Like it, but don’t love it. It’s an Italian restaurant in an industrial space & the design & furnishings don’t quite work. The casually dressed staff don’t add to the impression this is going to a night out to remember either. The food is pretty good & they’ve a decent wine list. But, the biggest problem is the mains don’t come out together so you end up eating separately unless you wait & let your food go cold. In fact I’d finished my tortellini before my wife got started on her dish.

Since this was a charity function to support Armenia, I accepted that the service was slow but we did leave after 3.5 hours after the 3rd course. the fourth and best course was the beef and chicken kabobs with the onion wrap which was wrapped to go. the beef was tender and flavorful. the cookie assortment was delightful. I did enjoy the rigatoni + rabbit ragu+ beans.

Unfortunately they were short staffed in the kitchen so I was told. The owners sold out to a large catering party and didn’t properly plan or care about their dine in customers to get additional kitchen staff to get orders out in a timely manner. I basically waited 2 hours to get a plate of pasta. The server was kind but the situation left a lot to be desired. I was handed a token gift card but I have strong reservations to go back again. What a horrible experience.

This was a winemakers dinner. GREAT MENU, well paired to an interesting slate of Santa Barbara County wines. My only complaints: start time was listed as 6p, and while that was a difficult start time for me, I managed to pull it off. But the event didn't end up starting until after 630p! Not OK. And I would have preferred more of a communal seating set up, in order to be able to discuss the wines, etc.

The food and service…..excellent. We ordered way too much food but everything we did get was amazing….the seafood frito misto, the swordfish…..so so good and cooked perfectly. The service was spot on as well…..timely and friendly. We told the concierge at our hotel, Ritz LA to put it on their list of highly recommended restaurants. The space is pretty incredible as well. Highly recommend.

Eric was an attentive server. The Sausage Rab pizza, Pork Milanese, and Tiramisu were excellent. The cream prosciutto tortellini missed the mark in flavor, by being much too al dente, and for a tiny portion.

This was our second visit - quality of service has definitely gone down. There were 4 of us and we were given a very small table. There was a larger table for 4 which was empty and we asked to move there but were told we could have that table only for an hour, so we declined. The table was unoccupied the whole time we were there - about 2 hours, and we could barely fit our food on our table. Very slow drinks service. Poor selection of desserts

Attended a special Sicilian dinner. What a treat! We loved everything and never realized previously that the cuisine was so varied. It was an education as well as a wonderful dining experience.

very cute place in Market South which most people don’t know about. Husband and wife owners and Steve is the chef. Fresh homemade pasta. Attended the Taste of Italy-Sicily 6 course dinner including 2 glasses of wine for $95 last night, a bargain, especially for a DTLA area restaurant. Went last week to dine LA event also and will continue to eat here. Courtyard surrounded by 4 eating venues. Highly recommended.

Amazing service and delicious food! The lighting was a bit strange and low, so at times, we had to use our cell phone flashlights to see the menu and the details of what was on each dish. But otherwise, fantastic meal.

Rossoblu was the perfect place for my boyfriend’s birthday dinner. From the server to the hostess, they knew it was my boyfriend’s birthday. We started with tuna tar tar. I loved their Tagliatelle dish. And my boyfriend loved the Pork Milanese. They served us complimentary wine toasts and vanilla gelato! We felt like special guests at Rossoblu and can’t wait to go again. Amazing service and cuisine.

I came for my boyfriend's birthday, I wrote it in my reservation note, I put it in as an occasion on open table and on top of it all I called a day in advance to make sure they knew. I was disappointed no birthday candle was brought out with our desert. Thank God my boyfriend has an anxious girlfriend who brought a candle and a lighter just in case such occasion should arise. Besides forgetting my boyfriend's birthday, we ordered the tortellini in crema and the portion was very small for the price. We also ordered the Ragu, which was good for my boyfriend, the pasta was fresca and cooked well. However, (this may just be my personal preference) I found the pasta to be rather too thin for the plate. I almost felt like I was eating the ragu from the pot with no pasta. The best part of this whole experience was the Hazelnut and praline gelato at the end. The portion was massive, and it tasted homemade. Overall if we had not ordered the gelato, I must say that we would both have left hungry... The ambience was stunning, my only request would be real candles!

Pet friendly on the patio. We had the 3 course 2023 fall menu: everything was excellent except the zucchini lasagna which lacked flavor. This menu is also a bit small without extra shareable food. We arrived during happy hour but they told us we couldn’t benefit from it as it was only for people sitting at the bar, unpleasant surprise as it was not clearly indicated.

Rossoblu has been awarded a Bib Gourmand by the Michelin organization fro several years now and it's well deserved. I had seven dishes ranging from the bread service to a roasted fig gelato. Every one of them was plated and served professionally, and each was delicious.

We were sadly disappointed in Rossoblu. It was our first time dining here and we were excited based upon high reviews including being listed as one of the top restaurants in DTLA. The pasta was dry and tasteless. The risotto was overcooked and bland. The salad was overdressed. The service was good but did not make up for the underwhelming meal. I don't think we'll be dining here again and I doubt we'll recommend it to friends.
