   Immediately upon being seated we were told that we’d have to order within 30 minutes and vacate our seats within the hour in preparation for an event. When reservations were made we were not notified that there was a time limit on our lunch. As we ate, crew were literally taking down the umbrellas around us. The whole experience was rushed and less than stellar. I think letting your guests know their time is limited is only fair. It does not make sense for your commute to be longer than your actual lunch. In addition, when we asked the waitress If there was another bar on the property we could go to, we were told that “She didn’t know and wasn’t sure.”

   A little surprise cafe nestled aside the pool area at the hotel. Though right in the same area it is separated by foliage and creates its own space making it quaint yet still connected to the poolside vibes. The food was delish and the service was as good as any high end restaurant. Bon appetite!

   Went here with my daughter for lunch. We were blown away by how amazingly sweet the staff was and how fast the food and drinks came out. We sat outside to get a nice view of the pool and even though people were using it, it was surprisingly quiet and calm. We will definitely be back! The ambiance is out of this world!

   Food and ambience was amazing, servers were a bit cocky and it felt like they had to beg them to order items. Also they charged same amount for virgin drinks than with alcohol

   Great sunny breakfast/brunch spot with views of David Hockney painted pool. Just shy of fabulousness. Our server, Zack was attentive and expedient with refreshing drinks. The Avocado toast was enough to qualify as a meal. The almond flour pancakes soft and fluffy. We Will definitely enjoy this space & place again in the future

    Unfortunately, several of the shrimp in my shrimp cocktail were not deveined ... that's just unacceptable.. There was a hair in my friend's prosciutto baguette sandwich and my other friend could not have had a more off putting response when her salmon tartare arrived without the crackers it is supposed to come with and the response was, "it doesn't come with that anymore" (his attitude was don't bother me)...when my friend pushed on saying that the crackers were in the menu description and she has always had it that way he was clearly annoyed. He was not the service person that had been helping us (she was lovely). When she returned we told her what happened. The manager came and was very kind and wanted to comp us some ordered items but we declined as I explained we were not there for free food rather good food and good service. Overall, the ambience is great and several of the other service elements were very pleasant. Something is going on with the kitchen not being top notch right now, however we would give it another shot in the future.

    We showed up to the hotel and when we inquired about our reservation at Rosy Cafe we were told the venue was closed for a private event. No one contacted me to let us know our reservation had been cancelled and I made it several days prior to the day. Super disappointing and ended up eating at the hotels steak house which was worth it and amazing bit 3 times the price. I know things happen but they could have at least comped our drinks or part of the meal. Things happen - we will try it again in the future.

    Had breakfast and lunch here while staying at the Hollywood Roosevelt. The food was very good and fresh. Zack was our server, he was amazing! Always friendly and very accommodating.

    Wait staff kept disappearing, tables around me had to go up to the bar and get their own drinks/refills. We were sharing dishes, staff never came back with extra plates. Tip is already added into bill, so they had no reason to give us any type of service. It was horrible. Food was good, but there are plenty of restaurants with good food and service around that I would rather give my business to. Don't waste your time.

    The breakfast was embarrassing. I would recommend walking to the burger place out front or going somewhere else. The restaurant uses a kitchen that is not located in the actual restaurant and all the food is cold before it reaches you. It also wasn't very good. I would not eat there again.

    In the end we enjoyed our experience but it started off pretty rocky. We made a reservation online for noon. We arrived on time to find nobody there except a guy putting out tables. He said they had closed because they were shooting a commercial, however that was not stated when we made the reservation. After about 10 minutes the bartender showed up and said we could pick a take and order food but the liquor was locked up and she'd have to find the key. It took some time, but we finally were able to order a drink and get some food. The food was delicious, the drinks and service were okay. I'm guessing it was a one time thing and will try again another time.

    I attended a special event for an Oscar Viewing Party. The venue and service was great. The audio was not ideal for the size of the room. It was hard to hear even though the volume was very high. The venue needs to look into what is required for cinema sound and not concert hall sound. Thanks.

    Arrived right on time for our reservation, stood awkwardly at the hostess stand for a few minutes in the beating sun on a 90+ degree day at noon, no one was there to greet us. A server finally shouted over at us, "you can just seat yourself". Ok, so we grabbed ourselves a menu, sat down at a table, all of which were exposed in the sun. There were just a few bistro tables strewn about next to the pool, some umbrellas, but not very much shade or ambiance. We looked over the menu and got our laptops set up (was there for a meeting). We continued to sit there for another 5-10 minutes, no one had even greeted us. While reviewing the menu, I noticed they were charging $15 to access their WIFI and wanted $16 for a mimosa! I get it, it's Poolside at the Roosevelt, but if you're going charge for WIFI and over price your food and drinks, at least greet your customers. I was so embarrassed for my client, that we just stood up and walked out.

    The hotel did not honor our open table reservation. We arrived a few minutes early and they told us to wait while the hostess helped another party. As we waited, several groups and individuals walked in an said a code name and were immediately seated. We asked for the hostess numerous times and finally went to try to find a seat. We were told it was reservation only and to go back to check in with the hostess. When she finally returned, she said that we didn't have a reservation. I showed her the confirmation and she said that it wasn't valid and that we had to wait 2 hours. We left.
