    Excellent restaurant! From the gracious hostess to our wonderful waiter, Taylor we had a great time. The food was delicious and the ambience was everything. We will definitely be back!

    Odd experience. Some menu items were very good, others really subpar. Shrimp pimento spread, roasted beets salad, oysters, hamburger, and lobster roe pasta were good. Clam chowder, fish and chips (horrible breading), fish tacos, and bouillabaisse were below average. Draft beer was unavailable due to some problem with the system 🤷‍♀️. This was an anniversary celebration so a bit underwhelming.

    The Hake dinner was delicious. I love food that is creative, tasty, healthy, yet not loaded with calories since I love to eat out. Staff is always great. Love the high ceilings and atmosphere.

    Best lobster roll I ever had and I’m from Long Island where we know them well! Great fresh, cold oysters; delicious! Excellent, attentive, helpful service.

    Great raw bar oyster selection. Lobster roll was outstanding. Nice, casual atmosphere. Wine list was very good, but wish they had more than one whiskey available.

    You need to be a fishy fish person here! I went with my wife - who is one - and ordered the Black Bass whole fish. She loved it! I'm a mild white fish person. There was nothing on the menu for me. Enjoyed the beet salad and carrot/mushroom side dish. Would have liked a fish option - even scallops or something in that category.

    Good and ambiance were great although the restaurant is a bit noisy. I had cherry stones, shrimp, and clam chowder as appetizers. For an entree, I had fried oysters. All of the food was freshly prepared and very well seasoned. I would definitely recommend the restaurant and will go again the next time that I’m in Boston.

    Maybe, the freshest seafood I've ever had. The mussels and Oysters were perfect. Great lively restaurant. The wine list was limited, but i would highly recommend this place.

    I have been here before and always loved the food and atmosphere. Unfortunately this time we had a very loud table seated less than a foot away from us. They were so loud that we almost had to yell to talk to each other at our table of four. Very disappointed that tables were so close together esp after all the steps taken for Covid before. It was a Tuesday evening so did not expect the restaurant to be so noisy. We were fine before the next table group arrived. Then it was very confining…their waitress kept bumping into our chairs to serve them their drinks/meals and again noise level deafening.

    Fantastic food but don’t like the fact that they make reservations for 9.45pm and close the kitchen at 10pm Under pressure from the minute you sit down to make food choices.

    This is one of my favorite restaurants in Boston. We had a 3:30 reservation which is still lunch menu and just before the changeover to dinner. The lunch menu is fantastic and very similar to the dinner menu. The food was delicious and the service was great, including some great beer recommendations from our server.

    The service was fantastic and the restaurant is beautiful. We got the lobster roll due to recommendations that it was the #1 in Boston and it was good but I wish we would have tried a different entree.

    My reservation was at 5 and the doors were open around 4:50 but they weren’t ready to seat me so I waited. When they did seat me, they still weren’t quite ready. The bartender at the time didn’t seem like she was very excited to be working so that made it feel like I was a burden. The food was delicious but it would’ve been nice to have a bit of explanation of how their menu worked and what type of oysters were on the menu. I had the raw bar and the clam chowder.
