   I came here for afternoon tea and it was delicious. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were so nice and caring!

   Could not fault anything. Very warm welcome, peaceful setting, absolutely amazing Afternoon tea!! Nothing too much trouble. Away from the busy centre - 5 min walk. Would definitely recommend!! Thank you

   Wow 🤩 we had such a great experience today. We went for a Mother’s Day afternoon tea and it’s was fabulous!! From the minute we walked in we were warmly greeted. The restaurant is so nice and boutique. The food was delicious and the staff were brilliant! We really felt spoilt. 😊

   We had a lovely afternoon tea - more than enough great food which catered well for our pescatarian requirements. Excellent service and very friendly

   Having booked to see a show in Bath we decided to stay at the Roseate villa as a treat! We were not disappointed- lovely afternoon tea with a cheeky cocktail followed by a delicious breakfast the next day! We couldn’t fault the service - friendly but professional and shout out to Kim for his engaging personality and great service!

   Really nice venue, and excellent service, we had the vegan options, food was to a good standard but average taste, but we do fine this a lot as a vegans. We are a minority so food isn’t always the best with minimal options.

   Bad experience due to the rude manager who soured the experience. Worst afternoon tea we have had. Booked via open table for afternoon tea- menu on website said 38£ each. The menu we were given said £38 each. We were charged £42 each and when we pointed out the mistake were told that this is because we were given a "festive" afternoon tea that we never asked for, was not shown on the menu and were not told about in advance. When we complained that we were not informed of the extra price we were told rudely by the arrogant manager that it said so on the open table app so we had to pay. There was not a word of apology. We also paid a service charge. The waiter was courteous and friendly, but the service was slow, certain things were not brought as you would expect throughout despite few people there, and we were told the wrong information for what was in some of the sandwiches and desserts. So overall we paid £94 and the food itself was also low quality for this price. It used cheap supermarket bread, and overall lacked flavour.

   We went for high tea to the Roseate Villa. It was everything you would want from a high tea experience. Beautiful villa and beautiful dining room looking out over the garden. Delicious high tea and gorgeously presented. We enjoyed this thoroughly. It was the right choice to experience a British high tea.

    Thank you for a lovely afternoon tea! The staff were amazing, the ambiance peaceful and the food an absolute delight. I’d come back for another special occasion in a hearbeat!
