   Scrumptious menu! The salmon mousse was the star of the meal. Also loved the goat cheese puffs and the macarons! Such a lovely experience!

   The tea menu was weird! I have had Afternoon Tea all over the world, including 2 other great tearooms in Boston, but this one misses the mark. Chicken salad was in a real egg shell! Very hard to eat and no bread. Hummus with nothing to eat it with. Cashew butter and jelly sandwich hardly had any cashew butter or jelly. The scones were simply flavorless biscuits with orange butter. And I only recognized the mediocre macaron of the 4 desserts. I had hoped it would have been much better food. The tea choices were just a few, but good. The only thing deserving 5 stars was the service, which was great. Disappointing. The Chef should visit the Silver Dove Afternoon Tearoom and the Courtyard Tearoom at the Boston Library to see what in my opinion, are excellent! Sorry!

   I’ve had high tea at the Empress in Victoria which was amazing. This time I brought a friend of mine who had been unable to secure seating when in Victoria. Had previously had very good experiences at the Boston Harbor Hotel and am aware of the beautiful water views. There was significant attention to detail because I requested soy and nut free. When I read evaluations right before going I went expecting a mediocre experience. Was pleasantly surprised! Service was attentive and without any issues. Tea quality was amazing. Water was hot. Tea strainers appropriately present. Too much food. Satiated I left with sweets for my daughter, along with a very satisfied friend.

   Everything was just average. The food was delivered almost as soon as we sat down, and we were asked, “what kind of tea do you want?” instead of being presented with the box of different loose-leaf teas (which we had to ask for). We didn’t appreciate the waiter just standing around talking to his co-worker while we were eating. Certainly not an experience worthy of a five-star hotel, and definitely not worth $75

   Service was outstanding. We went on a quiet Sunday and we stayed for 2 hours without being rushed. What you are paying for is the TIME to sit and relax. Scones were warm, buttery, delicious. The rest of the small bites were okay, and the grilled PB&J not served warm. They serve endless tea, but you have to request fresh tea or else they keep adding hot water to overstepped leaves. Come for the experience, setting and service, not the food.

   I recently had a nice 2hr afternoon tea with my mom. Service was great. We didn’t feel rushed like we do in some tea rooms, which was awesome. The tea, champagne, cocktails, and snacks were all delicious!

    We enjoyed our afternoon tea for three people. We were given a table by the windows overlooking the water. The restaurant itself is elegant looking and was a good setting for tea. The food fell a little short for us personally. While it was evident thought went into each item, we just didn’t think they were anything to write home about, esp. for the money.

    Our first time in Boston for Afternoon Tea, the food arrangements were beautiful and paired nicely with the Tea. I got the Roobois Herbal Tea and it was aromatic and a hint of vanilla. LOVED IT. We also got the caviar and it was a good amount for us two.

    My bestie and I went for Afternoon tea and it was WONDERFUL!! The ambience is beautiful and the food was wonderful and the presentation of all the tea tier items were so beautiful and innovative. We both don’t drink so they offered many alternatives like mocktails and sparkling cider. We had the best time!

    Great service in a pretty room overlooking Boston harbor. The high tea food was good: some standouts (biscuits, green tea mousse) and a few mediocre (oat cake and peanut butter jelly sandwich). I wish there were a few more tea options, but the tea I had was very good I thought it was lovely, but I feel like it’s a bit steep in price.

    The Tea contained too many sweet and not enough savory items. The balance was off. And peanut butter and jelly sandwiches whether toasted or not are not desired when one is paying $75 dollars per person. I had Tea at RW for many years prior to the pandemic and was excited to join you again. Unfortunately, the experience was less than I expected. On a post note, the scones, the tea and the pomegranate mousse pastries were all very good.

    This was such a special afternoon tea. My daughter and I had never done it before the staff in the restaurant and throughout the hotel were amazing. Special should out to Leo in the restaurant, the hostesses (who’s names I didn’t catch) and Joseph and Rabie on the front drive. As a former hotel industry associate I value good quality service above all else when enjoying an experience and that is what I received! I cannot thank y’all enough for making this afternoon tea something I’ll never forget. We will definitely come back ❤️

    I've taken my grandmother there for special events multiple times and every time has been an absolute hit. The tea itself is quite good, and the food is excellently prepared and beautifully presented. The service is charismatic and attentive without being overbearing or intrusive, and even on a grey day the view of the harbor is wonderful. While on the pricey side, it's exactly what it advertises to be; a high class tea with expertly crafted bite-sized explosions of flavor.

    We have attended afternoon tea at three spots and this one had the best quality food, one of the best tea brands available and five star service staff. They even wrote Happy Birthday of our tea tower, greatly appreciated! We will definitely be back & bring our out of town guests.

    The Afternoon Tea was Absolutely a wonderful experience!! From the moment we walked in the hostess greeted us with a smile, our wait staff was polished and attentive. Thank you Adrian for your lovely service. The doorman even ran ahead of us to open the doors for my 87 year old mother and I to get into our vehicle.     Great experience with a magnificent view. We went there during the "Golden Hour," sunset with the golden color toward the city lines. The food was excellent, and they had an outstanding tea selection. Definitely recommend.
