WAY BELOW PAR.... On Open Table the restaurant reads "Rosaria's Italian Kitchen Restaurant" but the name on the actual building is "Rosaria's Italian & Pizza" which definitely describes it better in terms of the ambiance. Inside is very much a "pizza shop" vs a fine dine experience and the food was horrible!! We live in Alpharetta but chose this restaurant because it was close to where our son lives. He graduated from KSU that morning. We went to First Watch for brunch and then booked this restaurant for his graduation dinner. I went to Open Table to look for restaurants near KSU and saw Rosaria's Italian Kitchen Restaurant. I looked at all the nice photos that were posted, I noticed none of them showed the interior but I regretfully ignored that. We ordered drinks, Maker's Mark Old Fashion for my husband which didn't taste like Maker's Mark Old Fashion at all. The calamari was pitiful looking (large round rings) and rubbery, the soup was cold and tasteless, the chicken wings were embarrassing (dry and white looking). We already had put in our dinner order but once we saw the appetizers (which was now on the table along with drinks), we told the waitress to cancel the dinner. We asked for the check, paid the bill ($85 + tip... we knew it wasn't the waitress fault) and left with the drinks and apps untouched. We ended up going to Crispina. The ambiance was more of what we were looking for as well as the quality and taste of the food. Thankfully my son's graduation dinner was salvaged and ended as a great evening.

Service moved at a glacial speed, even though they were only at about 1/3 capacity. We walked in with children, but were seated with adult menus. Server said she did not know if they had children’s menus, went to check and did not come back. (We snagged the hostess later and she brought us some.). Took them 15-20 minutes to open a bottle of wine and bring it over. Some food was hot, other food was COLD. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo was DROWNING in the cheese sauce, like it was a soup with noddles and chicken in it - disgusting. The red sauce was wholly unremarkable, probably came straight out of a can. My son ordered a burger but they said (after 45 minutes) that they had run out of buns. ONLY plus: apparently the burger was good even without the bun! Sad that a burger is the best thing about an Italian restaurant.

I cannot imagine how they will survive.

We have been here several times. This was our Anniversary. If it had been the first time it would have been the last. My husband food was cold. They tried to heat it up and it was still cold. I had finished eating so we took his home. Should the cooks be wearing masks?

Nice place. Out of the way. Easy to miss if you don’t know where it is.

Not fond of 20% auto charged gratuity. Leave that decision to me. I’ll typically leave a bit more.

I was concerned about the social distancing. There wasn't alot of social distancing in the space and not alot of covid protocol.

If you are having a bad day, you check on your patrons. If you can't cook pasta, get out of the kitchen - 16 years of visiting this establishment, first time we have ever asked for a manager due to cold food arriving after 90 minutes - stuffed shells and chicken alfredo, meal was comped, but that doesn't make up for it. Water-downed drinks, over cooked appetizer, seriously, I don't know what happened and you can have a bad day, but won't be going back - took 30 minutes to get a water. And it was Valentine's Day weekend...

I’ve heard good things about this restaurant so we were quite disappointed with our experience here recently. The server did say something about new ownership so maybe that’s the difference. I’m sorry but we’ll not be dining here again.

Rosaria’s was always our go to restaurant for special occasions, especially the Chicken Marsala. I tried it right after the new owners took over with a group of ladies. We were so disappointed in our favorite dish. Ok, so I gave them a few months to get it right. My husband and I tried it again for Valentines Day. I am so disappointed. I try Chicken Marsala at every Italian Restaurant and no one can come close to Rosaria’s. Even my daughter-in-law, a chef in Seattle, could not make that dish like Rosaria’s. It is gone with the wind! Sorry, Rosaria’s your Chicken Marsala does not compare to the old recipe. Not worth it to go back.

It is like a home style dinner. My veal however was hit too many times and it was rubbery as well as nothing to eat.

My daughter celebrated her 12th birthday with friends and yummy pizza. The staff was so kind and even participated in birthday fun. Such a special lunch with a bunch of giggling girls and fabulous food. Thanks for making it a happy birthday!

The positive part of this experience pretty much started and finished when we arrived and the table was reserved with our name on it. That was a nice touch. However then it took us at least 20 minutes to put in a drink order, and when we finally got our food order in sometime later it took ages to come out. The rest of my party enjoyed their meal but mine was put in incorrectly, we were overcharged and it wasn’t even good. Highly disappointed.

We had 12 people in our party on a very crowded Friday night. Everything worked out fine. We were able to talk to one and other in the party and everyone loved their food, drinks and service. This is a good place for a large party to have dinner.

Good Italian food at a value price. The lasagna is one of my favorites. I always order their soup. The tomato basil and the minestrone are both excellent. I have ordered most items on the menu and haven’t had anything that I wouldn’t order again.

My husband enjoyed his chicken parmigiana a great deal although it is very spicy. I was surprised that my chicken with artichoke dish was spicy as well. I don't eat any spice so it was hard to enjoy. The tiramisu was amazing! We will definitely return. We will, however, be more aware of asking which dishes are spicy.

We went last week, and it was the first time in about 6 years. We won't be back. The air conditioning was broken, so ti was quite hot. It took 15 minutes for our waitress to come to us. We eventually got our salads (no drinks), and when I asked for drinks, she said she would bring them out after she shot herself. She said this in front of my 12 and 11 year old. At then end of my meal, she lost my credit card and was searching the floor restaurant for it.

The food was mediocre and the pasta was not fresh at all. Won't be back.

Food was good not great. Shrimp scampi had too much onion in sauce. Veal Parmesan was better. First time. Will try again.

Amazing new recipes are flying out of the kitchen! Flavors I would have never imagined to be paired, simply WOWed us! Plus, the staple pizza is fantastic as always. Love the simple changes that are being made.

I enjoy seeing all the changes the new owner is making from some of the specials to a new coat of paint. Our meal was great. I'm usually the kind of person that has the same meal every time I go to a place. There are so many dishes I want to try here, that I have something different each time I visit.
