Awesome. Great service and food
Joe and Linda are marvelous hosts. Truly a quaint and authentic family restaurant geared toward pleasing the pallet. Would do it again in a heartbeat
We didn't know exactly what to expect and definitely had a great dinner. First off, there is no valet parking, we were lucky that there meters just down the street a little so no issue for us. Big too, sit upstairs, it is quiet and no worries about cold air coming on. Our waiter was great and the wine is priced reasonably. We have the fried ravioli, very good but be aware it is not St Louis style. The Fried Spaghetti was very good and the Gnocchi was good as well. The portions are very big so you don't leave hungry, definitely a good place if you are going to see something at the United Center
Our favorite in the Chicago area for more than 3 decades!
First time here and we will be back! We all loved it!
amazing ! truly authentic. we came in right has they opened. in fact 5 min before. they opened the door for us right away and didnt make us wait in the cold. kitxhen is super tiny but the food tht comes outnof there is truly authentic and you get a ton for the price u pay! the bread was cruchy on the outside soft on the inside . perfecto
Best place in Little Italy. I've been going for years!
Everything was fantastic!!!!
Had a great time, food, drink atmosphere was just great!!
One of the best Italian restaurants in Chicago. Huge selection of food.
The owner Joe is always so friendly and down to earth. Food is good. Good service too. I ordered the veal stepanjohnno.
Food was no good and not evenly remotely authentic Italian. Expectations were way too high heading in.
I’ve been going to RoSal’s for over 8 years and have yet to be disappointed once. The owner/chef is very personable and takes pride in his dishes which is why I continue to come back time and time again. Perfect for date night or dinner with friends.
We had a wonderful meal with appetizers and good selection of wine. Service was very good and food was excellent.
Always excellent. Delicious authentic Italian food in Chicago’s Little Italy. Family owned restaurant is quaint & charming. Great value. Large portions are perfect to share.
Unbelievablely fabulous desserts - so best to leave room for afternoon treat.
Friendly service with fantastic food. They treat you like family. Red sauce and white sauce are unique and perfect. If you want a special ingredient, you simply ask and they will make substitutions. Fried Ravioli appetizer is incredible.
We rave about the food and service EVERY TIME we go there.
Outstanding, as usual
Best Italian restaurant in Chicago. Always greeted and treated as one of the family. The food is amazing....so many favorites....shrimp ala Anival, rigatoni gambini, portabella chicken. Don't even get me started on the fried ravioli appetizer, I dream about it!
Great place, I've brought so many friends and business colleagues here. It truly is a gem of a place in the "heart" of Little Italy <3
Rosals is a hidden gem that several people THANK me time and time again each time i take them there. Food is worth the wait , appetizers are great portions and you never leave hungry. Joe the owner greets everybody properly and makes sure you are happy , satisfied as you leave. Reservations for big groups are recommended , parking is simple , leave room for dessert and you will be happy you went!
Outstanding experience all around.
My wife and I drive a Long way to Rosals and it is so worth it. If there was a way to give it 6 stars I would .
Great stop prior to a Hawks game or anything else at the United Center. Quality food and nice people. Very cozy atmosphere.
Went there prior to Blackhawks game because of it's convenience to location. First issue was that the website says valet parking on weekends but none was available so I needed to find a spot in a permit neighborhood ( i parked illegally). We ended up seated upstairs which is a nice room with a converted house feel, downstairs looked to be more regulars and maybe more festive. It is an interesting menu with a little different than typical Italian. Fried ravioli totally different than what I expected but sauce was really good. We all had pasta, and my fried spaghetti was very good. Lasagna was also very good. Service was slow at times and appears waiter was solo up stairs. In all a good find but not sure I will hurry back since there are plenty of Italian spots nearby.
Great italian restaurant. Food delicious every time
It was a great experience and the food was excellent
Another amazing meal at Rosals!
Consistently great food & warm, wonderful staff. I love this place!
We have not been to RoSal's since they remodeled. The place looks great! The menu and food are still authentic and reminds us of dinner at Nana's. Will keep coming back!
Great home style Italian restaurant that consistently puts out very good food. You must try the Limincello parfait dessert. A perfect light note to finish a tasty, but very filling meal!
This place was phenomenal! I arrived fifteen minutes late and wasn't aware they would be closing at 10pm. Instead of being rude, the waitress was one of the nicest waitresses. She was super sweet and knew all about the restaraunt. I would definitely go there again, next time we'll be on time.
Food was awesome, cozy dining and nice the owner/chef stops by to see how you are enjoying the food. Cannot wait to go back!
Ryan our server, was the best. He anticipated our needs without being asked. He was very polite and courteous. I will definitely return as the coffee was the best I have had, far better than Starbucks.
Waiter and food were great but we had a 6:00 reservation and were not seated til almost 6:30.
The food here is always delicious! Service was a bit slow this time, but is usually top notch.
RoSals's always delivers. The food is excellent and they treat everyone like family.
Dinner after seeing Wicked. Food was excellent as was the service. Great authentic Italian. Would come back for sure.
Very good experience! Loved the authentic food!
Food was excellent but god was the service slow. I wanted to love everything about the place but the service forced us to reschedule some plans we had made for the evening.
Rosal's never disappoints! The fried ravioli is a must, and everything that follows is equally delicious. The wait staff and kitchen staff are attentive to every need, dietary concern and will make your dinner an unforgettable experience. Have bee dining here with friends for the holidays for 20 years....love it!
Excellent food, nice size portions and friendly service.
Perfect old school Italian place. Don’t skip the grilled calamari. The best I ever had!
We had dinner on a weeknight prior to a concert at the United Center.
Excellent service, from attentive wait staff and busboys to a great wine recommendation. The restaurant had the warm atmosphere of a friendly neighborhood gathering place.
Our dinner was excellent (Fried Spaghetti with shrimp) Will definitely will be back whenever visiting Chicago.
