Dirty bathroom. No soap. No paper towels.
Felt like a TGIF & not the Rosa We frequent in NYC.
Very slow service, “famous” guacamole without any taste, poor plane cocktails. Dead and empty ambiance. I have been many times in Rosa Mexicano in Washington that is really nice franchise restaurant with good food and attitude. This Miami Beach one is really a failure.
We made the reservation thru Open Table a few minutes before going, they didnt find it but sat us, we got there late, close to 10pm and you could feel that the staff there was just going thru the motions and was ready to leave, not special at all, food ok, service poor had to wait for server various times to come to table. Outside area just feels like some tables placed on the sidewalk.
Sat outside.. staff was very nice but a bit neglectful.
Food delivery was slow. Never asked if we wanted another round of drinks or water after initial order.
Food quality was good but not that exciting to the tase.
With stronger management and attention to detail Rosas could be very good.
Bella la location, buono il mangiare. In questo ristorante non si sbaglia mai
Very yummy food - especially the churros were so good.
We waited over one hour for our food and restaurant was NOT crowded
We were in town for spring break and Elena was our server; she went above and beyond in helping us choose the right foods. She is an asset to your company - she really made our dinner so wonderful we came again the next day!
The food was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed thoroughly everything!
I had stumbled upon the NYC location about a week ago and couldn’t stop thinking about it. When I came to SoFlo to spend time with my girlfriend, she had told me there was one in south beach so we made it a point to go.
If you’ve never had the opportunity to try this place out - make it a point. The food is AMAZING, priced well and great portions.
Service started a little rocky then improved. I’ve been here a few times before and service was better.
My family visit this restaurant fairly often and the food is always good. Most of the time, though, the service is poor. HOWEVER, this time our server Dora was fantastic!!! I don't know where management has been hiding her, but she did/does a great job! This location needs more servers like Dora! Thanks.
Our go to place in South Beach! Happy hour is a great deal and the bartenders are awesome!
First table was dirty. Moved to different table. Service was average at best.
Thanks Jolene! The food was great! The churros were a hit.
Our server was very good but they really seem not to have their act together , seating us , the water etc like it’s not a well oiled machine working.
AMAZING SERVICE!! Paula was fantastic! Eduardo the manager touched our table to make sure everything was good, tableside guacamole is a must!
It started off kind of slow. The hostess seemed like she was in a bad mood with us. But the other employees were very nice and kind. We enjoyed our meal before a movie. Great outdoor scenery.
Was so disappointed with the service!
This restaurant has gone DOWNHILL way too fast!
They were very gracious to accomodate our party of 4 for outdoor dining.
But we were kept waiting for a good 1/2 hr with NO water/drinks being served and no steward assigned for our table.
Its only when I brought this to their notice that they got the water and then the waitress came to take the order...
It did not loo like a busy night but guess still short staffed.
The Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend was amazing.
In town for the boat show, the Hotel i am staying at recommended Rosa as the best Mexican place in town, great location btw, lunch was amazing we had the Tres Enchiliadas and Guacamole, the server Ansary is fantastic and she handles the bar too, brought us mini apps on the house, fantastic experience!
We live very close they have a very good quasadilla e the chips are the best no too much salt and not oil
They have a great happy hour hope doesn t change!!
When we got there, we had to wait about thirty minutes before we knew who our server was. It took thirty minutes to get our drink orders. Thankfully we told my hostess to bring guacamole so we didn’t starve to death. However, the guac was flavorless, and the chips hard. We ordered cheese quesadillas to split but the tortillas were hard and not cooked well. When we finally figured out who our waitor was at the beginning we asked for separate checks. When we were ready to ask for the check the waitor made a problem about separate checks. However, thankfully she brought it. She never asked how we were doing, if we wanted refills, or anything like that. Will never return.
A very disappointing experience in every sense. Food was average at the best. It was pricey for what they offered and the service was horrible.
Fist time in Miami visiting from Germany, the Hotel recommended Rosa Mexicano- very beautiful location and food from Mexico, wish it was one in Berlin. The waiter Adrian very accommodating and food knowledgeable, we are very impressed!
First time in South Beach looking for a non touristic restaurant, me and my husband are in love w Rosa Mexicana after tonight's dinner, great ambiance, friendly staff / managers but the server Nikola provided a service similar to a 5 star resort experience, his recommendations were fabulous. What an exquisite establishment on Lincoln Road mall, ROSA we will be back for more :)
Have dined here in the past, but, it has gone downhill and would frequent again. Disappointed.
Excellent food and fantastic service. Other bad reviews very inaccurate. Took my 91 yo grandma for lunch and she said it was the ' best Mexican food she's had in years'. Table side fresh guacamole is worth the trip.
Tonight was excellent! Craving Mexican food and wanted an upscale location so we decided on Rosa Mexicana South Beach, we drove all the way from south Broward and were t disappointed. The service was phenomenal and the place was packed. We received our drinks right away and our appetizers too. Our waitress Paula was very attentive and so was the Manager, Eduardo, who we called over to share how very pleased we were with what we believe is the best guacamole we’ve ever had prepared tableside. I really enjoyed the fish tacos, I cannot eat fried food so they prepared them for me grilled, yummm! I’m so happy we made the drive! Service, food, ambiance and great Management made for a wonderful date with my hubby of 25 years!
Great happy hour!!!! Food, drinks and service! Our waiter was very knowledgeable and management were greeting every table in the restaurant. Dan and Eddie were outstanding!!
This location is no where near the quality of other Rosa Mexicano properties I have been to in NY and DC. The only thing that was good was the guac. Half of our appetizer was cold (not sure how that happens). The pomegranite margarita was not the same as other properties. And our entrees were bland. Its no wonder to me now that it was the only place on Lincoln Road that was dead on New Years eve.
The restaurant has been in a sharp steady decline. We went for the NYE prefix menu. They totally forgot to bring the appetizer until we inquired after the entree arrived. It came old cold and didn’t even taste good. The servers seem to care less about the customers. It used to be a fun enjoyable place to eat several years ago but I would not recommend it. It seems to be mostly empty so others must have reached the same conclusion
I blame this poor review on the management . The service was horrendous . No fault of the server , they were very under staffed . I don’t believe they are trained well either . The drinks and food were good. It’s just took forever for anyone to come and take drink or food orders. Then after the orders were finally taken, the menus were left all over the table. The one women serving us was all over the place. I wanted to help her. Bottom line , there whole staff should be better trained and they should add more help.
No service help at all. Food less than acceptable quality. Wait staff complete confusion. General manager not available. Would not recommend at all.
Food, service and ambience (sitting outside on Lincoln Road) were excellent. Weekend brunch here is also quite good.
Decent Food, sat outside and enjoyed Sangria. Service was decent.
Not really a fan of this style Mexican , all in all it’s just ok for me
Waitress poorly attentive. Repeatedly and politely asked for service. Hostess actually took our drink order. Amazingly the restaurant was not crowded at all. Typically I gladly give 20% tip. This was the first time I can recall that I truly questioned the amount of gratuity to reward.
Simply amazing the food was fresh ! The avocado dip is made right in front of you it's simply incredible! Will definitely be back
The server brought our food before our drinks, apparently out of the wine I ordered. Instead of telling me he went across the street to buy a bottle and by the time he returned we already had our food. Not a relaxing evening. But the worst part of the evening were the two mothers and three children who were climbing the furniture, throw a ball and running around the restaurant. Neither the two mothers nor the staff nor management did anything to control the situation. It was unpleasant for all of the diners.
