Love this place! Excellent food from wine and appetizers to desserts, ambiance, and service by Georgia! Wonderful, romantic, little place! Our new favorite Italian restaurant! So glad we discovered it! We'll be back!
Fantastic dinner , food was delicious and great service! Will definitely return.
The food was outstanding from appetizer to desert. We had the rack of lamb special, two veal dishes and a pasta dish. We highly recommend all these dishes. The service was also pleasant and timely.
Authentic Italian food in a lovely place..which also could be somewhere in Italy. You can‘t pick anything wrong in this menu.
We‘re repeating customers..and can‘t wait for our next dinner at this amazing restaurant..Grazie Mille!!
Amazing all around! The absolute best meal I have had in Florida, with very friendly and professional staff. Such a relaxing yet festive atmosphere. We will take all of our guests here! Thank you!
Owners are great food and service terrific Ambiance very nice. We had Lobster ravioli and the Pasta Bolognese both were terrific
A very enjoyable dinner, attentive staff, classic dishes with well chosen wine list. I recommend strongly.
The service was impeccable
I had gluten free pasta and it was perfect along with good gluten free bread
We had wine with our dinner, house wine, and that was very good
The people were over the top with service and very informative of things
Will be going back for sure
Very friendly staff. We really enjoyed our dinners. Not a fancy place but you feel like family when you’re there!
Excellent service. Waitresses were very attentive.
Food was really good but it was way overpriced especially for the small quantity that was served.
First time back in 2 years (due to the pandemic/less travel). The food and service was just as good as we remembered, thankfully! I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on this menu, whether food or wine. And the service is outstanding, too. Don’t let the outside appearance keep you from coming in(looks like it was a fast food place once upon a time)! You’re guaranteed a wonderful dinner!
Consistently delicious meal and great service. Our most favorite Italian restaurant in the area.
Not a memorable dining experience. No ambience. Very brightly lit. The servers were great. Couldn't hear music. Not at all up to the hype that I expected.
Food was superb , staff was amazing , lighting too bright; and we missed the owner preforming .
Happy New Year
A great find for dinner with our friends. Food was excellent and the waitress was attentive and engaging.
Don’t be fooled by the look of the restaurant from the outside. The menu is just the right size, awesome Italian wine selections, and the food prepared perfectly. Our waitress, Melissa was attentive and pleasant. The owners, in attendance were patient with a slightly loud group (cousins together after 5 years). The pricing to us was equal to the quality. We will be back.
We had a wonderful experience. The whole meal was fantastic and our waiter was suburb.
Their holiday menu was much better this year as it was not a Prix fix. You could select from a limited menu that was priced as individual items to meet each guest's appetite. We planned on four courses as it was my husband's 65 birthday and our 21 1/2 anniversary. December 24 is very special to us. We ordered the house white wine which was smooth and dry, exactly what we wanted for our meals. We shared the fried calamari which were incredible. Light and crispy batter with tender meat and a hearty marinara and lemon. Their version of this dish found in many many Italian restaurants and pizzerias was one of the best ever this former chef has had. The "Cesare" salad was ordinary and not well sauced but we ate it awaiting the main courses. Next time we will have one of their other salads as we have found they are really well prepared and worth their higher price. My husband had grilled Black Grouper with broccoli and roasted potatoes - which he polished off and said it was superb. I had the Veal "Lemon Piccata". It had a browned butter caper sauce that was reminiscent of an Italian country kitchen. The sauce was rich and flavorful and the lemon lingered on the back of your palate. No extreme lemon or caper bite to it as they simmered the sauce to the perfect reduction. This recipe was made to grace the luscious veal that melted in your mouth. The lightly mashed potatoes and sautéed zucchini sides went perfectly with the entree. After a birthday candled delicious filled Sicilian cannolo, we shared a second dessert - their amazing Chocolate flourless cake with amaretto sauce and fresh raspberries. It is something not to pass up even though they have other great desserts. One of the best meals we have had here.
