This is my fourth experience dining at Rosalie's and it was terrific. First time was end of COVID19 and on the porch. Second time was in the booth area. Third time was back on the porch for lunch and last night in the back room. Each area has a different vibe and I like them all. Almost feels like four different restaurants!
Our pasta was delicious as was a pizza and a tasty local cheese plate. The drinks are festive and yummy. Our waitress was lovely, prompt and professional.
We'll be back! MJ Hurley Brant
Service was very very slow . Our reservation was 6:30 and it was almost 8 and we had only an appetizer and had waited at least 30 minutes for our drinks.
My mezzaluna entree was small one bite ravioli and $23.
I found the food good but tiny portions, over priced and long waits for food and drinks.
It is a gorgeous hotel and old but not the greatest for dining.
Hi we love this place. but we need to share feedback
the service was not very attentive, our water glasses stayed empty most of the time.
the appetizers namely the cheeseboard could use more crackers or bread. the cheeses were delicious.
the branzino was wonderful but it needs to have a side, like a potato or such? those who ate fish were left picking off ohters plates b/c they did not get enough.
the desserts came out without our order of coffee.
BUT the food is delicious. Service was not quite what it should be for a venue of this caliber.
Great food and everything was nice
Honestly, the experience was disappointing. Not bad, but not as good as expected. Perhaps it was because it was Mother's Day (traditionally one of the top dining out days on the calendar, ) but I personally had a "flat" feeling overall and there was "not enough bang for the buck." I would hesitate to recommend it, and am ambivalent about whether I would make a return visit.
Went here for dinner on Mother’s Day. Great atmosphere & our server was very sweet. Food took a bit to came out but I understand it was a holiday with bigger parties. The food is always delicious.
Delicious food! Very relaxing, no pressure service.
The service was very good but the food is the draw, top notch, consistently good.
I took my mom to a Mother’s Day lunch here and it was superb. Our server, Alex, was extremely knowledgeable and offered suggestions for our meal and wine. We enjoyed the branzino and the gnocchi and some dessert. We can’t wait to return!!
We went for the family brunch and it was delicious! The restaurant staff was great and the restaurant has a nice ambiance.
Came in for Mother's Day brunch with just my wife (pregnant) and I. Beautiful place and very comfortable. Food was very good. Ordered the Roasted Beets, Biscuit, Spaghetti, & Americano. Beet Salad was very tasty and light. Was expecting the biscuit to be warm but it was room temperature. Still very good. The Americano is a classic breakfast that was very good. Eggs were some of the best I have had and the potatoes were cooked very well. Bacon was a bit soggy but still tasty. The Spaghetti tasted like Pho which was not what we were expecting. We love Pho but not what we expected for an Italian restaurant. Still good but if you do not like Pho, don't order it.
Waiting service could be better as it seemed like they were not very pleasant and we felt like they were rushing us out of there even though there were plenty of open tables for a Mother's Day.
Overall, a great place. I would come back for sure and try out the other items on the menu.
We are so happy to have Rosalie nearby in town! It is a beautiful setting and we love the patio seating. The service is very attentive and the atmosphere relaxing and casual. The food is delicious and a welcome new change to the neighborhood. We will keep going back!
Service and ambiance was terrific! Our family had a good time but just wished there were more options for brunch and a a la carte for eggs. Otherwise, excellent place.
Ambiance and service are lovely. Food at brunch was quite mediocre. They shouldn’t advertise Sunday brunch unless they have more brunch items on the menu and don’t eat the bacon. Close to shoe leather consistency.
We love Rosalie and I have recommended it many times. Last night was not up to the standards we are used to there. It took a long time to have our drink order taken. When it was finally taken, we asked to have the marinated olives and nuts with our cocktail (which we have done in the past). We were told no (!) that we had to order everything at once and don’t worry the chef will time how it all comes out. Fine. Took forever to get our cocktails. No nuts and olives. Eventually the nuts and olives arrived at the same time as the meatballs we had ordered. Now we have to eat the meatballs before they get cold - didn’t really get to enjoy the nuts and olives with our drink as we wanted and have in the past. The meatballs were very flavorful and were accompanied by delicious sauce and ricotta but were too dense and hard and the grilled bread that came with it tasted only of char. After that, the pizza we ordered was fabulous, as it always is, but then the veal we ordered (also very yummy) arrived to the table waaay after that. Their unique menu/ordering set up just didn’t work last night. We will be back because we understand everyone has a bad night. We might have to adjust how we order and our expectations however.
