They have the best eggplant Parmesan. Their portions are huge. My husband and I shared it and it was perfect. It was a beautiful evening and we sat outside . Wonderful way to take advantage of the weather before it gets too cold to sit outside.

Terrific food and service at Rosebud, but we really do not like that the tables are so close together. This visit, my husbands chair was in the walking aisle and it made him very uncomfortable.

If you have ever been to Rosebud downtown or the old one in Highland Park, this one does not measure up. The food is still good, but that's where the comparison ends. The dining room is very noisy. Hard surfaces everywhere so you hear lots of clatter, and conversation is at an escalated level. The tables are very close together, so you hear it all. We were graced with a couple of neighboring tables with squalling babies, but of course that's not the fault of the restaurant. Loud though. My husband and I had to raise our voices just to talk to each other over dinner. Service was adequate but perfunctory and not exactly welcoming. When we wanted to order a second glass of wine, we had to signal to our server who was standing at the next table having a lengthy chat with people that were either friends or regulars. Fortunately the food was as good as we remembered. Kudos to the kitchen but nothing else. None of the ambiance, class and welcoming atmosphere of their previous restaurants. Seems like they are riding the coattails of the original reputation. We will not go back. Adding a P. S. -- There is a patio that might be a better experience, but they don't take reservations out there. Go early if you want to try that.

The food is very good. The staff and management could not be more professional and engaging. They make you feel as if you’re dining with family. My family has been going there every Sunday for years. In my opinion, the owner has unfortunately been greedy since the pandemic. Lots of restaurants have used and continue to use this as an excuse to raise prices. They continue to test us, (the consumer) until we simply say. Enough is enough. Prices have been raised several times. It’s way over priced in my opinion. Skirt steak comes in at $50. Brick chicken is almost $40. Which is crazy. I will go to Morton’s or Ruth Chris on a special occasion and pay $15 more for a aged superior cut of meat. The bill with tip was $260 for 3 of my boys and myself. We only had water to drink. Again, I can’t say enough about Dee and Coco at Rosebud. It saddens me that I won’t see them as much moving forward. I may pop in, once in a blue moon and split the chicken and a salad with my son. They are the only two people that give me a reason or desire to choose Rosebud in the future. If you don’t mind the cost of a meal at Rosebud. It definitely delivers a good experience.

It was decent, nothing special. A little pricey for okay food. The place wasn’t busy when we went but food still took awhile. Seen a lot of take out orders though. Ordered the halibut which was almost $50, rigatoni pasta and a side of 2 meatballs for $20 (they don’t have a kids menu).

Rosebud is always top notch when it comes to service and food quality. Our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable and patient. I always go home with leftovers as the portions are generous.

Lovely dinner on the patio with a great server named Sarah. Linguini and clams served both ways were great. All staff were very attentive. Very nice and quiet patio- highly recommend as it’s my second time this summer.

I was disappointed in the food. The bread sticks were stale. The spaghetti prima Vera was skimpy on the spaghetti with an excess of veggies. Not enough of the pasta when sharing the dish. The brick chicken was extremely salty as was the broccolini on top. The eggplant salad was good.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. We both had pasta dishes that were very good, came hot and a nice portion. Caesar salad was very good and big enough to split. Service was fast and friendly.

My husband ordered some type of stuffed chicken. Halfway through he realized his chicken was completely raw in the center. We both immediately lost our appetite. The waitress just wiped it off the bill, we asked for chicken Alfredo to go. We expected it to be on the house but nope we had to pay for that. No manager ever came to apologize. We come here often and love the place but this time we were so disappointed at the service we received. My husband was sick all night and morning because of this

our meal came very shortly after our appetizers were delivered to our table even though the menu said the chicken we ordered takes 35 minutes. We felt very rushed as we didn't want our meal to get cold. In addition, we had a very small table and there wasn't even room for all the dishes. Very disappointing.

The food was excellent and portions were generous, but the service was mediocre. Despite have made a reservation, we still had to wait 10 to 15 minutes (which was fine, but the manager seemed unfazed). The waiter seemed to “forget” about one of the drinks, but also one of the entrees. The net result, a rather forgettable birthday dinner with family, and from the manager a pizza to go…

Large portions, very good food. I find the noise level high enough to interfere with conversation. Prices seem to have increased recently. One of our party had sea bass piccata, which he very much enjoyed, but which was priced at $54. Rosebud is not the same value as it used to be.

Server was MIA- didn’t do 2 bite or 2 minute check after food was delivered. Had to ask the busser to get the check from the server. We ordered garlic knots- to our surprise they had been 86’d. Ordered the arincini instead and the filling was pasty and mealy.

Food took over one hour. Manager had an attitude when we asked to speak to him. We were told that the kitchen made the wrong dish. Once the food arrived, it was delicious. The manager stepped up and comped the meal.

We ate outside on the patio and it was a beautiful night. We had a wonderful server, sweet woman, and the food was great. It was perfect for a birthday celebration with girlfriends. We had halibut, chopped salad and eggplant Parmesan. Their marinara sauce is really fresh and light, perfect for a summer night.
