   We arrived and were seated promptly. The service and the food were very good. Our wait person was very attentive and pleasant.

   The service was great, and Victor, in particular, was very helpful in our food decisions. Very good food--a little too much lemon on the oysters app, but the Wild Shrimp entree with homemade pasta--superb. Also, the idustrial architecture let the room breathe, with lots of space and atmosphere.

   The food was good. The waitstaff Was really good once the waiter started serving us. We did sit without drinks for quite a while. Although we saw three bartenders we believe only one made drinks for the dining room. Drinks were really good just a little slow getting them. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable but he could only deliver to us what he was given.

   Food was great! Our waitress was knowledgeable and suggested a good selection of oysters. We will definitely come back.

   Our first visit to Row 34 was delightful! Lovely space, a menu that was focused on seafood (but my husband a delicious burger) and great service!

    I quickly learned that the concept of 'first come, first served' is merely a suggestion. Apparently, the staff reserves the right to be selective about which tables are granted to which guests, making me feel like I was auditioning for a seat rather than simply arriving to eat. It was truly a delightfulreminder that in some places, your reservation time is just a suggestion, and access to a table is a privilege, not a right. I was left to wonder if there’s a secret, unspoken test to determine who gets to sit down and who doesn't. Maybe it’s based on whether you look 'worthy' or have a special aura about you. In any case, my experience was one of exceptionalfrustration and confusion, which I'm sure was the intended ambiance. Definitely a great place if you enjoy feeling like a second-class citizen in a restaurant that clearly has an eye for 'exclusivity.
