Very nice! Good authentic quality food. Would return
Rouge never fails to impress me. It is a refreshing and magical experience every time. Highly recommend it to anyone tired of the old same old Miami Beach has to offer.
Worse food ever we ordered two appetizer there was so little this was ridiculous and not even fresh this people should not be allowed To have a restaurant.
Even in France if you go to a gastronomic restaurants the Portions are tiny but twice his portion .
And when you order an appetizer if they said home made you don’t expect to get instead Low quality cane , that was horrible.
Outstanding experience , Will return soon. Thank you.
This restaurant is like hidden gem in Miami Beach
Beautiful place with outdoor charming space
We came here for Valentines Day in vacation, and the staff was overwhelmed and inexperienced... but the food and entertainment were great.
It is truly sad when you get a delicious plate delivered from the runner, but can't get any sort of beverage or attention from your actual waiter...
In the end, we packed up our own leftovers, and tipped the staff... Once we were able to get our check.
Extremely over priced, not worth it, definitely better restaurants out there
Nice but so expensive 400 dollars for two people
Disappointed and way overpriced. This restaurant was listed as a $ restaurant indicating that the items on the menu were $30 and under. However, upon arrival we were presented with a $129 per person pre fixed, no option menu. The restaurant did indicate there would be a pre fixed menu for Valentine’s Day, however it did not specify how much it cost or that it would be set with no options. We were informed by someone who may or may not have been the owner of the restaurant, that the only dining option this evening was the pre fixed menu at a cost of $129 per person with no options or substitutions. The pre fixed menu consisted of five plates, four of them being small in portion, and one being medium and there were no options given as to diet (ie vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, pescatarian, et al). I️t was simply five items that you were forced to eat regardless of dietary restrictions. When we advised that we would like to have a bottle of wine at the bar instead of dinner, we were confronted by the same individual about a $100 per person cancellation fee. We disputed that this was in fact a cancellation at all as we were present in the restaurant and spending money on alcohol. We were told that we were required to order the $129 per person pre fixed menu or we would incur a $100 per person cancellation fee for not purchasing the pre fixed menu. Reluctantly, we stayed and tried the pre fixed menu as the “cancellation fee” for not eating the designated dishes was almost as much as staying and trying it on our Valentine’s Day. Upon receipt of the bill, we were again surprised to find that a service charged was already added to our overpriced meal of mediocre dishes (at best) and the wine was charged at $10 more per bottle than stated on menu. To say the least, it felt like a scam. On the positive side, the restaurant did have a great jazz band playing tonight.
Good food, live music! Hard to find that combination....Rouge was great!
We were four people out for our first time dining together. As I had booked the reservation, I was a little anxious. We loved the garden out in the back, it was almost magical. I had the Fois Gras that was superb. My second course was the Risotto, also very good. Both portions were a little small, but very filling.
All members of the party loved their meal and felt that the service and ambience was excellent. As small as the restaurant is, we ran into other friends at the restaurant as well. A great evening and restaurant choice!
The previous photos used to show a red velvet landscape on the interior, and a fireplace outside on the enclosed patio.
Maybe my glasses didn’t transition fast enough, it was small restaurant. Almost could miss it from the outside. The patio seemed better.
The service was slow and we we the only people on the premises. The sign said open at noon, we entered at 11:51 am and were told to come back later. Our reservation was for 12:30 pm so we were early.
The Algerian waiter was pleasant and took our appetizer order of mackerel (cold) laced with vinegar and onions and carrots. I guess I don’t like cold fish.
We both saw the wild boar and placed our selection, but we’re informed the was only one portion, so my wife chose the beef kebab. Hers was tender and flavorful, my boar must’ve been in a pig fight earlier in the day.
With a liter of Pellegrino our bill came to $139 and change. The tip was included automatically. I would not have given such a large tip.
On my bucket list for a romantic lunch, but my expectations were too damn high.
Excellent food and cocktails. Service was excellent and there was great entertainment. I had corvina and my husband had the boullibase. They delivered dessert with a birthday candle.
