We've teamed up with farmers who are passionate about growing great produce while respecting the environment. Fruit and vegetables will be come directly from biodynamic Brambletye in Sussex, and from Organiclea, a cooperative in East London.
In the center of the room is our bar which is reservable for guests dining with us over the age or 18, or 16 if accompanied by an adult. The rest of our seating is a mixture of standalone and communal tables which can be be converted into a semi private area for up to 10 to 12 guests. To host your event in this area please contact us directly.
Delicious food! So many amazing flavours, and great variety for vegetarians
Very original food and cordial service...the slot allocated to the table though is only 1h30min so too short for a nice and relax meal !
Not impressed with food quality.
Service was pretty slipshod.
Was all very fabulous
Waitress Sarah was superb explains the menu and recommending dishes. The food was very different and everything was delicious. A very enjoyable lunch.
Just what you’ve come to expect from Ottolenghi: tasty food rooted in the Eastern Mediterranean, clear views of food being prepared (or already on offer), more communal dining than most, excellent service that was actually helpful.
A wanted to try place tried, enjoyable unusual but tasty
Fantastic option for breakfast/brunch near the British Museum. Great food, great service.
Absolutely gorgeous food. First visit to ROVI we love Ottolenghi’s food & it didn’t disappoint. There wasn’t any pretentiousness just very friendly staff who know the food.
The food was awesome especially the lamb ribs and the celeriac but so was the prawn crumpet and the beans oh wow they were beautiful. Just need the recipes now Yotum to try at home.
Food was fantastic - both my friend and I had the JALAPEÑO CORNBREAD, scrambled eggs... Followed by shared PANCAKES... The fresh grapefruit juice was delicious too!
We were only one of a few tables & had to ask several times for things that were forgotten hence not giving 5* for service.
Loved the open chef space / kitchen!
Can’t wait to return for more yummy food...
We were a bit disappointed as we had to wait over 30 minutes for our table and we asked for a complimentary drink while we were waiting. They instead give us free nibbles which were delicious and rectified the situation.
A delight for vegetarians - almost too many plates to choose between!
The most ridiculously uncomfortable chairs spoilt the whole evening. We were a party part seated on the banquette which was comfortable but the wooden, woven strapped chairs are a disaster. Too low, too tilted away from the table and very unpleasant.
Having said that the food and service were excellent.
One of my favorite restaurants in London!
Consistently delicious and eclectic menu
Spot on service
Hip energetic dining room!
One of the best restaurants in London with impeccable service every time. Great for vegetarians also!
Third visit for lunch, brought friends and they loved it. I love the food and the service is always excellent.
What Ottolenghi does with vegetables is amaaaaazing.
Fantastic restaurant, great atmosphere, marvellous food, friendly and informative service, highly recommended
Fabulous cocktail to start followed by dish after dish of deliciousness. Stand out dish was the celeriac shwarma. Who needs meat when vegetables are this tasty and so wonderfully presented.
We were on holiday in London and I wanted to check out an Ottolenghi restaurant. I wanted to try to newest and Rovi did not disappoint. Everything we tried was an experience and delight. The vegetables were treated gently but in unique ways-even when I’d had the ingredients before, they’d never been so good. The piece de resistance was the halibut. It was literally the best piece of fish I’ve ever had, prepared simply and exquisitely and served with einkorn bread as a sort of taco, curry & labaneh. Dessert was terrific-meringue and lemon curd included digestive fennel seeds. My family loved the miso fudge-I was too full. Sour dough was exquisite. And don’t miss the cocktails
I think it’s overrated if you know how to cook vegetables that are in season. Nothing amazing and in my opinion a lack of attention to some details, like pips left in grapes... I understand they want to keep the fruit whole but no one was to spit out pips when eating...
Wonderful, imaginative menu. Very friendly efficient service. Laid back atmosphere. Good value for money.
Oh the flavours! Unbelievable. Went for a number of small plates. Difficult to choose a favourite. The vegetable dishes were amazing!
vorspeise und hauptspeise waren stark verbrannt und das fleisch (ribbchen und kotelette) über gebühren fettig.
ich war das zweite mal dort und zweifle, ob es ein drittes mal geben wird (das erste mal war spitzenmässig)
Good food but not as fantastic, as I would have expected from Ottolenghis reputation. The burrata, tempura and the lemon marengue with fennel were great! Our disappointments were: chairs were crummy, not clean, and the sofa was difficult to get out of. All in all, it was very nice, good fun but not mindblowing.
Excellent, was very impressed with the veggie dishes especially. I took my 80 odd year old mother who is hard to please and she was blown away. Enough said.
Our dinner at Rovi was outstanding. We sampled 5 small plates and each one was very different and delicious. The staff were very attentive, knowledgeable and charming.
The only problem for my very hard-of -hearing husband, was the noise. Nevertheless we should love to dine there again.
Impeccable food and service, if rather expensive.
A delightful setting and superb food and service. We had a limited amount of time so appreciated the prompt and pleasant service, with no compromise on quality of lunch experience. Definitely recommend.
Delicious lunch. Lovely experience. Top notch staff. You should go!
We had been to Rovi just over a year ago and it was utterly fantastic. This time it was still brilliant but the food wasn't as subtle. I don't do hot spicy and far too many of the dishes I wanted I was warned were hot spicy. Even the other spices felt a bit heavy handed. The brilliance of ottolenghi is the subtle and unusual combinations of texture and flavour. But overall it is still wonderful - the environment and the service. Just don't spell out to hot spicy when that is everywhere.
Food is amazing here. However we went for a friend’s birthday. I asked for a birthday dessert in the end when I made the reservation and specifically asked for it again during the confirmation call. Was assured they would bring it after the meal. It never came! Such a shame. Oh well!
The restaurant and the staff is nice. The food is of good quality, but tastes quite awful. That is of course entirely subjective but I found the combinations of flavours quite unpalatable and £90 too much for something quite that unpleasant. The Brokkoli was the only thing I liked and the burrata once I separated it from everything they added.
War zum zweiten mal dort.
Essen ist toll und einfallsreich. Ambiente sehr angenehm. Service manchmal etwas zu übermotiviert. Wir hatten einen slot von 90 Minuten. Das haben wir auch ein wenig gespürt. Dennoch sehr guter Abend
Arrived to a very friendly lady, passed into an equally lovely waitress. Our food was was delicious, full of wonderful flavours, would recommend to everyone
The place tries to be refined and exclusive but the furniture is rather cheap and the room extremely noisy. The food is just ok but the prices are ridiculous for what you get.
Not a good choice.
Highly inventive food. Have the charred leeks and celeriac shawarma. You can't go wrong.
I am a big fan of the books and I very much enjoyed my evening there. The food was great! I already recommended it to a friend ;)
One word. AMAZING!
We were completely astonished about every course we got.
Best lunch of this year!
Always wonderful and interesting food. Staff welcoming and helpful
We loved it! Fred provided brilliant service. The food was out of this world - gutted we didn’t leave room for dessert!!!!
