This was our second outing at Rosalie and found it be fune
Loved the lasagna and gnocchi
We sat outside on the patio and had a fabulous dinner.
Actually I did not find the main course to be anything exceptional. I ordered the pork chop milanese and was disappointed. It is not well pounded , rather just a breaded chop.
We went with another couple to Rosalie for brunch. That was a mistake, as it turned out, because the restaurant's brunch menu is very brief (four items). I had expected to order an omelette but they weren't on the menu. Instead, I ordered the French Toast, which was tasty but the portion was tiny. My wife and our friends ordered dishes that came with eggs, toast (2 slices), salmon and roasted potatoes, and their meals were in the $14-15 range. My French Toast consisted of slices and nothing else and also cost $14. I thought my meal woefully inadequate.
To top it all off, the service was abysmal. Our waiter was slow to come to us, slow to take our order, brought my wife's coffee in a tumbler instead of a mug (you could barely touch the tumbler, let alone hold it) and then disappeared -- the rest of our service was handled by others, and they weren't providing much in the way of service.
We're not demanding people. We don't think we're the center of the universe. We were just two couples going out for brunch. Poor service, one of us (me) left very hungry and we all thought we overpaid for the privilege. We won't be going back.
The outdoor space was crowded and the sides were pulled down so it may as well be inside. Our table was not ready so we were forced to go inside at the bar booth where it was actually less crowded and seemingly safer.
The food was very good. The biggest problem was that it was so noisy. It was hard to converse. The renovated dining room is very pretty, but the hardwood floor makes the noise bounce. Also the lighting was very pale. We all had to turn on flashlights to be able to read the menu. The peach salad with burratta was excellent and the veal, beef and chicken were all done very well.
Very good meal and seating. Although the special pork dish was very tasty, the chick peas and zucchini kind of got lost, so I feel there weren’t enough veggies. The cheese plate was very good. Salad excellent. Drinks were great and the servers had knowledge of the wine selections available. Will return.
First time there. We enjoyed it.
awful!! the last place it'd return to!! over crowded, noisy and packed. wine was warm. food was more than disappointing, I had burrata salad - it had two big pieces of bread a sprinkling of arugula, 4 small quarters tasteless fruit and two piles of burrata, it looked like a kindergartener put it together. the main course was veal, I think seemed more like pull pork rolled in more fat then substance, swimming in juice and runny mash potatoes! No chance we were even going to think about desert! we will not return if its the only place open.
Love the porch. Our table for 2 was very close to those next to us. Not great in Covid times. Very friendly server. I had the tomato and cucumber salad which was excellent. For dinner I chose the meatball and a side of zucchini. My husband had the Bronzino with a side of crispy potatoes. All delicious.
This was my second visit to Rosalie, the first was 5 stars for everything. This visit was a bit different, our server had to run every request for slight changes “by chef”, he also removed my wine glass before I was finished without asking. The food was excellent. The outside tables are not socially distanced.
Always Excellent. Thank you. A favorite spot to bring clients.
Lovely lunch on the porch. Food always delicious and service is attentive. Always look forward to a wonderful meal at Rosalies
Always amazing. I booked this for a client. They loved it. Excellent as always
Late lunch. Was great. Would recommend for a friends luncheon!
Wonderful business lunch setting. Great food and ambiance and quiet enough for a reasonable conversation. Guests loved it and were talking about bring back family and friends.
Beautiful ambience. Waitress was great, very attentive. Some menu items unavailable. Otherwise food delicious and well presented.
Wonderful first visit. Excellent food ... mushroom risotto in particular. Superb and attentive service. There is both outdoor (covered porch) and indoor seating ... the outdoor area was louder (due to diners' conversations), so we chose indoors. Will go there again.
Pretty restaurant, great cocktails, our dinner was delicious (butter halibut, branzino, steak). The service was a little slow but they are probably understaffed like every other restaurant.
Excellent food, great service.
We had a server from a sister property. A nice guy! He really did try his best.
