Initially, our service was amazing, but overtime the staff forgot about us and did not return until I went to find out where our server had went. Spoiler: she clocked out and did not tell us. Additionally, the AC was broken so it was HOT on a day with an extreme heat warning. Lastly, my food was subpar at best. Wouldn’t recommend!

Pleasant restaurant that doesn’t disappoint. Very good and properly cooked pasta (slightly al dante). Informed service and involved manager (owner ?).

AC was not working, menus were dirty and sticky. Bathroom was also very dirty. Overall, between warm temperature inside and dirty, made a really bad experience in general.

The food was good. I didn’t think of it as outstanding. Also, it was very warm inside the restaurant and when asked the staff about turning the ac down, they said it was already as cold as it goes. Our first server was okay. Then, another server took care of us and it was a bit better. Overall, it was an okay experience, but wouldn’t go back. Based on the high ratings the restaurant has, I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed.

Overall - we really enjoyed this dining experience. Food was amazing. A suggestion - change the music genre to something more appropriate for dining. When we were there on Friday night June 13 at 5:00 pm, the music playing was a techno-club genre - not a good fit in our opinion.

The food here was very good. We had the bruschetta trio which was delicious. I had the Pappardelle and Short Ribs and that was delicious, albeit a tad bit salty for me, but delicious nonetheless! Will be back.

This restaurant was okay, especially considering how many options you have in downtown Phoenix. Our entrees came out immediately after the appetizers were served...what felt like 2 minutes flat (at least keep it under the warmers guys). Our server felt like he was shaming us for ordering espressos at the beginning of our meal and asking for a lemon peel with the espresson. We were given sparkling water bottles without glasses and NEVER had dishes cleared until we stacked them or asked. The food came out so fast there was abosutley NO WAY it was prepared fresh and either way was subpar. We will not be returning but hope other diners have a better experience then us.

Wonderful service. Whipped ricotta appetizer and fusilloni Rosso were delicious. The papparadelle short rib was disappointing. Tasted like a basic crock pot pot roast with no sauce.

Service is always top notch here! Came before a show for my friends Birthday! Matteo and Donna took great care of us! I love coming to Rosso. I had the chicken saltimbocco and my friend had the steak!!! Amazing! Thank you, Rosso!!!
