Roti Indian Bistro - San Francisco
Good food, great service, but a bit compact for my taste. Would very much recommend to friends and acquaintances.
With six people we were able to order a good variety of food.
Lamb w peas n potatoes
Wonderful food, good presentation, with a very reasonable price at $25pp including drinks and tip.
Excellent service and delicious food. The tandoori chicken special was my favorite.
Stellar food and service. Too bad parking is such an issue.
I love everything about Roti, and especially the owner Mr Pankash, EXCEPT for the noise level which can sometimes get too high. Wish there were a way to add muting to the walls or ceiling, or something! But the food is excellent and their Basmati rice is the very best in the city...perfect every time.
The BEST Indian restaurant in the city - in my opinion. Nice, comfortable space, friendly staff, and most importantly - amazing Indian food! Plus, they create a specials menu each month. I drive 20 minutes from Nopa just to go here.
Best Indian food in SF!!
I would definitely recommend this restaurant! I always bring my out of town guests to Roti.
Really unbelievable quality and taste food!!! Lovely service...
It was one of those casual nights out when everything went as well as it ever could. Food was rich in flavors and came out fast and hot. No alcohol at the moment, which helped keep the bill under $50. We'd go back in a hot minute.
Everything was lovely as usual! No real beer because they are waiting for their liquor license, but they had some non alcoholic beer and seated us when we arrived early!
Great location. Good service. Excellent selection of Indian food
our group think it's the best Indian food around. Our friends come from San Mateo and our group has tried many Indian restaurants and we like this place. The older gentleman, i think the owner gave great ideas on what to eat. I'll be back soon.
Love the food, ambiance and neighborhood
I especially like to eat at Roti with friends, so we can share a number of different dishes. Roti can accomodate a number of different diet preferences.
Great food, service, hospitality, and ambiance. Vegetarian thali (sampler, incl rice, nan, mango lhassi & dessert) & half order chicken tandoori perfect for 2--& under $40.
Always a pleasure. Very good service and food. Can be a bit loud at times, but no other issues.
Dishes are prepared with care and are full of flavor - consistently.
The food and service is always outstanding!
I visit them at least once a month and I love to bring my out-of-town guest there for dinner.
Delicious food. Fun for family and friends. Authentic.
Great food. Tandoori is excellent. Incredibly nice staff and owner. Best Indian food in San Francisco and so friendly and kind
This was the second time my companion and I visited Roti in the last month. Each time, the food and service were outstanding. Thank you to everyone at Roti. Cheers.
The waitress was great, very accommodating, brought us an ice cream birthday treat, offered tea for me when I said I was cold. It was very cold, although we were near the front door. The food was good. Two of us ordered salads with salmon that the really liked. Two ordered chicken tikka masala, very tasty, but the chicken was over cooked. The naan was delicious.
Excellent food, great service. We had a last minute addition to our reservation. The staff was accommodating and able to get us seated comfortably.
Always a good meal with attentive service. Good neighborhood spot for casual or special occasions.
Our neighborhood gem!! Lunch or dinner. Great food always served with a smile. And affordable fair prices!
We've been coming to Roti for years. Whenever we're looking for a guaranteed satisfying meal, we'll head here for their butter chicken and rice. Great vegetarian options.
We have been coming here for years because the food and service are consistently outstanding.
Their changing menu of special dishes are always creative and delicious, as are their regular dishes.
My fiancee and I agree that Roti is the best Indian restaurant in the city.
A lovely reminder of why i love family owned restaurants in this city.
Went with a group of 8 to celebrate a birthday. Enjoyed everything we ordered -- especially a seafood curry . Owner came over and chatted with us a bit --- which was nice. They accommodated us bringing in our own birthday cake. They brought out some nice ice creams from Mitchell's, including a novel flavor --- lucuma --- using a Peruvian fruit.
We love Indian food and this little neighborhood gem didn’t disappoint! The lamb lollipops as other reviewers recommended are truly special. The chicken korma was delicious too! Great neighborhood as well.
Roti is our Indian go-to spot. Warm and inviting. The owners are always there, always cheerful, helpful, and wanting to please. The food is delicious! Try the Machchi Korma... it never disappoints.
Great they even gave us a surprise cake!!
Fabulous service, food, and menu. We didn’t drink alcohol but their wine and beer list is great. We love Roti so much and are very grateful that they continue to serve amazing food. The staff is wonderful.
Ive been eating here at least twice a month for the past 6 years. This is my favorite restaurant in San Francisco.
Great value for the money, food was delicious, beautiful and clean interior. Most importantly service was excellent - love the friendly owner. Can’t ask for more!
This is my go-to restaurant in West Portal. Always dependable and never disappoints. I always leave happy.
The food was great and they were very accommodating of our large group including babies.
Always great food and service. This Friday night it was a bit noisy because of a group near us. Not much you can do about that.
Excellent quality and service. Very informal and relaxed atmosphere. Extensive menu with lots of great choices for vegetarians and carnivores.
