May people associate a great restaurant at The Wayne Hotel always! That does hold true for ROSALIE! the decor is upscale and the entire rooms are lavish. The food is very delicious and presented very nicely and appealingly on the plate.
Food was very very good and our waitress was excellent
For the price point, I expect more in terms of food and service. We refilled our own water (Pellegrino) glasses and wine glasses throughout the meal. We started with a cheese board that was delivered with no description of the cheeses. Food was good and creative, but portions are very small - even for this type of restaurant. We were underwhelmed by the short rib. I would much rather go to Alba in Malvern or Fraschetta in Bryn Mawr. Space is gorgeous and I am sure it will be a scene. However, we did not feel the service or food lived up to the price.
Maybe due to the fact the restaurant has only recently reopened however the house salad on the Saturday lunch menu wasn’t available. The Caesar like salad was terrible.
Had lunch at Rosario a few days earlier and the branzino and service were very good (but not available on the Saturday lunch menu). Complicated menu and uneven service.
Excellent experience from the decor to the food! Beautiful and unique decor, delicious drinks and a nice wine list. Our server was awesome! He was funny, knowledgeable and on top of things. I loved the homemade pastas. Everyone loved this experience! Thanks so much!!
Our food took forever - we sat down at 7:25 and didn’t have
Wonderful food and very safe environment. Great service.
Food was delicious. Wait staff was perfectly hospitable, professional and safe (with masks on). Social distancing was observed.
Seating too close. Scary! Will not return or recommend.
Service was outstanding! The restaurant only opened a few weeks ago and everything was absolutely perfect. Thanks for a great brunch!
Very interesting menu choices but wish the wine list had more options by the glass. Our group of 3 ordered multiple things to share with the table and enjoyed each item. We enjoyed sitting on the porch on a beautiful night. The servers were wonderful but overall service was slow most likely due to not having enough servers. I look forward to dining there again.
The food was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend!
We really had a wonderful experience our 1st time on Tuesday. We decided to eat inside because the porch was bustling with joyous laughter. We started out with the Wugyu flatiron appitizer, a pasta dish, and the olive oil cake, which was absolutely delicious. Our Server was absolutely wonderful explaining the menu in detail. Love that all the pasta is made fresh daily. Will be back again.
We ate out on the front porch; menu was good. We all liked what we had a lot.
Our server was helpful, attentive, and delightful. Five stars all the way around!
Everything was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend Rosalie for any occasion
The restaurant is decorated beautifully inside and out. We ate outside outside on the large outdoor porch It was a cool day and they had heaters outdoors..The wine and food were delicious. Many of the dishes were tapis size which made it nice to share multiple dishes
Excellent food and service! Enjoyed the outdoor sitting so much...
Great food great service and beautiful decor ! Definitely will visit again
Rosalie is an intriguing new addition to Wayne culinary scene. It's advertised as " Italian soul food" . I understand they try to be different but except for their pizza the food does not have anything to do with simple good italian food. Portions are very small and way overpriced . I had the spaghetti chitarra which was just laughable serving. The restaurant itself is very pleasant, nice decor. We were also very surprised they play background music of almost any kind except nice italian music-makes no sense. In summary we were very disappointed - no returning for us.
Loved the ambiance, food was great & service couldn’t have been better!
Tables are uncomfortably spaced 2-3 feet apart
We were shocked
Our expectations were high, having dined with this restaurant group before, unfortunately our experience fell flat. The menu is trying too hard.Italian soul food is how it is presented, but there is something to be said for familiarity. Portions were small, options left to be desired. Suppoli arrived under cooked, and tiny, on a little plate without any garnish. Our affagoto, had about a teaspoon of gelato! The waitress was wonderful and stooped at our table to correct these issues. I don’t think we would dine there again, anytime soon.
Loved everything we ate and the ambiance!
We loved it all!!!
Way overpriced given portion size which is very small
Very different presentation of Italian food. We liked the concept. It was like tapas dining. Dishes came out when they were ready, not in the typical style of appetizer, salad, entree, etc. We sat on the porch which was lovely but very noisy. The server was very knowledgable and the management was very engaging and professional.
Outstanding on all points! The 4-course tasting menu was phenomenal, from the rainbow trout to the pasta to the short rib and the olive oil cake to go. And a luscious bottle of Iris Pinot noir. A fitting dinner for our 38th anniversary. And thanks to the staff for finding us a cozy table to celebrate together!
A gem of a restaurant - delicious, homey french food without pretension.
Beware! Tables outside are extremely close together. We had to leave abruptly because a table of 6 was seated next to us in a circular table such that one member of their party was face to face with me and less than 6 feet away, and we no longer felt safe. Food was also not very good - husband’s pork was raw.
The food here is excellent! I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes. I love everything about this place and am excited to bring friends and family here!
Food was excellent at times waited a while for
Fearless Restaurants has done it again! Inventive Italian food surrounded by inspiring design. The level of detail in the dining experience was excellent. A must-order is the fritto appetizer!
Had a wonderful meal with 3 friends. Fritti was a table favorite. Cheese was great. All the plates were shared which allows us to try a ton. Speck pizza was out of this world. Bronzino was so delicious and flavorful but light enough.
Great service from Ronnie!
Highly recommend The new Star on the restaurant scene.
The team is attentive and the food delicious. Every room has a great vibe. Taste is authentic for those who want to experience a little Italy ! Bravo to everyone and the care you are showing your customers . Thanks also for bringing the huh er community out and together!
Wonderful menu. Each dish awesome.
We snagged a nice porch table for our socially-distanced 4-course tasting dinner for $75 pp & a great way to explore the chef's breadth. I had the pesce crudo, gnocchi, brodetto, & olive oil cake (all outstanding) along with the not-to-be-missed suppli for the table (plenty of food plus next day's lunch). Despite the restaurant having been open for only a week, the service was excellent and the server (Claudia?) was knowledgeable & helpful with our food & wine selections. As a long-time Wayne resident, I've experienced many iterations of restaurants at the Wayne Hotel over multiple decades. Rosalie certainly does justice to its elegant, iconic setting as a very welcome upscale addition to our restaurant-centric town.
Dinner portions were unacceptable, way too small
I chose Rosalie for a friend’s birthday lunch and we sat outside on the porch on a gorgeous afternoon. We love to share small plates so this menu is perfect. We selected dishes from several of the menus - starters, pasta and secondi, and all were excellent! Great spot for a relaxed afternoon meet-up.
A wonderful addition to the Wayne restaurant scene - you must try! Decor is adorable, the staff is friendly and the chef is incredible. Get the gnocchi - I wanted to lick the plate clean! The Suppli and Fazzoletti were absurdly delicious as well. Save room for desert - it is worth it! Looking forward to going back soon.
Second visit since opening but this time for a business meal. Sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful evening. Tried new items on the menu but again food was top-notch matched by great ambiance and responsive service. My guest was quick to sing its praises as well. Reservations set for two weeks from now to celebrate a big occasion.
