Exceptional Italian food, the kind you may find in Positano. Excellent wine list, but only offer one SauvBlanc by the glass and they were all out on a Friday night!? Sommelier extremely helpful in bringing tastings, and a good backup choice was made. Our server Alex was extremely condescending. Dude, you’re serving US! And you’re half our age. Don’t be a d**k.
This is the best restaurant on the Main Line. The food is as good as any Center City restaurant. The wine list has many great values. This was my third visit and the food is consistently great from the salads to the deserts. The only drawback is that the menu is a little light on offerings. But given how good the items are the limited menu is a slight concern.
It was my first time there. I live in Wayne and was excited to try it. We had the chicken parm for two. It was amazing but it was a bit pricey. The vegetables weren’t the best choice. I would have done a few small sides possibly sautéed spinach. Broccoli rabe and sweet red peepers .The garlic bread was sparingly and cold. I will say overall we liked it. My friend told me not even to try it after being there when it first opened I will def go back.
Food was amazing. The chicken soup with a stuffed crepe was lovely. It probably had a bit too much park in the crepe which made it a tad too salty. I loved how they cooked the crepe where the ends were crispy. The chicken broth and chicken was perfect on that rainy chilly day. Salad was simple but greens were washed and dried perfectly.
Great ambience and food. Very good service and good timing in bringing out the orders.
I was disappointed with our dinner. We were told to order everything at one time so we did. Our apps came out the same time as our salad and our main course was delivered shortly after that. The halibut was cold and when I asked to warm it up it took a long time and my sons beef was cold when my food was returned. I felt rushed so they could turn our table.Very expensive for everything! Probably won’t go back.
Delicious food, friendly servers, nice ambiance, easy to hold a conversation although lively conversation around us.
The staff was wonderful, warm and inviting. Always with a smile. The food was top notch in every way - taste, presentation, variety of menu, etc. I had the Margherita pizza because it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had! I also go back again and again for the spaghetti with crab. Absolutely delicious!
Beautiful night to eat outdoors.
Halibut poached in butter was superb. Beet salad delicious. Ordered the Verde salad and it was too similar to a Cesar form my tastes. Could have been differentiated better or described more clearly on menu. Service was proficient.
First time visiting Rosalie and will not be my last. Warm ambiance, friendly service and absolutely delicious food. Enjoyed porch seating for lunch but look forward to the dining room for dinner. Will definitely be back!
Beautiful outdoor spot with delicious food and excellent service. Definitely well planned and well executed. Can’t wait to go again!!
Food was ok, not great. Service was slow. And no garlic bread unless you order the 6 course meal!
The food was outstanding, everything we ordered! Diver Scallop and Lamb Osso Bucco and Crudo and Bronzino.
Friendly, comfortable and the food is always excellent!
My friend and I met for brunch Sunday and we had the most wonderful experience. Food was amazing!! French toast, yogurt parfait and Bianco Pizza. Complementary bread plate was insane! Banana bread, rum cake and ricotta biscuits were to die for! Our server, Olivia, was extremely efficient, kind and knowledgeable. Eva, Manager, checked in and could not have been more gracious.
We sat in the main dining room which is not only stunning, but comfortable and warm. Marty, Sydney and the
Fearless team did not miss a beat here and it shows in every detail!
Entree (bronzino) was not good. Tasted Very fishy. The waiter (Kelvin) was very nice and removed the item from the final bill. Still it was disappointing since we’ve heard so many great things about the restaurant and we’re looking forward to try it. For the price we expected much more.
Appetizers, drinks and desert were incredible!!
Their signature Negroni isn't actually a Negroni at all, when its warm out & your outside a room temperature cocktail served up just doesn't cut it. Especially when it takes 25minutes to receive it!!!!!
Our waitress was very accommodating, knowledgeable and nice. however the food took sooo incredibly long. Got there at 12:45 and finally left at 3:25pm. Too long for two people!
Exceptional food and service. Great wine list with modest prices. Will return again.
The portion for the gnocchi was really small even for an entree size, but the overall taste was very good! Service was a bit slow, but it was probably because everything was made fresh!
We enjoyed our outside seat. The food was very good and service great. We’ll definitely be back.
