Joseph was our waiter today. He was a delightful individual! We will definitely request him as our waiter for the next meal. He’s the best!
Very loud, felt very rushed through dinner. Waitress was nice but did not help explain the menu. Was not able to have a conversation with my wife sitting 2 feet away. We asked to turn down the music which they did but it got loud again. I had dinner there 2 nights before and it was fantastic which is why we went back.
Super loud. To the point the server couldn't hear us. Also the server had too many patrons so she didn't have the time to really build relationship with any of her customers
Amazing , great food.
It was an expensive meal. Food was ok. Guacamole was great
Everything was great. Service food and ambiance. We were kinda surprised about the price though.
it's a very nice restaurant, good mexican food and it faces to the Potomac River so we were able to see the fire works from inside.
Excellent service. Jessica was amazing!
Food was mediocre and the prices were too high for what you get. So disappointed.
Outstanding business lunch. Delicious food, friendly service, the guacamole connoisseurs loved the tableside preparation and presentation. Can't wait to return.
Delicious food, drinks are okay, service very good. but there is a lot of noise, it was a birthday dinner and I could not talk to my husband because he could not hear well, there was too much noise !!
Great place- first time eating there. I got the shrimp tacos and they were delicious. Also, the spicy guacamole was on point. I will definitely go back.
Went on a Saturday night and had reservations for our family of 6 but still waited an hour to be seated. Hostesses were not very friendly. The margs and food were delicious and our waitress Elizabeth was great.
@RosaMexicano at National Harbor has gone downhill since they opened several years back. Slow poor service Saturday night combined with cold food, & sky high menu prices just isn’t working! Regretted recommending my friends on Sunday who experienced worse. #DoneWithRosas
The ceviche was poorly made. The tacos were bland. Only the guacamole was good.
The service is terrible- slow, inattentive, careless. The music was truly awful- so thumping loud we could barely hear each other and really annoying, literally like some kind of torture . The food is fine, but it’s not worth dealing with poor ambiance and service
Great wait staff. Friendly. Delicious food.
The food was sub par and too overpriced! Our waiter was terrible and barely acknowledged us let alone be a decent server
Great service. Food was AMAZING! A little pricey but since it was so good, it’s all good!
I finally was able to eat here. The food were really good. The service was great and the guy who made our guacamole was fun. Thank you. I’ll be back again.
My food was not hot. My friends’ Foods were small for the price and were not so delicious.
The texture of the dessert cake was strange. We thought it was a mistake. The interior design was good and so was the guacamole.
This is consistently one of our favorite restaurants anywhere. Every time we come to National Harbor, we make sure to eat here. The food is consistently excellent from cocktails to tableside guacamole to entrees and desserts. Service has always been great as well. And if you're lucky, you can get a table with a nice view. Servings are substantial so make sure to come hungry. If you have multiple people, consider sharing. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
Elizabeth was the best from the beginning to the end. She was very knowledgeable and attentive. Laurie-Mar (manager, sorry if misspelled) she was amazing as well. The food was great. Hands down a great Mexican restaurant.
Poor service, very slow. Food was ok, it has been better in the past. Asked for more drinks when our food came. But drinks didn’t come until well after our meal was done and we were ready to leave. And still charged for the drinks.
Forgot to seat us for our reservation as we watched a few others that came in after us be seated.
Waiter forgot to place the order for guacamole. Then forgot to place the order for tortilla soup. Food was good. There were some open tables. Wright it off to an off day.
Rosa Mexicano is a staple Mexican restaurant in the DC area. This location is close and within walking distance of the Gaylord. The food is delicious with a wide selection to meet anyone’s palette. The guacamole is made table side and is a signature appetizer. Their chips are warm, light and crispy. Service is friendly and fast. Very enjoyable restaurant.
Great view of the waterfront.
Overpriced- could have had better meal at chipotle steps away. The service was great, several recommendations were not good. Wife bit into several large chunks of chicken fat and didn’t eat anymore. My tacos were not great. Guacamole for $16 was a joke. Staff was good.
Our server, Elizabeth, was EXCELLENT! She was able to recommend a dish that would be good for my food allergy and low level of spicy-ness. She even surprised hubby with a birthday dessert and candle that he loved and best of all — no singing from staff as some restaurants do. The good was DELICIOUS and prepared do quickly. The view was amazing. We will be back soon. Thank you.
I love Rosa Medicano. The service and staff are fantabulous
The “new” menu was terrible and the floor was in desperate need of being swept.
Good as always, but they changed the menu.
Everybody in my party but me loved their meals, my salad on the other hand had hair in it. Ruined the meal for me.
Mediocre meal for the price. Would rather end up at a local Mexican joint than come back here. Service was good and the highlight was the guacamole, but the entrees and desert and drinks were just okay especially given the price.
The food had no flavor and burnt (chicken fajitas and plantains). The Sangria was unflavorable. The waitress was inattentive and not as knowledgeable of menu. The manager Mary was very responsive offered a free dessert and drink for the birthday person. In addition to removing one of the food charges. Uncle Julio’s is so much better and we will not be returning.
Service and experience was overall great!
Great experience, great team, great food
I read the other reviews but booked my corporate dinner here anyways - staying at the Gaylord for a conference and it was convenient. Incredibly slow service and cold food. I’ve realized this place doesn’t need to be good since no one comes back twice - constant inflow of new customers for conferences. Too bad.
We were celebrating my daughter’s birthday. They were very nice ! Service was great and table was ready when we got there. We love this place. We always have fun.
