Delicious chicken tacos at lunch!
Great evening. Pretty cool atmosphere. Wait staff was very attentive. Food was great.
Enjoyed my dinner. Portions are huge.
Shared a plate.
Had a nice tyime.
Was blown away by this place. Great food and great atmosphere. As a tequila lover, was very impressed with their selection and recommendations.
The restaurant was a pot luck choice and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the service. We had the carnetas and shrimp for our main course and guacamole for an appetizer. I have loved Mexican food for many years, and found this restaurant to be among the best. A definite must if you are in the Lincoln Center area.
Good Food severed fast from a friendly staff. Overpriced for Mexican Food but still very good mostly tables for two so great for one on one dates or business meetings.
One of our favorites before the opera, right across the street from Lincoln Center, and always very accommodating to our curtain time. Of course, the guacamole made at our table is a must and the tres enchiladas is a favorite of my husbsnd's. The skewered filet mignon and chorizo on a bed of rice ws my choice this time and it was a perfect medium rare. With time to spare we shared an order of churros, fresh, hot and lightly sugared - a perfect ending. A bit noisy for conversation but we were mostly busy enjoying our food and Margaritas!
Branji was our server and she was attentive and a delight.
Food was delicious and had a great presentation.
A lovely evening.
Excellent customer service! Great food! Love the cocktails...
This restaurant never disappoints. Always high quality. We love it.
The food was ok, I feel like they accommodated the taste of authentic Mexican food to the American paladar. Therefore I found the food kinda bland. Also very over price. If you into over paying for bland tacos this place is for you. Otherwise save your money and go to a local Mexican restaurant. I wish they will improve their cooking cause the scenario is nice and all but if the food sucks I can’t go back
Good food and good service however premium drinks were way to small. Can’t charge high prices for such small drinks
Entrees were soso
While a good selection our food was mediocre
Guacamole and drinks were good
Exceeded expectations. Guacamole made at table really is to die for. Portions are large. Desserts are great.
Good service and food was good, but restaurant dark and a bit noisy.
Overall food was good however the enchiladas were a bit underwhelming. Sauces were fair and quality of meats/ingredients seemed bland. Shrimp quesadilla was good. Tabloids guacamole excellent as were the desserts.
It was my first time there & honestly it didn’t disappoint my expectations. Service was great, food was delicious and the ambiance was pleasant. Will return soon!!
Food is consistently good. Service is casual, yet professional and friendly.
Good choice if you have a group or meeting with friends.
The restaurant is beautiful, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered the shrimp in garlic and it was so terrible that I ate only 2 of them. They were simply boiled and placed on the dish. They were tasteless and certainly did not have the taste of shrimp sautéed in garlic. Also they arrived cold!
As for the drinks, I ordered a traditional margarita but ended up sending it back because it had no taste. it tasted diluted. The waiter explained that it was because I ordered the traditional but he took it back.
All in all, I would say that I am not likely to go back to this restaurant.
Convenient to Lincoln Center...Food and service excellent. First time here but will be back.
Food was, as always, quite good. Service this time was very, very spotty. Servers appeared and disappeared pretty much at random.
Great food and ambiance and service. Sit upstairs if you can.
Wonderful cocktail and wonderful meal. A bit noisy but it was Saturday night.
Dined before our concert at Lincoln Center. Happy we had a reservation since it was extremely crowded. But we were promptly seated. Our waiter was attentive and charming. Known for their great guacamole, a must have. The skirt steak was tender and well accompanied. Will be sure to come back next time we’re in the area.
We go to Rosa a few times a year. It is always solid. Good service, excellent food and a nice environment.
Great table, wonderful service and very good good.
The restaurant was beautiful! Service fantastic! Food authentic and delicious, we had a great time!
It was awesome. The table side guacamole was incredible!
Our server Napoleono was incredible. Extremely attentive, and kind. Thank you for an exceptional evening!
Honestly, the service was outstanding. The server was friendly and informative. And for the money you get a ridiculous amount of food. The pomegranate margarita is a must try.
Low quality food except for the guacamole.
Although this is a chain, each restaurant reflects the neighborhood and food is excellent.
We ate here before the NY Philharmonic and had a wonderful experience. The entrance was a bit chaotic with all the customers entering at once. But the restaurant had a cool, funky ambiance. Table side guacamole was fantastic and was a generous portion as was the smoky salsa. Tortilla chips tasted freshly made. The frozen pomegranate margarita was excellent. Nice balance of sweet and tart and enough tequila to know it was there but not too strong either. My carna asade had an excellent marinated smoky flavor. Mole sauce was very authentic with that actual chocolate like richness. Our waiter was fabulous and did a hood job educating my curious 8 and 10 year old about where and how avocados grow. They also have a kids menu, something which seems rare at nice Manhattan restaurants and that was much appreciated, especially the scoop of ice cream.
Too dark. Service was great. Table side guacamole was great!
We enjoyed the food, it is a very attractive restaurant and the service was fine. However, it's not quiet. The restaurant has carpeting and light-weight curtains and tablecloths, which should help cut noise, but it was a very loud scene for a Wednesday evening at 6:30. For the first half-hour we were close to shouting just to make ourselves heard. It then got better. They could probably use heavier curtains or sound attenuation panels.
I have yet to have bad service or food at this restaurant. Always a delight!
Guacamole lumpy and not prepared at the table. Waiters seemed to be overworked and only came to the table on few occasions making us wait for our orders.
Always love dining here - food is fresh and excellent. Drinks are outstanding, try the cocojito!
We had a delightful meal and asked to move to an alcoved table which made the experience even better...Food was amazing! Great flavor, wide variety for authentic Mexican food specialties.. A great find and we will return!
