We have been walking past Rosalina’s for years and finally decided to try it. All I can say is we wish we had started going years ago! The place is fantastic! It’s such a bustling friendly place and the food is great! The tables are close together so be prepared to be chummy with your fellow diners! Just gives you an opportunity to make new friends! It’s our new favorite place to go before shows at PPAC, Trinity or the Dunk or just a night out in Providence
excellent food and service. eggplant appetizer is excellent. Polenta dinner was great too.
First meal at Rosalina. Had heard good reviews and were not disappointed. Food was terrific. Staff was very friendly
Will definitely be back with friends
Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Went to Trinity and was able to valet my car and pick it up after the show. Very tight fit in-between tables - close to the next party. Downside to a small restaurant. Overall - excellent and would highly recommend Rosalina!
This is a great restaurant and the food is outstanding.
The food was delicious. This is an adorable restaurant with a cozy bar.
We went here for a girls dinner for a bachelorette weekend. We LOVED it. Amazing staff! Amazing food! There wasn’t a single thing we ordered we didn’t love!
Wonderful first time experience. The server was attentive and the food was excellent
Great server, a little too al dente on my dish though my husbands pasta was perfect. They cram you in there...6” in between each table is not the optimal. Also, their table bread is a bummer. Nice touch with the fresh ricotta but I’d trade that for a better quality bread.
Great service and wonderful food. Tables are a bit close to one another is the only thing I did not care for.
The food server was very friendly and efficient... maybe too efficient. We wanted to relax a bit between corses and we were zipped out of there in record time.
Wonderful spot for dinner before going to PPAC for a show. The food was delicious and our waiter did a fine job. We very much enjoyed our meals and will go back.
The ravioli and Meatballs are the best!
Service was attentive & knowledgable. Realized after another party was seated next to us that she forgot to inform us of the specials though (that night it was chicken & veal parm). Shared the salad with avocado which was SO good and the selection of tomatoes were perfect. I asked if they sold the dressing it was so enjoyable! Had the eggplant appetizer that was more than enough as an entree. Very hot as it's baked in a small cast iron dish. Delicious. Was tasty, but slightly salty for my palate. I don't recall what brand of Pinot Grigio I enjoyed, but it was very good. Was too full for dessert. Appreciated the art on the walls, large B&W images probably circa the 50s, that made me reminiscent of similar experiences & photographs with our family. Not a big place but we were there midweek on a very rainy night so it wasn't busy. Valet parking is convenient. We were going to the Strand to hear a concert after dinner and the Valet accommodated us by parking near a lot not very far from the Strand & giving us our keys & the cars location, so we didn't need to be concerned about finding other parking to go to the Strand :). Would HIGHLY recommend and we'll certainly return!
The only thing we didn't like was that the tables are too close together. We right on top of the people sitting next to us.
The food was delicious, ambiance was lovely and the service was fantastic.
Food was delicious, service great, valet parking, but the table wobbled, and it was so loud (other patrons screaming), that I couldn’t have a conversation with my husband.
I have dined at Rosalina before and had a great experience. The food is delicious and the ambiance is intimate and cozy. Because of this I decided to bring my boyfriend here for his birthday. In my reservation I noted that we were dining there for a birthday. I wanted to leave instructions for the dessert I wanted to have brought out after dinner, but there dessert menu is not available online. I called the next day and made arrangements to have tiramisu brought out with a candle. When we arrived that Friday for the reservation, the hostess said she had a table for us but it would be "tight" and wanted to know if we preferred to sit at the bar. Obviously we did not because this was a special occasion, so we chose to sit at a very cramped table where we were basically dining with the two parties next to us. We had to move the table to one side or the other for us to even get in our out of the seats. The diners to our right were awful (not the restaurant's fault) and complained about everything, and we could hear every word because we were practically sharing a table with them. The food was good per usual, and the service was ok, but instead of bringing the dessert I had pre-ordered, the waitress asked if we wanted dessert and listed off the options. My boyfriend declined dessert (as I assumed he would since I was paying) and I had to convince him to share the tiramisu. It was brought out without a candle or any acknowledgement we were celebrating a birthday. Overall Rosalina is a nice little Italian restaurant (if you don't mind sitting really close to your fellow diners), but probably not a great place to celebrate a special occasion.
Food was delicious! Great staff will absolutely be back again for another great date night!
The wait staff was a bit overwhelmed with the number of tables/people.... caused a little lull in service. Hey
We love the resturant and go regularly. Service was excellent and food arrived hot and well prepared.
Burrata Cheese Ravioli and home made meatballs were delicious!
Everything was wonderful from food to cocktails to service! Consistently good quality food and great attention to presentation. Happy to go back
Food was great, service was very good. Biggest issue was the ventilation. I’m not sure if my eyes were too sensitive, although it’s never happened before, or what, but the smokiness of the resturant was almost unbearable. Ruined what was great food. They have an open kitchen which is usually fine for me, but it seemed like their ventilation was down or something because I couldn’t get away from the smoke. Still great food. Chicken Parm was amazing. The sausage and peppers were delicious. The Gnocchi dish with butter was good, but had a little too much butter. Would try again. Maybe it was just me or just an off night.
Everyone at the restaurant was wonderful. We had requested a quiet corner table when we made the reservation, and they accommodated us. The waiter service was outstanding. The food was excellent. It was an all-around great experience.
As usual dinner was delicious. Quiet night but dinner was outstanding as was the service. One of our favorite restaurants .
We had an amazing experience! Our waitress, Kylie was outstanding, knowledgable, very friendly, and professional. We can’t wait to go back for more!
We have never been disappointed with our visits to Rosalina. We have recommended it to others who love great food.
This was our first visit to Rosalina - recommended by our son. We enjoyed the food and service. my only disappointment was the lighting to read the menu.
Food was amazing get the eggplant get the ravioli you won't be disappointed
The service was prompt and our server was more than accommodating and friendly. They were packed, but the food came out quick. Everything from the appetizer to the entree and even dessert were delicious and a good portion. We'll definitely be returning.
Very good food. Close to trinity rep. Tables are a bit small and tight together but the food and cocktails were stellar. Would go back again and often.
Staff was very attentive and made suggestions about items on the menu. Good wine menu. Portions were substantial and food was very good. A great place to go to before the theatre.
Wonderful server (wish I remembered his name—great sense of humor) and delicious food!
We thoroughly enjoyed dining at Rosalina’s. There were seven of us in our party but our server was attentive to all informative and extremely efficient.
We had an early reservation because we were attending an early concert in the City. Our server was aware and made sure we were not rushed yet finished in plenty of time to get to our concert.
A wonderful dining experience for sure!
It was a nice place, the atmosphere was nice, a little loud and the lighting to dark, big group was dining when we visited so we felt like may the kitchen was overwhelmed and that the food was rushed when finally servers. The server was great and friendly.
