Our waitress was very polite and attentive. We went for steak night set menu and was pleasantly surprised that the quality of the steak was very good. The decor is a little outdated

Beautiful old worldly venue. Great food & wonderful service. We had the Thursday night Steak special. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

A lovely place to dine. Atmosphere was so nice, and quiet, so we could hear eachother talk. Service was excellent. Food was great for some patrons, but not so for others.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The steak night 3 course meal was really great value and steak was delicious! Thoughly enjoyed trying the venue for the first time. The ambience was warm and inviting and we hope to come back often and also enjoy the outdoor area in summer.

Lovely Sunday lunch. Quiet, so was able to hear people sitting at our table of 6. Not packed in with tables. Food was good, and the staff very friendly.

We selected the Christmas ham and turkey for main and was disappointed to find that it wasn’t proper roast turkey but pressed turkey slices, no roast potatoes or pumpkin (2 chat potatoes) the stuffing was just dry crumb. Overall not what we expected.

Entree and dessert of steak night were ok but steak outstanding. Gorgeous setting but inside a bit dated. Will definitely return.
