Los meseros fueron muy distraídos y lentos
Great food and location! Loved the drinks, guac, and empanadas.
Wonderful dining experience. Our waiter, David, was terrific!!
Food was fresh, guacamole was different than in the past. Service seemed short staff and felt as if they wanted to rush us in and out. Portions were smaller than the last time we ate at the restaurant.
Best margaritas—pomegranate!! Tasty ceviche. Good menu for restaurant week.
Great location - sitting outdoors is good for people watching, and street traffic is quiet except for the occasional emergency vehicle. Food is tasty, well-seasoned, a mix of authentic traditional dishes and some fusion or "modern Mexican". Great selection of drinks. Service is excellent: waiter brought a drink that we hadn't ordered and took it back and brought what we had ordered quickly and without any dispute.
This place is great everything we had was awesome. You should try it. Our waiter Napoleon did a great job.
Food, drinks, service from start to finish was wonderful.
I’m a wheelchair user and the staff was very accommodating. Definitely wheelchair friendly!
The noise level can make conversation across the table
A little difficult..” more what did you say moments”
But a wonderful evening
Best Mexican food in NYC along with the best pomergranate margaritas at a great location with proper ambiance...
Rosa Mexicano never disappoints! Great food, service and ambiance as always.
Food was delicious. Went for a first date and it was a very good experience.
Rosa Mexicano is my go to place before Lincoln Center, outdoor concerts!
Libations, Nourishments and Staff are powerful, delicious, knowledgeable and quite friendly. Interior design is beautiful. Particularly, the blue waterfalI with divers! Miss the "prepared at table" guacamole!

Love the bottomless brunch :) always come with my friends
What was once a reliably excellent place for great food and service has clearly suffered over the past year. Poor service, sub-par guacamole (which was always the best in the neighborhood)—very sad to see what’s become of a former favorite.
The Maitre d’ was not wearing a mask. This put me off. Our waiter was not wearing a mask. I will not return as I was nervous.
Even in Florida - the wild Wild West with Desantis - all restaurant personnel wear masks. And on this trip this was the only place there was a covid surcharge. - for what????? Felt totally unsafe.
Everything was great!! Delicious food, great drinks, and wonderful service!!
Definitely recommend - we will be back!!
Prefer upstairs by the windows to downstairs and had a delightful meal.
Best to go early. Waitstaff could have been more attentive.
Unfortunately understaffed. Brunch service was slow and the food underwhelming.
Been to the one in Jersey many times & it’s better. Server was non existent, guacamole was mediocre at best. Drinks were decent actually and chicken tacos were pretty good. Ambiance was stiff. I wouldn’t come back
This time everything was excellent! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Miss the table side guacamole service :-( but understand!!
Margarita's are always good.
Rice and beans were more cafeteria style, but tacos were tasty.
I felt like we were being rushed out
I had not eaten at this restaurant in a few years but now that I moved into NYC, I looked forward to returning. Made a res on line for 1 but when I got to restaurant, there was a seat at bar which I preferred. Bartender was good, attentive & efficient. Ordered food which came out in minutes (I wasn't that much in a hurry). It didn't look that attractive but also wasn't very tasty or hot. I probably should have sent it back but didn't. Very disappointing food wise. Margarita was good & it was not an expensive bill but question what happened to the food? It was 5 30 on a Sat. so not the crunch 7 or 8 dinner hour. Not even the rice was very good & pollo quesidilla should be easy. Might try bar again in future as it is across from Lincoln Ctr. but a disappointment.
food and service were great! it was loud, but quieter upstairs
Very good food and large selection. Really great staff. Best frozen margaritas in town IMHO. Be prepared for a very noisy crowd, especially evening into nighttime. An option to escape the noise is to take advantage of their outside seating. One of my favorite restaurants.
I've been her maybe 12 times in as many years, and it seems to be dragging, although busy. Sorry, the guacamole bowl ain't what it used to be. And the noise level approaches unbearable, at least on the upstairs tables next to the stair well.
Food wasn’t good, basic rates, guacamole tasted like it wasn’t fresh at all, main courses arrived cold, very basic and very expensive, lunch for 2 people, no alcohol $110.
So so food, Covid menu
Celebrated our 30th anniversary here. I booked on open table. Everything was wonderful! The service, the ambiance, and the cuisine all exceeded expectations.
Guacamole portions - while tasty- are severely diminished. Be prepared for no table side preparation. Snack
menu is a terrific bargain. Sliders are excellent. Indoor tables downstairs are still far too small.
Terrible service. I felt badly because they were understaffed but it made me
Not want to go back
Waiter was slow in giving us our check. They did not come to the table after the food was brought to the table to check if everything was ok.
Food was great.
Lovely lunch. Food was excellent
Food was very good. Servers were friendly and professional. There was a live mouse on the floor that the manager said she wold take care of immediately.
As always another enjoyable meal here at Rosa Mexicano. The food and service was excellent and the outdoor dining was very nice and comfortable.
The COVID-19 protocols were more than acceptable. We will keep returning and we highly recommend.
Everything is good and nicely presented. Guacamole is a winner as it the pomegranate margaritas.
The food was subpar from past experiences. We also ordered Clase Azul Reposado, seems like their bottle was filled with a different kind of tequila. Whether they know this or not, thats unacceptable and quite embarrassing for a restaurant that used to be recognized as a high caliber one. The waiter did take it back and removed from the bill. I will not be going back. Unfortunate as i live so close to this location.
Manager Lily is amazing and so attentive! Great prize fixe dinner specials. Love the outdoor seating area
Salty. Someone in the kitchen has a very heavy hand. Ordered 2 different dishes and they all tasted all the same. One was definitely saltier than the one before so had to use guacamole to cut through it. Not a place to go on a hot day because you get dehydrated.
