Roxy Bar is spacious and refreshingly mellow. By day, it’s the perfect location to meet, work, and relax with a leisurely breakfast or lunch, and by night, it transforms into the archetypal downtown space where low-lying velvet and leather seating and floor to ceiling windows make for stylish socializing. Delicious appetizers and shared plates pair thoughtfully with wine and signature cocktails. For dinner, intimate tables line 6th Avenue and the menu features light, mostly organic appetizers and salads, plus larger entrees like Pan Seared Brook Trout and house-cut steaks. A music program features cutting-edge selections and weekly DJs, and the all day and late night menus go far beyond bar snacks.

My partner and I went to Roxy Bar looking for a great evening, nice food and wine, and some good live music. If these are what you are looking for, this is the place to go. Service is very good. And the people are very nice - staff and patrons. Classy place without being pretentious. Lastly, the pigs in the blanket and fried oysters are a must if you like them.
The heater was broken on Thanksgiving. So it was freezing while eating dinner. The ambiance was nice though, service was alright.
Love the love music. Great venue.
Amazing 10/10 experience
Love this place.
Our first time there; enjoyed it very much! Oysters were outstanding quality. Service was great. Ambiance is loud, colorful, lovely brick walls, copper ceilings; has an old yet contemporary feeling and vibe. The Oyster Bar room itself is excellent. Live music begins with a pianist, then moves to a band afterward. A great spot!
Wonderful brunch with much to choose from for fair price. Good music too.
Our server Michael was fantastic!! We were there for my date Sunday... we got complimentary champagne and music was perfect!
So bad it’s almost hilarious. Mainly designed to rip off tourists.
Took almost an hour to get lunch which was only appetizers and when the food finally did show , the waiter got half the order wrong . Way better options walkable
Maybe not the right place for the date. Meeting friends would be great. Music in the evening is awesome.
Unimpressed. Service was friendly but inattentive. It wasn’t busy but we waited a long time for our orders despite asking for it. Bar area had very loud patrons which isn’t fault of the venue. Food and drinks were ok and not expensive. Would probably not go back.
Great brunch place! The decor, ambiance and food will keep you coming back.
Friendly staff and great food. Went on a date here and it was really impressive! I was especially taken with the $1 oyster happy hour. Score!
We love it!
Asked for our credit card to sit outside and then couldn’t find waitress who had it. Bad experience
Again an amazing experience at the Roxy for brunch. Great atmosphere. Love this joint.
The Roxy bar has a wonderful atmosphere and fabulous decor! Brunch with live jazz is fine, although food could be of a better quality and selection! Worth a visit.
Great spot to listen to music in a wonderful ambiance. It’s a unique spot with tons to do. The service was top notch and the cocktail list was fun! Great night for a couple or group of friends!
One of my favorite spots! Wish they continued to serve their bar menu after 10pm.
Good brunch buffet $35 and bottomless mimosas $20! Great ambient. Nice place!
Fun and good food and drinks but service wasn’t great.
It was great.
Stayed at the Roxy for 2 nights. Made a reservation. Went with my daughter and husband. Their first offer of a table was a sofa and coffee table directly behind the checkin area. Would have had to stoop over the food to eat. When we refused, they offered us a table in the traffic directly in front of the buffet . Really?! What do people without reservations get? When I asked about the two empty booths near the bar, they told me that it was for reservations for 5-6 people and we were only 3. (when we left 1 of the tables had remained empty the whole time) Took several minutes and several conversations between the 2 hostesses to move us. Finally, a decent table for 4 near the jazz musicians. Lovely! Should never have been that hard. Food was very nice. Cold and hot tables. A little tight on space. On the cold was salmon, sturgeon, white fish, and charcuterie . Nice bakery selection with a lovely fresh berry bowl. Very different(kale, Waldorf, med pasta) salads with some unusual tarts(roasted tomato, and anchovy and garlic). Excellent omelets and Belgian waffles. They were constantly replenishing. The music was not too loud and the atmosphere was energetic. Would definitely try again. Hopefully without previous service issues.
If you are looking for a place with good live music, nice people, amazing service/staff and great food, this is the place to go. I loved everything. Just didn’t like the house made sausage. The Lola is one of the best cocktails I’ve ever tried.
Everyone enjoyed the live music and awesome atmosphere
The place is so NYC :)
French toast is delicious!
While the venue and ambiance was fun and well suited for a night out with friends, I found the service somewhat uncomfortable. Our waiter often felt condescending and seemed bothered by us. We were just a table of 2 and did not make any special requests. Like many places with happy hours, we started at happy hour and ended a few hours later. I got the sense he was concerned we weren't going to tip him well as a result of happy hour patrons.
Great place, fun but my clients said its not a good first date place to be.
I went there for Bruch. Food was average at best. Few choices and old dishes remained out for hours. Drinks were ok but in tint glasses full of ice. Nice atmosphere. Would have been fine if service was not atrocious. When you are getting your own food, waiter does not need to do much to keep a table happy. Unfortunately, they did not meet the meager need of refilling drinks.
One of my favourite places in NYC. The music is good, service very nice, food is better than expected for a bar with live music, and, in the end, you can go downstairs for more live music until late hours. Really Worth going for happy hour, dinner, and / or dancing.
What a wonderful find! We enjoyed it so much we booked a weekend next month to stay at the hotel. Great atmosphere, ambience and vibe. Will definitely be a new regular place on our trips into the city.
Honestly mandatory 20 percent service charge for buffet brunch is too much - we only got served drinks and had to pay €50 tip !
Best bunch joint in town. Classy but not so expensive. Live music is awesome!
We love the Roxy Bar. It's like stepping back in time without leaving your hotel. The music provided is always top notch, and the food and drink selection is excellent.
Our server was very disengaged and would walk away halfway through our order and get extremely annoyed whenever we wanted to order a drink. I've been there many many times, referred multiple people to the Roxy not only as a place for out of towners to stay but as a brunch and dinner spot, and this was the first time I felt disappointed in the service
