Sat us right away which was great. Service was really slow. Had to flag someone down multiple times since our server was MIA. Food was ok. The best part was the tableside guacamole

Great food and drink. Enjoyed the margaritas, enchiladas, hand made guacamole and topped off the night with desert. Highly recommend ask for Chelsea manager great service

We arrived before noon, with a reservation. The place was still quite empty, and we informed our server we had limited time, but we waited too long for our order to be taken, and he was good enough to bring our check right away, but then we were virtually ignored. Food was fine.

Good location but that makes it very busy and loud. Food was somewhat expensive and when it arrived it really was nothing special. The tableside guacamole needed seasoning and the skillet dish came on a cold skillet so much so that the cheese had solidified

This was a pleasant surprise! Food was absolutely delicious. Had the table made guacamole, pomegranate margarita and the skirt steak/burrito special. Great atmosphere and very friendly, attentive staff. I would highly recommend.

In town for a conference, didn’t want to travel too far. Really good meal, if a little pricey. Glad we made the reservation too.

My team and I were in the area for a meeting and waiting 1.5 for an appetizer. Unfortunately, the food—appetizer and meal—were all wrong when it arrived as well. This would normally result in a poor rating but management responded to our complaints. I just wish we would have known sooner so we could have made a decision on if we would stay or find other options.

I would try it again if I ever return to the city. I would like to give this restaurant a clean slate to start with.

They were unprepared to manage the number of people that made reservations. We waited over an hour and a half for our food and when it came it was cold. The quesadillas were the worst I have ever been served. The cheese was cold and there was one to two little pieces of steak in each and the tortillas was so hard I scrapped my mouth up. The “table side guac” was not made tableside. It was barely mashed and the avacados were so I ripe that you had to use a fork to eat the chunks where were not good.

They were totally unprepared for the crowd the night of our reservation. There was a JT concert and a large conference going on at the adjacent convention center/hotel. While the food was okay it took forever for us to get seated (despite having reservations) and the bar was extremely backed-up.

Where to begin.
We showed Up group before and had reservations for 7 o’clock. We got to the restaurant and we’re met with a very long line and even though we were early, around 630, I wanted to check in to see if we could potentially be seated early. The girl the front was anything that helpful and not incredibly friendly she told me that while she was checking in and confirming room is a ration I would have to come back to the front closer to my reservation time. Which didn’t really make too much sense considering there was a very long line so I was hoping I wouldn’t have to wait in that line again just to check in. We went to the bar to kill the time we had it took forever to get a drink. My husband at around 655 trying to walk back over to the front to check on our reservation and see if the table is ready and the line in the crowd of people in the front of the restaurant was so incredibly large and chaotic that my husband wasn’t even able to get to the front or speak to anyone about whether or not our reservation was ready he waited for almost 20 minutes so around 720 we gave up. Mind you again our reservation was made through open table for 7 o’clock. We ended up having to go and grab a table as soon as we could by the bar because some nice customers let us know that they were leaving but warned us that the service was incredibly slow. The chaos grew from there we never got an apology or anything in terms of the fact that they completely lost our reservation and we were never seated. Apparently the restaurant was cleaning that OpenTable double booked many of the reservations and that was why there was an issue but again this was all hearsay from the chaotic crowd and nothing from the staff. All in all it was not the best experience and we were offered nothing for the trouble we went through. I use OpenTable often but this was one of the worst experiences.

What happened to this place I loved coming to years ago? Waited to be served (I had to ask who's my server) 25 mins. My food was burnt, horrible experience. I'd pick another place cause this was to busy with customers and hardly any staff

We arrived and our table was available right away everyone there very friendly. You have to try the guacamole and chips and the tortilla soup. It was very good. Nice atmosphere lights a little dim may need a flashlight to see menu. Great place for a night out

The athmosphere is exceptional including the service. We were seated in a very quiet section. Above all the guacamole was prepared in front of our table fresh and the food was great.

Birthday. Place was empty but still not enough workers. And we had to wait for a booth even though there were empty ones. Place needs to be cleaned and or updated. Expensive too.

Awesome service and great ambience. The food is top notch and the Frozen Margaritas are incredible. My only note, would be to bring your own straws as this place went “strawless.” The server was awesome enough to find us some so we could enjoy our Frozen Margaritas.

This was my second time dinning at Rosa Mexicano. I really like the ambiance of this restaurant. The staff is polite and accommodating. Unfortunately if an event is happening in the surrounding area such as the Staple Center or Microsoft Theater the restaurant is extremely busy. You may have an extended wait even with a reservation. However the food is tasty and the service is great.

This is the 4th time we have had dinner and drinks! The location is right near the staples center or Microsoft theatre. The table guacamole was super yummy! The waiter was very helpful and the sangria was super tasty!

Service was very slow. I had reservations for 5 at 4:00pm on a Sunday. My party was seated right away which was nice. We ordered our food around 4:15pm and the food didn’t come out until 5:15pm. The table side quacamole we ordered was salty. The shredded beef in the tacos were a bit dry. Overall just wasn’t what I was expecting at this restaurant.

Food was good however it took over 1 hour to receive our entrees. Our waiter did the best that he could, and we could tell that he was uncomfortable. The restaurant was not overly busy so there really should not have been a reason for such an extended delay. No offer of reducing the price of the meals was offered.

My 35 dollar filete Mingnion was tasteless. Our server seemed upset and not not attentive. Upon our arrival and on our way to our table there was food on the floor everywhere almost as if there was a child who ate prior to us. Overall it would be our last time we dined there. Have never seen or experienced this before at the restaurant

A wonderful find! We saw the restaurant from our hotel room across the street. Since we never say no to mexican food, it seemed like the winner for our Saturday night dinner.

It was far bigger inside that we would have expected from the street (not in a bad way)
Drinks were excellent
Tableside prepared guacamole was supurb
Service was a tad slow
Great place to go before going to an event at the Staples Center

The best part about this place is the homemade guacamole made right in front of your table. Other than that, everything else is pretty standard.
