Food was great. Service was slow and inconsistent. The restaurant seemed to be understaffed. (In fairness it was a slow Sunday night in the middle of a holiday weekend.) Still overall we had a great evening.
Was expecting Bolognese to die for. Not the best.
Food was outstanding and the service equally wonderful! A great experience overall!
A+ service! Went to celebrate our anniversary. Will def return as it’s one of our favorite restaurants in LA.
We’re very glad to have discovered Rossoblu. Truly excellent food, especially the squash risotto and short ribs. Wine list is about 80% Italian, which we appreciated. The splurge-worthy amarone was worth the price. Ambience is modern and relaxed. Tables are well-spaced. Service is superb, especially if Abigail is your server!
It was awful. The food was mediocre. The service was very average but the kitchen couldn’t get the meal out. The food is meant to be shared but with Covid that’s impossible. Mine came out after everyone else had finished. Totally not worth the money.
Everything was great, but especially the eggplant!
Food server was amazing food was incredible
Hadn't been there since the pandemic arrived. The quality of the food last night was atrocious: the Frito misto was fast food quality, the orata, while fairly tasty, was poorly presented. The crostada had no flavor whatsoever. The GM and the server were attentive, as was the runner. Would definitely not recommend based upon last night's experience.
I think inside would have been too loud if it was fully booked.
Lisa - thank you for your review and feedback. We appreciate it immensely. Best, Hans
One of the best restaurants in LA, time and time again. Hadn't been since before Covid, and this was one of the restaurants we genuinely hoped would withstand the hardships of the pandemic, specifically because everyone we've ever encountered here has been the absolute kindest. The manager and the whole team are so thoughtful and friendly. It's like going for dinner at a friend's house who's excited to prepare the best pasta you will have in LA. Thanks for an incredible night once again. Can't wait to go back.
Great food, wonderful service.
Thank you for your feedback. Please visit us again. Hans
Really really poor service. So bad that this is the first review that I’ve ever left for restaurant. Our waiter was completely distracted and the manager who was walking around did not seem to catch our attempts to get his attention.
Sad because it used to be a favorite.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere.
We had a great meal. Service was great and attentive. We highly recommend it.
Excellent, farm fresh food with unique combinations of flavors that are tasty and not your traditional heavy Italian sauce and cheese dishes. Fresh light pastas.
The food was amazing!
Amazing foods and service!
We had reservations for Dec 29th for six people which was confirmed Dec 13th, and again on Dec28th ( and to which I replied in confirmation) . We arrived at the restaurant prior to 6pm and the restaurant was dark and CLOSED. Some persons inside said we should have received a call. I reviewed my phone, texts, and email and never received any cancellation message. Perhaps staff illnesses contributed??? Don't know, but was very disappointed as was taking out of town family members there for a special dinner and looking forward to a normally wonderful restaurant dining experience. Perhaps in these uncertain times, IF a restaurant suspects possible closure, they might advise patron to recall that day to re-check??
Lauded as one of LA's Top Italian Restaurants, with an Emilian Romagna emphasis, we were looking forward to this dining experience. The attention from the servers was instantaneous. We were told that the experience is a 'tasting' menu to be shared, and that we had to order everything at once and it would come out as prepared. We sat down at 7:00 p.m. and our 7 plate order was delivered by 7:35. Space on the table resembled the real estate market...hard to find. It became clear that the kitchen was operating at a 'fast food' pace. This didn't impact the quality of the food which deserves a high rating. A casual a dining experience, including conversation, delectation of each plate, and sipping our cocktails and wine, were not encouraged. We'll go back the next time we want a fast food experience for $300 + dollars.
Excellent customer service from the host, server Collin and bussers. Gracious, warm, friendly and efficient. Accommodating, too. Enjoyed the beautiful outdoor patio (evening seating). Especially enjoyed the Bread Basket with accompaniments, Valbruna's Eggplant, Baked Fazzoletti and Olive Oil cake. Thank you for a lovely, lovely evening Rossoblu.
Pretty good food but portions a bit too large. Service ok but not excellent.
Great cocktails and wine. Food and service just ok.
Came here for last minute reservation with my wife. The food was fantastic and the service was absolutely impeccable. We are definitely coming back soon!
Every single thing about this restaurant was on point. The Service, the food, the ambiance was sensational.
Highly recommend. The food is wonderful and the service is great.
Family style tasting menu…eggplant, bolognese, hanger steak with cauliflower purée, and a perfect Nebbiolo. Server picked the entire meal which was memorable!
A pleasant Oasis just south of DLTA. Excellent pasta . . . .
I absolutely love this place whenever I have a Italian food craving it hits the damn spot!
The food was delicious but the service was poor.
The food was great however we had to wait 30 minutes past our reservation time to be seated and it would have been ok except it was freezing cold standing & waiting for our table. We were given a huge round table for 5 vs. there was only 3 of us but at that point we didn’t want to have to wait longer for another table so we took the table that was available. It was clearly a really busy night for the restaurant, but it would have been nice to be comp’d a drink or a dessert for standing for so long in the cold.
Pricey but worth it. Delicious and beautiful flavors in every dish we tried.
Excellent service and food
Delicious food, amazing service, love this place and the ambience.
Awesome food and service 👌🏻👌🏻
Excellent meal and amazing service!
Fantastic from beginning to end.
Gorgeous space, attentive, friendly and efficient service, solid cocktails, and …
The Food. Wow. Simple, clean, fresh, delicious. Each dish is as a celebration of its individual ingredients and the beautiful melody they made when combined.
Can’t recommend this place more highly!!
I loved the place and the cocktails, pizza, and service, but the pasta was really odd. Way too sweet. And it had come recommended.
Good wine too. I’d try it again, but i wouldn’t have that Maglia type pasta.
Food and service was great.
We sat outside in their "Covid" covered patio, so the ambiance was really lacking. They have such a beautifully designed interior, that eating outdoors takes away half of the experience. It was a bit noisy, hard to hear conversation at the table, windy and chilly even if the heaters were on.
This was not my first time there, and I will definitely go back, however I will try to sit indoor.
What an experience! We were a table of 6 and all had an exceptional time!