Very nice, too expensive i would recommeded the place.
Wanted to listen to the live jazz, didn’t disappoint! Also loved that Casablanca was playing in the background
Fantastic French food in a peaceful & beautiful setting. Great service, nice wine & drink list and lots of charm. Must try!
When I come to Miami Beach I always try to eat here. The place has terrific food and wine
Perfect ladies night! We took slow over appetizers and drinks. The service was delightful and everyone was patient and knowledgeable. The music was outstanding. A night to remember
I have lived in the area for 11 years. Rouge is beyond so much more them a neighborhood gem. It is A+++ Food. French/Moroccan cuisine. First: the food is impeccably prepared ALWAYS. Second, it is quant and elegant inside always with elegant music lightly played in the background. If you take allot at their website, they have a varied range of live music regularly. If you are a high end food lover....you will be very pleased.
We had a wonderful time at Rouge. It was our second time there and the food, as before, was outstanding. The trout special was quite delectable as was the souffle. The service is very good. The wait staff were quite attentive and there was never a need to wait for or contact them. While it's above our typical price point for dinner, it is definitely worth it for special occasions.
Beautifully presented food full of flavors served with absolute thoughtfulness and knowledge. Sensible wine list to perfectly compliment the food. Lovely ambience to ensure a memorable meal.
Service was horrible. Average food and very expensive for no reason. Would not recommend
Very pricey but good food and ambiance. Jazz singer and pianist were outstanding.
Fantastic Food!! Original cuisine...... will be back!!!
Service was horrible. Food was cold. Sat 3 hours for dinner final bill was $650😳😳
Very disappointed with the experience. We went for New Year’s Eve and there was a set five course menu. Food was fair and service was not great. There was only three employees working for the whole restaurant. Very pricey for the quality of the food. Very disappointed
It was a wonderful New Year’s Eve menu! The waiter and owner were very attentive.
I don’t mind spending money on good food but the portions were small. It’s a pricey place. $12.95 for three chorizo stuffed dates. Three. The cheese soufflé came in a container smaller than a coffee mug. Overall the food was fair but again not worth the prices.
Food was mediocre, but service was very poor. We felt ignored for most is the meal with Emory glasses and no server in sight. Everything was also more expensive then we expected. Restaurant should be rate $$, at least.
Appetizer were varied, well presented and very good. Main course was served lukewarm and the sauses tasted very strong, really not worth the price. The service was poor; the plates from our appetizers had not been removed by the time the main course arrived. For the price you would expect more.
Very enjoyable evening with great food and live jazz music
Absolutely incredible service, food and wine. One of the best meals and dining experiences I have ever had. Although it is on the expensive side, the wine was not overpriced and the food is worth the money. Definitely recommend for a special occasion.
Highly recommended. Very elegant environment, but not stuffy or formal. Great service and food. Would definitely go back
Dined here for my husband’s birthday. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Service was excellent and food was delicious. I would recommend the Beef Cheek and mashed potatoes. It’s very tender and seasoned well. The ambiance is very romantic. There was live music the night we attended. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a romantic date spot, or special occasion restaurant for friends.
Outstanding experience, I will come back soon.Thank you.
This place really delivers. High level food in a low stress environment. Try the Wagyu beef cheeks. You won’t regret it.
Authentic French food with charming service and a lovely welcoming atmosphere, Rouge is a delight.
Based on their reviews, and pictures from their web site, I thought it would be a nice experience to take my wife for her birthday.
it was a total disappointment. Nothing from the pictures where available on the menu. Their menu is very limited, I Do not recommend the escargot. cheese suffle was ok.
My wife had the filet mignon with mash potato, it was ok. I had the only chicken plate on the menu and the waiter made it sound like if it was nice plate with vegetables, he never said it was a soup Very bland and got me sick.
Entertainment was great !!! If you want a good meal for your money try “capital grill” or other
Great experience at Rouge celebrating my birthday. I shall return very soon.
