I loved everything about this place, the service, the food, the drinks, the atmosphere. All top notch!
Great food and great service. Rossoblu is a favorite!
Had an amazing time. Food was delicious, thanks to our waiters recommendation. Michael, you were the best!
Friendly, knowledgeable service. Food was delicious. Dined outside & enjoyed the ambiance.
Excellent food. Service very good except on occasion it took too long to get someone's attention or to get more iced tea. Corkage $30 which IMHO is too much but not really out of line with other restaurants of this quality. And again, while not out of line with other restaurants, it was too noisy, mostly because they were playing background music at too high a volume.
Great night. Service, food, ambiance all excellent. Will definitely be back.
An all around excellent and authentic first rate dining experience. Every part of the meal was enjoyable. The internal space in nicely designed and very functional/user-friendly especially during Covid. If you are, however, hard of hearing, there may be an issue if crowded due to elevated background noise.
Always a great experience, food is fantastic. Was sad to see some of favorite dishes not on the menu but hopefully will be back soon.
Everything was delicious and the service was excellent
We have dined with you several
Times but for some reason the current menu was not as exciting as it usually is. Some of my favorites were not offered and that was disappointing.
Lovely place. A few ordered items were forgotten during the course of the evening, but a fantastic menu and atmosphere overall.
First time, it was a recommendation from a friend. We went for our anniversary. We sat inside, the service was good, food was just ok. $20 for sparkling water when the bill is already $200+ seems a little annoying when they seat you asking "still or sparkling"
The food was very underwhelming.
Wonderful experience - Food and service were outstanding
Rossoblu has it dialed in. The outdoor seating under a huge tent, gas heaters if needed and attentive servers and staff made it so relaxing and enjoyable. The dishes, as usual, were prepared to perfection and delicious. Love their specialty cocktails, too! Cameron’s Kick is genius.
Everything was perfect!
The food was excellent but the service was incredible. Our waiter was perfect and went above and beyond. He overheard us ask the hostess about a dessert and asked about it in the back first. That alone was an incredible gesture and luckily they had one more! He really finished the dinner strong for us
We’ve been to Rossoblu before but not since the pandemic. I’m happy to say the food, ambiance and service were all terrific. Big thanks to our server Nicholas who was exceptional. We will be back!
This place exceeded expectations! The service was amazing and personable and the food was some of the best I've had when visiting LA over the years. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone!
They ran out of their tagliatelle. How did they get a mention from Michelin? Somethings can pit be explained. Provable, hopefully, recovering from the closures.
Service was very slow, felt like we were being ignored for a while. One in our party was not serve their meal until 15 minutes after the others. It definitely felt like they were doing us a favor. We have had other excellent experience is here and we’re very disappointed
The Food, Service and Ambiance were great! It was a fun night.
Warm evening breezes in the garden as we dined on superb courses, Bolognese-style. Terrific pair of food and wines with lovely suggestions from the staff. The place is alive with delicious smells, vistas, laughter, and light. Hard to find something better in LA!
Always a wonderful experience
Every part of the experience was excellent. I would definitely recommend.
I always love the food here. It just cannot be beaten!
Incredible service. Accommodating and punctual.
Great restaurant and nice ambiance. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing.
Amazing meal, beautiful atmosphere, great service and a taste of Bologna all in one!
Best food, service, and welcoming garden in the city!
Love this place. Very special
Great to be back at rossoblu! Fantastic food and great service
The patio ambience was disappointing.
A great experience! The food was warm, delectable, and fresh. Our servers were very kind and attentive; our wine glasses were never empty! They brought us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. Would recommend to anyone celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a fun night!
The friendly, engaging and professional service was only,at he’d in enjoyment by the delicious food. (All items ordered by our group of four were delicious and nicely presented)
It had been a few years since my last visit to Rossoblu. Last time i had shared some pretty good pasta dishes with friends. This time we started by sharing Valbruna’s eggplant. I don’t know who Valbruna is but this was the highpoint of the meal, it was absolutely delicious as perfectly cooked eggplant can be, really reminding me of similar dishes that i have eaten in Italy, slick with olive oil and just enough basil. This boded well for the rest of the meal. The options for wine by the glass were very limited indeed so we ordered a very nicely chilled bottle of Schiava, a light red from the Alto Adige. It went perfectly with both of our main courses of Grilled Whole Orata and Ilario’s Grigliata. My orata while delicious in itself, beautifully cooked and crispy, was not as i had imagined being literally smothered by something that turned out to be a somewhat tasteless Castelvetrano pesto and the fingerling potato « salad » was not a salad by any imagination but partly smashed and whole potatoes cooked to varying degrees of doneness. Serving this dish on a larger plate would be helpful as this one was too small to be able to eat it comfortably.
For the price of $45, the Grigliata should have had more of the accompanying escarole which was barely visible. We therefore ordered a contorno of the cauliflower $17, which while tasty did not merit the price tag. The service was good and attentive.
I left with the feeling that something was missing here, maybe will improve as things go back to normal again.
Lovely experience, amazing Italian food!
Another very good meal, particularly enjoyable after such a long wait through 2020!
I’ve read about Rossoblu in EaterLA, usually a trustworthy source, not this time.
I’m happy the restaurant survived, but 2020 can’t be an excuse for every shortcoming.
The server, the sommelier, and the host were great. Everything else was not.
I could get past the poorly lit, drab, and noisy ambiance of the outdoor seating section if the food was good, but it wasn’t.
Out of the three dishes I’ve ordered, MALTAGLIATI /$24 (pasta) was the worst, the sauce was a combination of burned mushrooms and sweet Saba. It tasted old.
The other two dishes were ok (Ede’s erbazzone / $15 and Roasted cauliflower / $17) but not for the price and I would not choose to have it again.
For an Italian restaurant, the selection of wine, and an especially by-the-glass offering was minimal and not great, most were 3.5 ratings on Vivino.
The location is not in the art district as EaterLA suggests, but closer to Skid Row, which is most disturbing. Homeless tents one block, line of BMWs and Porches the next.
The whole experience for me was symbolic of the dark side of the post-pandemic reality. I will not be coming back.