Getting drinks from the bar (two cocktails) was at first a tad slow … then dinner arrived and we ordered two glasses of wine - which showed up AFTER we finished our meals.
Both ordered fish dishes. Tasty. But it was just fish on a plate. Just - the - fish. Literally.
Oh. Cheese plate. Cheese with two pieces of toast cut into fours. Not much else than that. Had to ask for additional toast points.
Not the best overall experience for $180, two people.
Not sure we would go back.
Menu has changed. Awful pizza and Prosciutto that was non existent on the pasta
What happened ?
Great drinks. Pizza is perfect
Presentation of food and flavor not as good as prior visit. Food was barely warm, unfortunately.
Requested a nice table for our anniversary, but instead was placed on the ramp of the patio next to the wait station. Service was fine but nothing special. Ended up just getting an app and drink. Made reservations for nectar while we were there for 45 minutes later and went there for dinner instead.
Absolutely fabulous evening out with my girlfriends! The fig pizza and fettuccini are amazing along with everything else on the menu! Service, wine, ambiance and even the music has me excited to keep coming back! Thank you Rosalie for an awesome dining experience!!
Our only complaint was that the live music -- while very good -- was also very loud, since we were in the intimate room just off the lobby. Otherwise, it was a perfect visit.
This was my second recent visit to Rosalie. The first time we were seated indoors. This time I requested outdoor seating. I was dining with a friend and hoped that we could have an intimate dinner. Alas! The noise level was much higher than I expected. It was actually quieter on my first visit when I was seated indoors. So, if you want to be able to have a low-decibel conversation during your meal, my advice is to ask for indoor seating.
That said, our server was delightful and the food was AMAZING. I deliberately chose dishes that I had not tried on my first visit.
I absolutely plan to eat eat at Rosalie again soon and try something else from their menu.
Oh, and speaking of the menu, I found it a bit hard to read. I think that there isn't enough contrast between the color of the type and the background color. It's not easy for an older person to read, especially indoors when the lighting is low.
A little too dark are hard to see menu. Sat in him dining room. Service got a little slow towards the end food was awesome
I’ve been to Rosalie twice now and will continue to go back. Great food and atmosphere. My most recent visit was for my birthday and they gave us complimentary glasses of champagne. They also have a separate vegetarian menu which I always appreciate.
Poor menu selections with mediocre preparation.
We chose from the brunch menu. The food was delicious and the servings were generous. The waitress was very personable and attentive. Great restaurant!
Love the front porch, but not crazy about being near the serving table/area. Food is fresh and well-prepared.
Absolutely excellent experience. Delicious food and friendly efficient service . Will definitely return with friends!
Excellent food, atmosphere and service.
I thought the Lioni burrata was a salad. It’s listed under salad. I love arugula. I asked Ellis our waiter if it was a good salad because I love a good arugula salad. He told me yes it was a great salad. When I got it it was so disappointing. It wasn’t even appetizing to look at. It was mostly grilled thick bread. Awful peaches. Tiny pieces of burrata. And no more than five pieces of arugula for decoration. I told him this isn’t a salad and i thought it was supposed to be. He ignored me. It was awful and not a salad or a good burrata appetizer and his ignoring my disappointment and feeling misled just ruined the mood and the rest of my meal. I was hoping to have a new go to in the neighborhood but the appetizer was truly awful and being misled by the waiter leaves me not wanting to go back. We eat out frequently but this whole experience would not have me going back. Disappointing because it’s close to home.
Outdoor seating was comfortable and covered Staff service was excellent. Comprehensive wine list and the menu items are unique. Especially recommend the lasagna! Very nice upscale vibe but not uncomfortably so.
I usually love Fearless restaurants but Rosalie did not show well last night. Service spotty, drinks took forever & not everyone was asked if they wanted one. They were out of Tito’s vodka. Food was inconsistent- some cold, some unavailable even though it was early. I had noted it was a surprise bday celebration & nothing was done to celebrate the guest.
