I’ll give the place consistent high marks for the service. You never have to wait long for anything you may want or need. All courses came out promptly. We enjoyed all of our meals except one person who found their dish too salty. But 75% of the time we come to this location, everything is top notch. So a once-in-a-while “meh” for anything they serve isn’t enough to not return for the overall top notch experience. This location has a nice, upscale vibe and clientele. Will return.
Returned to in restaurant dining at RM. Great service, great food and an attentive and thoughtful waitstaff were all appreciated. We will be back.
Used to love this Rosa and really sad about the decline in food quality in the last few years. My enchiladas were gloppy and not in a good way.
The entrees of two different steak dishes, the dessert of tres leches and coffee, and the margaritas throughout were delicious. We sat on the second floor where we had plenty of space, a great open view from the window, minimum noise, and wonderful service. Gracias!!!
Food was delicious!
They don't have a good food anymore. The food was cold.
It was a nice experience. Those churros were not freshly baked, they were definitely taken out the freezer/fridge and warmed up. I understand mass production but I’ve tasted better. My main course was delicious. It’s Americanized Mexican food, but I had a good time. Ambiance was perfect. I would return.
One dish of food arrived cold, but was replaced right away. Restaurant is nice, pleasant, with very good Mexican food but service was a little slow in the beginning.
The server was overworked and left us needing to wave him down more than once but good for the restaurant that they are so busy the server can’t keep up. Now is the time to rehire staff. Otherwise, it was a Rosa Mexicano dinner as usual. Delightful.
Great appetizers, good drinks, food was a bit meh. One of the dishes came out a bit cold.
We always have a great experience whether with friends, date night or family
Great food and margaritas
Service was a bit slow unusual for this restaurant. I assume the management hasn’t adjusted to larger crowds.
Nice spot. Good food. Location was perfect as we were staying at Columbus Circle area:
Always consistently good. Frozen margs are the best.
Great food, great ambiance & great staff. We go to Rosa Mexicano every time we go to the City from Connecticut.
As always I enjoyed my meal at Rosa's, but I was a bit shocked that entrees now longer included rice and beans. Seems an unwise way to economize; please re-thing this.
Lovely, yummy dinner out w our 13 year old daughter - consistently great food, friendly and professional waitstaff, contemporary atmosphere
My go to spot for upscale Mexicans food.. ambience is fantastic and the service is fantastic!
Restaurant was really under staffed, took 30 minutes to get a waiter for putting in an order and another hour before we got any appetisers. The order came out wrong and by then we didn’t even have the time to put in additional food.
We weren’t getting attention. Guac was so late as well.
Drinks and food were very good. Service too. Nice setting.
Rosa is one of our favorite go to Mexican restaurants. The guacamole sets the standard for every other Mexican restaurant we ever go to.
Ambiance was very nice. Excellent job at spacing out tables. Food was good, guacamole was small portion, really servers seemed to be unaffected and in a rush to clean up our table even though there were other tables that were seated before we were. Felt rushed and that was appreciated.
La carne no me gustó y la guarnición menos. Pedí carne a la tampiqueña, no la recomiendo.
El guacamole sin sabor.
Lo único que me encantó delicioso la limonada con agua mineral, pero obvio no voy a regresar solo por la limonada.
Good service and delicious food and drinks. Outdoor seating was perfectly
Rosa Mexicano never disappoints. The ambiance is festive without being intrusive. The menu is extensive and varied. The service is always accommodating. COVID protocols are observed so you feel safe. I'd go back in a New York minute!
Excellent food, ambience and service. Rosa Mexicano gives the vacation feeling. It whisked you away from the city to Mexico for a fleeting moment.
Amazing meeting & food!
Food was meh. Coffee cup and cutlery were dirty. Surprised to see how nice upstairs is compared to downstairs. Would have been nice to sit up there or atleast offered seating considering I had one of the first seatings.
Rosa Mexicano has seen better days. I wanted to love my night out but we were rushed, service was not good and food was subpar. Next time we are going elsewhere for Mexican food. Sorry.
Your place had come recommended, and it did not disappoint. It is convenient to access near Columbus Circle via walking when staying at the Mandarin Oriental. The food, service, and beverages were fantastic. We will definitely visit again.
We have always loved this location by Lincoln Center and while it was quieter visiting during Covid, we really wanted to go out for a birthday celebration. We felt very safe with lots of hand sanitizer, distanced tables, and mask wearing.
Our food was delicious, the staff was friendly, patient and accommodating. Most importantly the food was excellent and the margarita pitcher was perfect!
We had a great meal with a very kind server. Overall will for sure go back.
The margs + guac were exactly what I needed after a long day. I forget what my main course was but it could have been shoe leather (it wasn’t!) and I would’ve been happy.
Underwhelming. Service was slow, portions small and not as good as on prior occasions.
Service here at the Lincoln Center location is absolutely terrible. Front desk is the worst - never friendly, responsive, or helpful in greeting you or getting you to a table in a reasonable amount of time. It’s like they could care less. They’re much more concerned with the phone than with customers who are in the restaurant. Never pleasant and never going out of their way to actually deliver on the tenets of hospitality.
Upstairs the service was just as bad. It took 15 minutes to get the server back to our table to inform them our orders were incorrect.
Overall it’s the failure of management to let things in the hospitality business be run this poorly.
