Fun and good food and drinks but service wasn’t great.
It was great.
Stayed at the Roxy for 2 nights. Made a reservation. Went with my daughter and husband. Their first offer of a table was a sofa and coffee table directly behind the checkin area. Would have had to stoop over the food to eat. When we refused, they offered us a table in the traffic directly in front of the buffet . Really?! What do people without reservations get? When I asked about the two empty booths near the bar, they told me that it was for reservations for 5-6 people and we were only 3. (when we left 1 of the tables had remained empty the whole time) Took several minutes and several conversations between the 2 hostesses to move us. Finally, a decent table for 4 near the jazz musicians. Lovely! Should never have been that hard. Food was very nice. Cold and hot tables. A little tight on space. On the cold was salmon, sturgeon, white fish, and charcuterie . Nice bakery selection with a lovely fresh berry bowl. Very different(kale, Waldorf, med pasta) salads with some unusual tarts(roasted tomato, and anchovy and garlic). Excellent omelets and Belgian waffles. They were constantly replenishing. The music was not too loud and the atmosphere was energetic. Would definitely try again. Hopefully without previous service issues.
If you are looking for a place with good live music, nice people, amazing service/staff and great food, this is the place to go. I loved everything. Just didn’t like the house made sausage. The Lola is one of the best cocktails I’ve ever tried.
Everyone enjoyed the live music and awesome atmosphere
The place is so NYC :)
French toast is delicious!
While the venue and ambiance was fun and well suited for a night out with friends, I found the service somewhat uncomfortable. Our waiter often felt condescending and seemed bothered by us. We were just a table of 2 and did not make any special requests. Like many places with happy hours, we started at happy hour and ended a few hours later. I got the sense he was concerned we weren't going to tip him well as a result of happy hour patrons.
Great place, fun but my clients said its not a good first date place to be.
I went there for Bruch. Food was average at best. Few choices and old dishes remained out for hours. Drinks were ok but in tint glasses full of ice. Nice atmosphere. Would have been fine if service was not atrocious. When you are getting your own food, waiter does not need to do much to keep a table happy. Unfortunately, they did not meet the meager need of refilling drinks.
One of my favourite places in NYC. The music is good, service very nice, food is better than expected for a bar with live music, and, in the end, you can go downstairs for more live music until late hours. Really Worth going for happy hour, dinner, and / or dancing.
What a wonderful find! We enjoyed it so much we booked a weekend next month to stay at the hotel. Great atmosphere, ambience and vibe. Will definitely be a new regular place on our trips into the city.
Honestly mandatory 20 percent service charge for buffet brunch is too much - we only got served drinks and had to pay €50 tip !
Best bunch joint in town. Classy but not so expensive. Live music is awesome!
Our server was very disengaged and would walk away halfway through our order and get extremely annoyed whenever we wanted to order a drink. I've been there many many times, referred multiple people to the Roxy not only as a place for out of towners to stay but as a brunch and dinner spot, and this was the first time I felt disappointed in the service
I live in the neighborhood, so the roxy is a natural stop.
An ok place to meet before heading elsewhere. While the oysters are OK , that's pretty much where it ends. The Service is inconsistent , the music intermittent and maître d' just full of themselves. If it wasn't just around the corner they never see my face.
Honestly some of the worst service I've ever experienced at the Roxy. Drinks were awful, waitress was rude, food was subpar. Truly disappointed.
No brunch on saturdays until september! Good food but overpriced for what it is! No jazz playing on saturdays either. Expected more!
Excellent as always
I had a perfect Birthday Brunch! Thank you!
Loved this place. Very romantic but not in a heavy handed way. Good food.
Dining experience has improved dramatically over the past several months.
Hands down best spot in the city. A true nyc gem. I'll be going back weekly.
A really nice brunch with lots of options satly sweet and a hot bar for waffles omelet and meet and on the other side a buffet with sweet and salty option for 35 dollars you can have a bozzy brunch for 20 more
still a good address , last time we went there was still Tribeca grand Hotel
great for brunch with friends
We had a group at the Roxy to celebrate a birthday and see some music. We all had a great time and really enjoyed the space!
Great place loved it !! I am life long New Yorker and this is what's all about!
I really like this place for Sunday brunch. However, they should consider replacing the cook (who makes the omelettes and waffles) as he had an attitude and was not at all friendly on my last visit there (2/5/17). Everyone else is very friendly and kind.
Went here for a quick lunch and drink during the week. It looks like it might be a cool place to grab drinks but the food was mediocre at best and vastly over priced. For a 30 dollar burger I expected something noteworthy. It wasn't. Nice spot for drinks, wouldn't recommend eating there
We have the best experience at brunch. Great service and food and my kids love the live band.
It's not what it used to be. It's loud, crowded, and the food isn't great. Such a shame.
Singer and band were fantastic! Hidden gem, we will be back.
Came back for Sunday brunch. The buffet and omelette stations are very satisfying, the general ambiance and atrium is quite comfortable, and the live music is really fantastic (Michael Sheridan quartet) with no music cover charge. Will definitely be back again.
The Roxy brunch is one of NYC's best. Good food, ambiance and service.
Great table, jazz and drinks
The brunch was good, and at certain times of the day they have free screenings of movies. Plus the jazz while you are brunching is a nice touch.
Food was better than expected for hotel brunch. Service was not good, very odd since they don't have to do much. It's a buffet.
My wife and I went for Sunday brunch. Great buffet and omelette/waffle station. Also a wonderful live band - guitar, accordion, bass and drums - who were fabulous. Will definitely be back again.
