Rosella at the Rand
Food was too salty. Not many options on the menu. Very disappointing.
Second time having brunch after visiting 3 weeks earlier for bruch. Initial visit was a 5 star visit, food, service, music (Joe Posada). Second visit was a bust....sent my dried chicken breast back, received a replacement (also poor but paid for). Took over an hour to be served brunch (party of 6) and over an hour and 1/2 to get 3 drinks. Although music was once again pleasant and enjoyable, the food, service, and "Attitude" was a bust. I would only recommend again if they had a complete staff turnover. We dined 9-1-19.
I never write this type of review....just positive reviews. This brunch experience was just the worst.........
A wonderful breakfast with live jazz. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the ambiance was inviting. The food was delicious and the service excellent. A great place to have brunch in San Antonio.
We attended the Jazz Sunday Brunch which was lovely! They have a full bar (Bloody Mary’s were excellent), wonderful live music (not loud), good food and the service was great! I had fried chicken (little dry but good) and waffle. You get 3 hour free parking in the parking garage next door but the process is confusing. The wait staff can explain. Glad we came, we’ll be back!
Excellent food, service, ambience and music. Music got a bit too loud and had to shout to be heard across the table. Otherwise it was a great experience.
We received a gift card to Rosella at the Rand from friends. What a great find for us and a wonderful Sunday morning brunch! The food was delicious and it was so much fun dining while listening to an awesome jazz combo. We will definitely be back!
Service was very slow, but the food was great. Jazz band for Sunday brunch was good, but too loud. Good inner city vibe, and I suspect we’ll return, but I’ll be a little more demanding with the service. They also wouldn’t seat us until half the party was there, even though we had reservations.
We went for brunch on Father’s Day. They only had about 8 items on the menu. It took way to long to be talked to and to take our order. The waitress didn’t write down our order, and then came back again to ask us what we ordered. They then said that they ran out of potatoes and chicken. That left only a few things left on the menu. She got our order wrong but we didn’t have anymore patience to tell her to fix the order. She acted as though she hated her job and didn’t even say Happy Father’s Day. Horrible overall experience and we’ll never go back. Take this off your list Open Table!!
As always, the food and the service were excellent. I’ve been there many times with my mother, and couldn’t think of a better place to bring my husband for Father’s Day brunch. He loved it, and we’ll definitely be back! We had the chicken and waffles and the steak and egg special and both were delicious.
Fathers Day Jazz Brunch— fabulous meal and ambiance!
I would not recommend the parking garage--it was a nightmare to get in AND get out! The validated ticket did not work & system asked for my CC again. Had to contact help & they were not clear at all.
Everything was perfect! Delicious meal, gorgeous restaurant and perfect service. Our waiter was exceptional! Can’t wait to go back.
Good people watching venue while having a meal. Food was good and service was good as well.
Mother’s Day brunch
First time visit: good cocktails at happy hour prices; good service and nice selection of appetizers and small plates; liked the setting. Will definitely be back!
