Row 34 - Boston

The sibling restaurant to Island Creek Oyster Bar, Row 34 serves up a seafood-heavy menu in an industrial-inspired setting. Chef/Owner Jeremy Sewall's menu offers fish entrees and an extensive oyster selection, along with craft beers and an eclectic wine list. Classic comfort food side dishes round out the menu.

All we were looking for: the best seafood we had in Boston and New England, nice setting, very good (and honest foremost!!) service. If I could, I would go back straight away. Had the seafood tower which was served with great toasted bread.
The food is always so good! Never disappoints!
Best lobster roll in new England -- and that says something. Excellent raw oysters as well. Strong craft beer selection, nice Fort Point/Seaport Boston vibe. It was just a little pricey, but that's a minor drawback. I've had $34 lobster rolls at much lesser places.
Went there for a one year wedding anniversary last weekend and had a great time. Even though we had to wait 15 minutes for a table, they brought over complimentary champagne and the overall service was awesome. We have always loved Row 34 but the other night was especially exceptional. Thank you to all. And food/beer list is awesome!
Awesome as always! Came all the way from the DMV and will be back again when it warms up. :-)
Delicious oyesters and lobster rolls in a minimalist ambience with great bee selection. A great place to experience the taste's of Boston that's not touristy or over done. Great Place!
Absolutely the best oysters and claws. This is my second time back for lunch this trjp. Had the crab cakes and salmon takati sooo delicious and fresh!
The food was incredible, as always! Their Tuna Tartare is by far the best in Boston.
I have been here before -- had the lobster roll and it was delicious! This time I was disappointed. I had the mussels for an appetizer and they were very salty. The noise level is quite loud so difficult to have a conversation during dinner.
$34 for a lobster roll is ridiculous! But I love hot buttered lobster rolls so decided to indulge. It was delicious but for the price there should have been at least twice the meet in the roll.
Seafood surely exceptional fresh however the 242 fries amaze me the most. Must order.
Food was outstanding as usual. Service was a little slow, unfortunately (suggestion: it’s always a good idea to check if people want something more/else to drink with the main course!) but otherwise very good.
We were seated in the second dining room which is not as fun as the main one where the bar is located. Great if you want less noise level though. Next time I’ll ask for the main dining room.
Love, love, love Row 34. Raw bar is phenomenal. Waiter’s suggestions on oysters were on point. I can’t say enough about the warm lobster roll. Great selection of craft beers. A must stop whenever I’m in Boston.
This is a happening place, even on a Monday night!
Arrived on time for our reservation but all tables were still full. 15 minutes at the bar later we were given option to sit outside, which is a good option (even during inclement weather). Despite busy nearby vehicular traffic, it is usually much quieter out there.
I wasn’t a fan of the waiter repeatably pushing to get the order in ASAP. Water glasses were not consistently refilled but otherwise the service was efficient.
My friends reported the oysters to be delicious, especially the Barnstable and blue Mookie varieties. I thought the fish taco a bit simplistic, the branzino daily fish special was prepared and presented nicely, however.
You need to sell liquor in your Boston restaurant like you do in Portsmouth. Oysters and chilled vodka is the BEST!!!
My favorite restaurant for when we are visiting Boston!
Great seafood and oysters. Nice beer and cocktail selections. Great coffee as well.
Staff rushed us through dinner, everything else was great.
Great food and exceptional service! Always delivering a special experience.
Birthday for girlfriend
Terrific atmosphere. A bit loud to hold a conversation but very energetic. Very overpriced for lobster roll! $30 is outrageous.. It was good but definitely not worth it.
Lobster roll was dry and the meat was tough. Steak was adequate. Squash side was overly sweet and unsubstantial. Raw oysters were great and the input from the server was extremely helpful.
I have been to Row 34 before and had a great experience. This time, however, was very different. The food was good —but the service was almost comically bad. We had to ASK to have our order taken, menus were taken before we ordered, a glass was broken all over our table and surrounding floor, and no one took our dessert order—they simply dropped a check on the table. And we would have ordered dessert! I could have let it go but it was actually our anniversary, so kind of a bummer to have such a bad experience.
one of my favorite Boston restaurants. Oysters and Cider at Row 34 never fail to make me happy.
Great food and delicious oysters - wonderful ambience for a fun weekday lunch
Skip the Chowder! And everything seemed overly salty.
Food outstanding. Service person nice, tried to get answers to our questions. Wine delicious. Great place to reunite with old friend.
Had a good meal and the service was very attentive. Definitely would recommend it. The chair is metal and can be a bit hard on the butt.
The restaurant was great, although the music maybe a little too loud for good conversation. The food was also delicious but the AC was so high it meant I was cold and soon my food was too! Two small things which the restaurant could definitely change to make the experience perfect.
Birthday dinner for my son
Great food and convenient for waterfront strolling. We were visiting from NJ and would come here again.
The atmosphere, food and service were fantastic. I strongly recommend this place make the agenda.
The food is out of this world and the raw bar was so fresh. My husband and I enjoyed our wedding anniversary dinner and the house even sent over some Champagne. I will definitely be visiting for the lobster bucatini again!!!
Great food and value, but VERY noisy.Bery difficult to have a conversation during dinner.
The Best Lobster Rolls in Boston
This place was a perfect choice, a special treat just before flying out of town!
Row 34 was delightful as always. I had taken my uncle to dinner there a few years ago and while he was back in town with his wife for a day this week he requested to go again to be able to show her this great restaurant. We had a fantastic meal with even more fantastic service. My only note is that it's a bit loud - especially when dining with those nearing 80!
We were there for lunch. We had oysters, fish tacos, lobster tacos, lobster roll, seafood rice - all very good.
Service was very good with helpful advice on food and drinks.
Great selection of beers and a very good compact wine list.
We had the best server and the food/ambiance was amazing!
Great beer and wine list. Small food menu centered around a raw bar or whole, bone-in, head to tail fish. If you don't want to fight with your food, not many other choices. Wasn't worth waiting 3 weeks for a Tuesday reservation in a very very loud room. Too many other great choices in the seaport.