Never disappointed with anything from Rossini's. Alot more of a waitstaff, thats a good thing and our waitress was excellant.
Amazing food and exceptional customer service! You are missing out on a great dining experience if you don’t dine at Rossini’s!!
We had reservations but when we approached the building, we almost bailed! It looks like a drive through restaurant. DO NOT BE DETERRED by this, this restaurant is a gem! Go online and look at the menu, it’s fabulous and everything we tried was the best version we’d ever had. We had bruschetta, lobster raviolis, pork butt and pana cotta. Everything was A++
And then there’s the staff…warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. We will go back. Often.
Excellent as always! Rossini's is a real gem in Charlotte County.
Small quaint Italian restaurant. Extremely pleasing interior decore. True Italian quisiene. Exceptional food.
Not at all what I was expecting, unfortunately.
Don’t be fooled by the drive through, this is exclusive fine dining. My new favorite when visiting the area.
A most enjoyable dinner! Wonderful hidden gem in Port Charlotte. Everything was delicious. Chef made special accommodation requests. My husband's swordfish was exceptional. We look forward to visiting again.
Great food as usual, Dario is a master chef! Raina is a fantastic waitress, very attentive, great athomsphere, you feel like family,a must try is everything! But my husband loves osso Bocco .
Wonderful meal as always! Chef Dario is outstanding!
A hidden gem. Awesome food and service.
We had an amazing night enjoying fabulous cuisine ~ delicious❣️
Chef Dario is an exceptional chef! My salmon was unbelievable, my husband had pasta with rapini and clams, also unbelievable everything I have had here is fantastic, authentic Italian, it’s very family oriented everyone is nice and welcoming, Shiela Dario’s wife is very sweet and welcoming, and our waitress Raina, is excellent, very attentive. Totally recommend this place once you try this place you will be going back for more!
Authentic Italian food. Owner checked on us several times. Lovely evening!
Best Osso Buco in town, any town. Excellent wine list with lots of top shelf italian wine. The service is attentive and sometimes entertaining. This is easily the best restaurant in Port Charlotte.
Great place! Restaurant owner is also the chef and he came by to say hi to our table during the meal. Meals were a bit on the pricier side but the ambiance and service was top notch.
We were there last year and was looking forward to our meal and having guitar and Italian singing by the staff.
We found out that the person who was there last year is no longer with them. So disappointed! He really made our dining experience entertaining and fun!
The food was ok. What was the turn off for our evening was the waitress we had. She was very rude and condescending to me and my guests. She told me to be quiet and wait till she was finished talking! I have never been treated that way in a restaurant ever! She may have thought she was funny but it made all of us at the table very uncomfortable. We will probably not be back there for dinner. Or if we do will request someone other than her to wait on us.
Excellent, authentic Italian food cooked perfectly and served with flair!
We were actually quite surprised by the high ratings this place has it was ok but not great. It was also overpriced and the waitress got my dessert order wrong and then tried to argue that I didn’t order what I actually did. She needs to learn the menu and listen. We won’t be back!
This was our second time there and they did not disappoint. We started with calamari again and it was as good this time. I had the cannelloni this time and it was wonderful. I had extended family with me so we were a group of 6, everyone had a different entree and all were very good. My niece had gluten free pasta and said it was also very good. She’s been gluten free for years and has a lot of pasta meals to compare it to (anyone who’s eats gluten free knows not all gluten free foods taste good). We’re looking forward to our next visit!
Food = excellent. We started with the fried calamari, tender and delicious. Salads were fresh, crisp, and dressings were flavorful. My husband had the veal osso bucco and said it was tender and tasted great. I had the linguini and clams – the clams were cooked perfectly, as was the pasta. It was delicious. My husband had the gelato, which I of course tasted, and it was rich and decadent as gelato should be. I had the panna cotta with berries sauce – I was in heaven! We can’t wait to go back!
Chef Dario never fails to make every meal delicious! Everything from appetizers to entrees to desserts all great every time! Great wine list too, from all over Italy, totally recommend.
