The food here was very good. We had the bruschetta trio which was delicious. I had the Pappardelle and Short Ribs and that was delicious, albeit a tad bit salty for me, but delicious nonetheless! Will be back.

This restaurant was okay, especially considering how many options you have in downtown Phoenix. Our entrees came out immediately after the appetizers were served...what felt like 2 minutes flat (at least keep it under the warmers guys). Our server felt like he was shaming us for ordering espressos at the beginning of our meal and asking for a lemon peel with the espresson. We were given sparkling water bottles without glasses and NEVER had dishes cleared until we stacked them or asked. The food came out so fast there was abosutley NO WAY it was prepared fresh and either way was subpar. We will not be returning but hope other diners have a better experience then us.

Wonderful service. Whipped ricotta appetizer and fusilloni Rosso were delicious. The papparadelle short rib was disappointing. Tasted like a basic crock pot pot roast with no sauce.

Service is always top notch here! Came before a show for my friends Birthday! Matteo and Donna took great care of us! I love coming to Rosso. I had the chicken saltimbocco and my friend had the steak!!! Amazing! Thank you, Rosso!!!

Very attentive and kind with staff. Delicious food. We were seated close to the kitchen so we were a little warm.

Food was amazing as always but the Service was mediocre and refills were slow. The biggest complaint is the amount of flies on the outside patio, it was unpleasant and unbearable. Other patrons even inside restaurant were complaining. Tough to do a positive business lunch at location when flies are continually flying on food and drinks. Disappointing

Very disappointed with our experience tonight at Rosso. We were looking forward to celebrating our wedding anniversary. They asked if we were celebrating anything when we made our reservation. They never acknowledged it when we were seated. We were seated at a two top when several other couple got seated in nice booths. The music was way too loud and reminded me of a Mexico pool party. We ordered a good bottle of a Super Tuscan. The waiter never topped off the wine or water after the first pour. The bruschetta was excellent. My wife had the house salad and I had a bland Caesar. Five minutes after they delivered the salads they brought our entrees. I called the guy from the kitchen staff (who had delivered the food) over and he acknowledged the problem. He said it was the waiters fault. He said he would take them back and new entrees would be prepared and delivered when we were ready. Fifteen minutes later, he brought back a new plate of gnocchi to me but the same Pork Milanese to my wife. It was so over cooked that she could not cut it with the sharp knife. We called the server over and he offered a different entree of her choice which he brought out promptly. We did not ask for any cost adjustments but the server comped my wife’s entree on the bill We cannot recommend this restaurant.

Cooper was warm and gracious and fun and the perfect server. He made my visit personal and enjoyable before I went to the symphony, and helped to make my visit from Portland memorable.
