    If you make a reservation here, do not expect that it will be honored a the appropriate time and have a backup plan. Our reservation was for 7:15 PM, we were not seated until 7:28 because, "we were seating people as they came." I had arrived early (6:07 PM) and checked in early because my group was two dignitaries and I needed a smooth experience when they arrived, I didn't re-approach the hostess until 6:59 because I recognized that I was very early and didn't want to seem entitled. When I asked for an estimate at 7:04, I was told they would do there best but couldn't guarantee my reserved table at 7:15, yet sat numerous people who simply walked in and asked for seating that were the same or bigger size than my reserved group. Since the hostess told me she would text when it was ready I didn't ask again until 7:21. When I asked how much longer I was told a couple minutes so I brought my group inside, then they said it wasn't ready and to wait a bit more. At 7:26, I asked again and they had me call my group up only to say it would be a few more minutes because they weren't ready yet. After all this, they sat us at a table that clearly was thrown together to try and fit us in at 7:28. I know it may seem petty over 13 minutes but when a reservation is made, it should be honored and without me having to push them to find a table.

    I can't say enough about Matty. I am an Organization Development Consultant who has worked with businesses nationally and internationally. Matty is a true winner, I assumed she was a member of the management team. She should be. We walked in and another young lady was on the phone. Matty noticed us standing and asked if we had been helped. Then we wanted an outside table which she prepared, seated us and then proceeded to provide us with great service. She is everything from soup to nuts. Very refreshing.

    The wait staff were very helpful, attentive and kind. The food was fresh and lovingly prepared. The only negative was the noise. My partner and I could not hear each other talk. We chose to skip dessert because of the noise. I would choose takeout next time.

    Everything from check-in through getting the bill was great. The staff were fun, friendly, and engaging. Drinks were strong, showed up fast, and were well executed. Food prices were VERY reasonable, quality was high, the presentation was solid, and was rather tasty. 10/10 would recommend. MILD Tableside guac... is a bit more mild than wild!

    My server was not attentive and we had to flag him down several times for basic needs….. napkins and refills and such. It was amplified as there was a woman server working next to his section that gave extraordinary service to ALL of her tables. So we tipped him accordingly. ($10 on a $140 tab) we were finishing our drinks prior to leaving and I asked him for a Sprite to-go and two cups of ice. He brought it back with the tab for the sprite. I took two sips and almost passed out. My friend had to guide me out of the restaurant. I’m pretty sure he put eye drops or something of the sort in the sprite. Being that there is nothing I could do to prove it I just left but I will never return. It’s so sad that a nice restaurant has terrible workers that are horrible people. If I had heart issues and took medicine for it, I could have had a heart attack and died.

    Overall, the food wasn’t bad nor a sense of wanting to order again but instead… good overall. Waitress was very polite and respectful. We had a couples dislikes but she immediately corrected them, overall service 10/10. The experience wasn’t bad nor phenomenal but enjoyable enough for me and my family to leave full and happy!

    Before we moved in 2021, this was one of my favorite places to dine. After coming back for work, this was my first stop; it was very underwhelming. Service was slow and my husband’s order was incorrect. It wasn’t the same dining experience and the ambiance was lacking. However, I’ll try to new location at WDW, closer to home.

    On a HOTTEST Record Day the A/C was broken. It was humid inside the restaurant. Had a reservation for 6:30 was not seated until after 7pm. Asked for Birria Tacos with Flour Tortilla instead of Corn Tortilla. Was told I could not switch my tortilla, and I asked for a manager but the waitress came back and said "the manager said..." I asked her again "I would like to speak with the manager, please have the manager come by our table" She proceeds to says, the manager has nothing to do with it, its the kitchen. The manager said you cannot switch out the tortilla. I then replied well the manager can speak for themselves, I would like a manager before I order anything. I got so frustrated, I just got up and left the HOT BOX anyway.

    The restrooms were filthy and gross. The floors in the dining room were wet and dangerous. Decent food but the cleanliness is unsettling. If the customer facing areas are gross what does the kitchen look like?

    Food was okay. Entire restaurant reeked of a strong mildew smell. The smell hit me as soon as I walked through the door. It was obvious they were trying to mask it with air freshener but it just made the smell worse. Wouldn’t dine at this location again.

    Great tasting guacamole made at the table. Can keep the jalapenio peppers separate if someone does not eat spicy foods. Family style had enough to feed 3 and probably 6 more meals. The fresh sauces are fabulous.

    My husband and I stayed at the AC Hotel National Harbor, our first time at Rosa Mexicano. We enjoyed the food very much, we had tacos (chicken and steak) and the Mexican Rice with steak..delicious. The Margarita was on point. The server Derek was attentive and very pleasant. Thank you

    Worst experience ! Not ambient , we never found who was our server or the name , they never offer drinks other than water , food was super spicy and they never ask how do we like or if we want spicy , chairs and table loose that if feels like about to break , they seat us next to the door at the kitchen we can hear all the noise and see everyone coming and going ! Not even one star place , for the area where is located we had better expectations ! My family is disappointed . Thanks anyway ; never going again

    This was our first time at this restaurant. Food was OK. I would not recommend the guacamole. It basically was one and a half avocados for $17. Not worth it. Chips were stale. Our server was hit or miss. We had to ask other people for things missing in our order and to pay our tab. A/C is barely felt. Women’s bathroom had no toilet paper in any of the stalls. I don’t know if it’s just this particular location because there’s so many people visiting national harbor. The experience may be different at other locations.

    I was disappointed in the dining ecperience I went to this restaurant years ago when it first opened, and had a wonderful dining experience. Sadly, the restuarant has not been kept up. The tile on the floor had cracks in several places and appeared dull and not very clean. The booth we sat at was chipped and was not cleaned off and setup before they sat us. I had to ask for napkins and tableware, Although I did notice the other tables had nice white tablecloths and appropriate settings. Food at best was mediocre and lacked any type of presentation. Made me think they were just going through the motions, not really trying to give top rate service. I rarely write a review about my dining experience, but am doing so now in the hopes that management will read this critique and take note. I have no malicious intent, just a desire to see the restaurant improve and give the type of service it is capable of. Not sure if I will return anytime soon as there are so many other restaurants at National Harbor that do have great food and service. Would not recommend it to others right now.

    The food and staff were amazing. We were very surprised to have our bill paid for by previous patrons which was a blessing. The view we had the kids could see the movie that was playing on the big screen. The best guacamole that we had. Will definitely visit again.

    We were seated pretty quickly, but it took a little while to order. They allowed me to customize my tacos, but the food too a long time to come. There were a lot of flies in the restaurant overall and the bathroom was extremely warm.

    Great place, great food! We happened to be visiting National Harbor and I was able to get a reservation right before the start of the lunch hour. I’m so glad I did! This place was packed but they did a good job of moving things along. The greeter and wait staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We asked for modifications on one of our meals with no issues. Get the guac! Omg, the tacos were amazing - full of flavor. Each meal was unique and I would def come back! The only thing is it’s a loud place and we could barely hear the waitress but she smiled alot and was very attentive. The view of the harbor was in front of us and that was the icing on the cake!