I had Osso Buca. Only about 3 oz of meat. Never had so little meat for this dish. The margarita pizza was salty. My wife’s salmon was very good
The service was excellent from the staff greeting us to our server! The food was nice, but truthfully not memorable. We had a meatball appetizer which was a bit cold and not as flavorful as I would have expected. My husband and I both had pasta dishes which were good, but not memorable. The ambiance is lovely.
Delicious food, beautiful setting, friendly staff.
The porch is always a lovely place to eat. The food is delicious. A little overwhelmed with seating...noise level is moderate to high in the dining-rooms but better on the porch.
Food was just ok.
One of our favorite places in Wayne. Tasty and creative menu and the tapas approach allows you to sample multiple items or just go for the entree portion if you wish.
John - Thank you for joining us. Your perspective is greatly appreciated!
Food was excellent. Our waiter, Alex, did a great job. Highly recommend.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here the other night and were very pleasantly surprised! The food was amazing and the service was great - our waiter was knowledgeable, personable, and attentive. I believe their menu options are updated frequently based upon the season, chef's tastes, etc., which I really like. I would highly recommend!
Happy Anniversary, Katie! Thanks for celebrating with us!
Thank you for joining us!
Elegant Italian Soul food as its best in the Wayne Hotel.
Drinks were great. The decor and patio were impressive and beautiful
We look forward to seeing you again! Glad you enjoyed.
Lovely place. I have been there twice and ordered fish. Both times the fish was overcooked. The other dishes were quite good.
Love the location, the ambiance, and the patio dining is wonderful. We have had several meals here and every time the service was average at best. We asked several times for various items such as oil for bread, cracked pepper for salad and she never came back with them. When we asked she kept saying oh I forgot. Wrong food was brought to table several times meant for other tables and when our food did come they had no idea who ordered what. These are fundamental easy things to elevate service at a restaurant. I will say some of the food was very nice like the burrata salad but my Bronzino was dry and a bit over cooked. I think Rosalie has great potential but has some work to do.
Brian(the manager) went out of his way to engage. The service staff is very responsive and well trained. Typical of one of Marty's restaurants.
Michael, great to meet you and your guests. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
Our first visit , food was excellent, nice wine by the glass list. Always fun to visit the Wayne Hotel, they’ve always had first-rate restaurants there.
Paul, we appreciate your feedback and look forward to seeing you again!
Crostini was wonderful!!
Early dinner on the lovely porch on the nicest April evening. Ordered beet salad which was too much to finish. Then meatballs and carrots for dinner. All very good. A little pricey overall.
Outstanding menu, wine list, cocktails and service. The whole package!
Paul, thanks for joining us!
Went to Rosalie for brunch with friends for my birthday. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is excellent. Staff even brought out a desert with candles to celebrate. Overall highly recommend for a cute daytime celebration!
We are always ready to celebrate! Thanks for joining us!
The food was really good!! The service was really slow. I would definitely go back for another meal with the hopes of a different server.
Another visit to Rosalie-
They have truly improved.
Food was well prepared,
Service was great ( and they were understaffed as everyone is)
Server was pleasant and accommodating.
Veal chop was prepared nicely (Its breaded, however I'm not sure the menu indicated this)
Sea bass excellent.
Broccoli and carrot sides were well prepared and quite tasty.
Overall a great experienc
Great food and service.. decor is also beautiful
The group at our table before us wouldn't leave so we were seated late, but the host more than made up for it with a round of drinks while we waited and complimentary dessert. The porch was perfect outdoor dining, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back!
Wonderful staff, excellent spot for foodies and great live music on Saturday night. This is now on my top 5 restaurants in the area. Keep up the great work!