Food and Service were great! One of the best italian restaurant in the area. Thanks, we had great time on special occasion.
Food was outstanding! The service was a bit slower than usual bc they were under staffed that evening! Otherwise always great experience in this restaurant and we love it! Definitely will be dining again.
Food was amazing. Service was a little rocky but they were busy and with post Covid it is understandable that staffing levels may not be optimal. Would go back again regardless as the food was great
Enjoyed brunch with friends on a rainy Sunday. Service was very good: attentive, not pushy, gave good drink and food suggestions. Food was excellent. Ambiance was wonderful. We can't wait to come back for dinner sometime soon!
Brunch was a delight! Service was friendly and prompt. Food was exceptional. Cocktails were delicious.
The appetizers were really tasty - the crudo and prosciutto- although pricey. The prosciutto blew me away. I could just eat that with a salad next time. We got the butter poached halibut which was delicious but i wasn’t a fan of the cut of the fish. My husband hot the bistecca special which was pork shoulder. It. Was. Good. Cocktails good would recommend the spicy cucumber margarita which wasn’t sweet and very refreshing. We also had the rose on tap with dinner which was just perfect. A bit pricey and loud but I definitely will be back.
Best restaurant ever!!
Lovely evening. Seated immediately, service was excellent, food arrived at an even pace and we cleaned our plates. My only reservation is that it’s on the expensive side but worth it.
We were guests at the Wayne Hotel and decided to eat right there at Rosalie. It was an excellent decision. The food, drinks, service, and ambience were all so wonderful. Perfect evening.
Wonderful experience, beautiful restaurant, great food and service.
Very salty. Excellent service and great outdoor dining experience. Skip the pizza. My baby loved the pizza and gnocchi but it’s not anything special.
Very nice, staff were very nice and accommodating. We were not rushed and enjoyed a wonderful lunch.
The food is top notch!! Absolutely loved the crab spaghetti, gnocchi, halibut, bianco pizza and buratta!! We had lovely craft cocktails to complete our experience, the spicy cucumber margarita and the peach mule which were both delicious! Our server was awesome and made sure everything was impeccable! Thank you for such a wonderful night Rosalie, we will definitely be back!
I really loved the new decor & menu. The wait staff looked cute in their aprons, etc. We ordered pizzas. No drinks, just two pizzas. It was over an hour & fifteen minutes before they came. This isn't the first time I've had bad service because of a SLOW kitchen at the Wayne Hotel. The waitstaff is knowledgeable & welcoming, but they aren't doing the cooking. This has been a problem for years. I'm not the first person to write about this for sure. Hope they finally get around correcting the most important aspect of restaurant dining.
We had a lovely dinner and would definitely return.
What a wonderful meal and way to celebrate my birthday. We sat on the outside porch which was beautiful. Our server, Alex, was delighful. Our specialty drinks (Spritz Mojito and Spicy Cucumber Margarita) were the perfect way to start off the night. The mezzaluna with beets and poached halibut were some of the best dishes we've ever had. We will definitely be back to dine soon!
Second time I had the lasagna. Very rustic and delicious. Smaller portion was plenty. Waitress was very pleasant.
This is my fav place on the main line! Great menu, amazing drinks, and just a cool space!!! Our drinks took quite a bit longer our last visit, but I suspect that is because they had just opened fully for the first time and the place was packed! Can’t wait to come back!
Our server was outstanding, but the overall service was slow, probably due to a shortage in staff. Party of four with mixed reviews on food.
Food was delicious but had to wait 35 minutes for a cocktail. Waiter brought my husband”s glass of white wine first then had to wait 10 minutes more for my drink. It was our anniversary so of course my husband was waiting for my drink to arrive to toast. Then waiter spills almost a full glass of an $85 bottle of wine we ordered while pouring, no restitution ever made or offered. Then when we asked for the heat lamp to be turned on, we were told that there was no propane left in the tank. But we watched the waiter trying to light it and he was doing it wrong. We have a heat lamp at home. We know how they work. I had to go inside and track down a manager and bring her out to look at which she did reluctantly, saying there was probably no gas left. She came out and hit the red button snd poof! the unit ignited and worked fine. While food was very good but don’t think we will be back. Why spend this kind of money if the experience is lousy?
