So happy bar area is back open. Our favorites are the table side guacamole, the chicken tortilla soup, the flautas & the enchiladas. Also must have the frozen pomegranate Margarita here!
Food was good and drinks were great! There was plenty of outdoor and also inside
We had a lovely dinner at Rosa Mexicano. It was a quiet Thursday night and service was outstanding.
Quality of food was not there. Not same as 1st Avenue restaurant
The staff was amazing: the accommodated our needs and we’re very friendly. The food was really good.
From the moment we walked and we’re greeted by 2 smiling and welcoming hostesses, to the great service we received from our waiter Freddy, to a warm and friendly exchange with the general manager Chandi over flowers, this was just a perfect and lovely experience from start to finish. We have always loved the food at Rosa Mexicano, and this time was no exception. All in all, we felt really happy and satisfied and can’t wait to go back!
Rosa Mexicano losing its way unfortunately. Sat outdoors at a table that was filthy. Hadn't been cleaned nor had any of the other empty tables around. Had the prix fixe menu which is a good value but the flavors were just blah. Chips and salsa no longer complimentary, really? Better options else where I am afraid
It started off rocky with a server that should have stayed home but a single mention to the front desk and they quickly fixed things to make the night memorable. Except for the corn tortillas not being able to hold together for the tacos, everything was perfect, including the service from Kayla & management.
The service was slow but the hostess was very friendly personable probably short staffed . The Guacamole was not good at all usually our favorite .My meal was very bland unfortunately the dining experience was not great .
Though the food was good. It took 20 mins for someone to sit us even though we had a reservation and there was no one waiting. Another 34 mins for someone to take our order and 58 minutes to be served. I could understand if it was busy but it was not. It not worth 150.00 for 3 people and it should not take 2 hour to begin eating. This was the worst experience we have had
The staff was amazing. Polite, fast service, helpful and honest.
Excellent service ! Food was delicious
Good food and great service. Would recommend the restaurant.
The Salmon Pablano is great every time and the pork dishes are always flavorful and not greasy at all..The frozen pomegranite margharita is the best cocktail of all time.
Place was empty! Food was ok.
The restaurant was extremely dirty, hair on the floor, seats not cleaned, looked and smelled like mildew.
Food was excellent and service was fantastic.
But It was a dull place and pretty boring ..If you are looking to have a quiet time this is the place.
Needs bright lighting and better interior like the ones in NYC..
Food is delicious, staff is professional and friendly, place is very clean. One of our favorite go to places for Saturday lunch. No complaints at all.
Short staffed, they did their best to accommodate everyone. Food and drinks were ok. The lights were so bright it felt like a cafeteria.
Our first time at this location....looked fwd to them making guac at the table but no more since Covid (but it was still A-1)....the corn dish was not the same as we had in NY....but everything else was delish! Kudos to the Banana Cream Pie Baker! Freddy, our waiter, was soooo nice and accommodating! We'll go back soon!
The food was great as usual! Paul the manager goes out of his way to make his customers happy!
There’s A happy hour daily that’s amazing!
Sangria here is excellent, highly recommended
I live nearby so I used to come here quiet often but this was my first tome back since covid. Service was absolutely terrible. We were served soup without spoons. It was impossible to flag anyone down but when we finally asked two different servers for spoons, we only received the spoons along with our main entrees. Food was worse than before but it’s really the poor service that got me.
Fantastic food, service was mediocre but overall great experience if you choose to ignore bad parts!!!
Hostess was smug and unwelcoming
One lady had a dog and an unnerving cough
One guy, in scrubs, had a dog too
We won’t go back… too many animals and sick people around to enjoy a meal.
Terrible service. Absolutely terrible.
Great food and nice quiet atmosphere
Food was good
Favorites are the guacamole of course! Flautas, chicken tortilla soup & the Suizas are among our other favorites on the menu. Margaritas are delish! Great girls night out.
Great place for a leisurely dinner. The staff does not make you feel rushed at all. Great food.
This restaurant has really nice decor, except for the diving men suspended in mid air of the waterfall walls on the back lol; it was unique. We went at 11:30a when they opened and the noise was to a minimum which was pleasant, and the service was wonderful. The food was great and the drinks were very strong and good. Wish the guac didn’t have big chucks of not mashed avocado but I would get it again because I love guac. I hear their happy hour is fun so I will definitely go back.
Great food, drinks, and price for happy hour!
Delicious meal, attentive server and delicious drinks!
I forgot how much I like this restaurant. Great ambiance, the guacamole is always the best.
Have been a long time Rosa Mexicana lover.
Sadly I think our time has come to part ways.
The menu has been revamped so many times to cut corners and lower costs, the food is no longer what is was, no longer good or worth it. The staff has lost site of what hospitality is, at least at this location. And the bartenders couldn't serve a balanced cocktail if the future of tequila depended on them.
Father’s Day dinner
The food is amazing and fresh. The service was perfect.
Great Food & excellent sangria
I hadn't been to Rosa Mexicana in years. The food was very good. We had the fish tacos and asked for some guacamole since it wasn't put on the fish tacos. Our server was very pleasant and professional.
Our food, aside from the $28 guacamole, was not good.
