About Rosa Mexicano - South Beach
Our newest Miami restaurant is located in the heart of South Beach in Miami at 1111 Lincoln Road in the architecturally striking new Herzog & de Meuron-designed building. Rosa Mexicano delivers authentic Mexican cooking in an accessible, stylishly festive atmosphere. Rosa Mexicano's menu features a range of award-winning signature dishes, including our Guacamole en Molcajete, in a traditional lava rock mortar. Described by Time Out New York as "green ecstasy in a stone bowl," it is prepared table side and served with house made chips, warm corn tortillas and condiment salsas. Rosa Mexicano is also known for the Frozen Pomegranate Margarita. For this vibrant city we’ve created a welcoming contemporary design, featuring a casually chic dining room with floor to ceiling windows and a travertine bar. Our patio area provides the perfect spot for al fresco dining and people watching.

Rosa Mexicano - South Beach Ratings and Reviews
First time in South Beach looking for a non touristic restaurant, me and my husband are in love w Rosa Mexicana after tonight's dinner, great ambiance, friendly staff / managers but the server Nikola provided a service similar to a 5 star resort experience, his recommendations were fabulous. What an exquisite establishment on Lincoln Road mall, ROSA we will be back for more :)
Tonight was excellent! Craving Mexican food and wanted an upscale location so we decided on Rosa Mexicana South Beach, we drove all the way from south Broward and were t disappointed. The service was phenomenal and the place was packed. We received our drinks right away and our appetizers too. Our waitress Paula was very attentive and so was the Manager, Eduardo, who we called over to share how very pleased we were with what we believe is the best guacamole we’ve ever had prepared tableside. I really enjoyed the fish tacos, I cannot eat fried food so they prepared them for me grilled, yummm! I’m so happy we made the drive! Service, food, ambiance and great Management made for a wonderful date with my hubby of 25 years!
This location is no where near the quality of other Rosa Mexicano properties I have been to in NY and DC. The only thing that was good was the guac. Half of our appetizer was cold (not sure how that happens). The pomegranite margarita was not the same as other properties. And our entrees were bland. Its no wonder to me now that it was the only place on Lincoln Road that was dead on New Years eve.
The restaurant has been in a sharp steady decline. We went for the NYE prefix menu. They totally forgot to bring the appetizer until we inquired after the entree arrived. It came old cold and didn’t even taste good. The servers seem to care less about the customers. It used to be a fun enjoyable place to eat several years ago but I would not recommend it. It seems to be mostly empty so others must have reached the same conclusion
I blame this poor review on the management . The service was horrendous . No fault of the server , they were very under staffed . I don’t believe they are trained well either . The drinks and food were good. It’s just took forever for anyone to come and take drink or food orders. Then after the orders were finally taken, the menus were left all over the table. The one women serving us was all over the place. I wanted to help her. Bottom line , there whole staff should be better trained and they should add more help.
Waitress poorly attentive. Repeatedly and politely asked for service. Hostess actually took our drink order. Amazingly the restaurant was not crowded at all. Typically I gladly give 20% tip. This was the first time I can recall that I truly questioned the amount of gratuity to reward.
The server brought our food before our drinks, apparently out of the wine I ordered. Instead of telling me he went across the street to buy a bottle and by the time he returned we already had our food. Not a relaxing evening. But the worst part of the evening were the two mothers and three children who were climbing the furniture, throw a ball and running around the restaurant. Neither the two mothers nor the staff nor management did anything to control the situation. It was unpleasant for all of the diners.
Second time at this location, love the Guacamole along with the enchiladas very flavorful and the margaritas same. Always nice to have attentive service by a pleasant young lady with glasses and surprised to receive a phone call the second day from management asking about the dinning experience. Side note , grandpa loved the sombrero hat we will be back next year for his birthday
Whenever we are in South Beach, we always go to Rosa Mexicano. I️ have Celiac, so I️ always am nervous eating out. This restaurant is great for Celiacs! We had the Happy Hour first, then ate dinner. It was a delicious meal and the most important thing was I️ did not get sick afterwards!
The food and service were excellent. We returned twice during our trip to Miami. I recommend the carnitas and the sopa de tortilla. The tortilla chips and salsa were the best I've had at any Mexican restaurant. If you are overwhelmed by the dining choices in Miami, definitely check out Rosa Mexicano-South Beach for a guaranteed great meal and very friendly service. They even have brunch!
Amazing spot for every day dinning, as locals we love the staff here and managers who always take care of us, great food options for vegetarians and fit Miami people. We love Christian who is always attentive and remembers our drink options, place is always spot on!
The food was good but the service took way too long considering there wasn't a lot of people. My friend and I sat with empty drinks all the way up until we were finally able to ask for the check. Our waitress never came around between the time of ordering and when we were totally done eating. It's a bit overpriced for what you get. I like the place, but only go once in a while because one small drink sets you back $13.
