On the menu said Aguas Frescas and they didn’t had any. The margaritas were good but they were already made, so you can’t change the liquor on the frozen one. The salsa wasn’t spicy. Good tortillas.
Awful service. Waited 20 mins to place our order, couldn’t find our server anywhere so had to ask the hostess. She was very apologetic, but even when our server was located he didn’t do anything to make up for lack of service. Food is deceivingly more expensive than you think. We never have a good experience and kept giving them the benefit of the doubt. Won’t be returning.
Overall this was a very poor experience. We essentially did not eat our food and did the waiter ask anything or even bother to return except to bring the bill- we will never dine at this place again. It’s terrible and the service is worse than the food. I did eat at another location in California that was a completely positive experience but this pleads was awful. Avoid it. If we could leave 0 stars we would!
Very disappointing service from our server, Yoan. He would not pass by to check on our drinks, waited a long time to have our order taken, needed to be flagged down by another waiter to tend to our table, and the list goes on. Thankfully, the food was as good as we remember, but service was terrible. I would attribute it to a busy holiday, but there weren’t more than 6 tables occupied in the restaurant. Hope they get their act together with their wait staff soon, we used to really enjoy Rosa.
The food special plate the 3 enchiladas and the pescado primavera, everything excellent. Edwin our server, thank you! Good service.
My birthday fell on a Wednesday. My family had a nice little dinner here. Traffic in Brickell is tough, we were late. The host/ manager was more than gracious. We also made our reservation crazy early (toddler schedule). The la suprema margarita was great, the service was nice and we enjoyed our food. There's a parking structure for this complex.
Delicious! We went for a birthday and our waiter brought a slice of cake and Mexican hat for the birthday boy without us asking. I just mentioned it was his birthday.
Service was extremely slow even though the restaurant was not busy. The waiter barely checked if we needed anything or if we wanted to order deserts. The waiter also gave an order to a different person who started eating it and since no one is Mexican in the group, they thought they got the right order and it was someone else's, then the waiter switched the plates to the right person but the steak was already eaten... the waiter didn't apologize or tried to make up for the mistake.
Very good service. Our waiter was spot on! Food was good and they never left our drinks sit empty.

Expensive: you pay for the location. The guacamole is very good but extremely expensive. The drinks are decent but also expensive ( but it's Miami after all...). Overall, it is a low value proposition.
Great food quality and service. Attentive staff and they do a special vip appetizer or dessert if you frequent often. Decent pricing for the neighborhood that you’re in. So that’s good. An overall positive experience.
My partner and I loved having Valentine’s dinner there so much, we thought about having an engagement dinner there!

Tableside guac and tequila choices outstanding. Service is superb! Don’t miss this neighborhood gem!

Food was great as usual however drinks are pricy and you don't get happy hour drink prices if you sit down for early dinner. Recommend buy & pay for drinks at bar, then sit down to eat.
I used to love Rosa... I would go there on birthdays and special occasions. This time, I went out with some business associates hoping to garner favor and impress them with tasty drinks, quality Mexican food, and table side guacamole. First, the waiter was awful... not just awful, but douchey and awful. He either actively rushed us or left before we were finished placing each part of our order. Yes, we ordered water, appetizers, drinks, and food separately despite being ready to order all four categories of items when we walked in. The drinks were meh. I, in particular, ordered a margarita and, to quote Milton Waddams sitting on the beach after burning down Initech, "I said no salt, NO salt on the margarita, but it had salt on it, big grains of salt, floating in the glass." From the taste of it, the salt was also dissolved in the overaggressive lime juice margarita mix. The queso dip was lukewarm and already coagulated, the guacamole was not made table side (huge bummer), and, despite requesting no cilantro due to an allergy (yes, cilantro tasting like soap is technically an allergy), cilantro ran rampant throughout all dishes. The main courses were similarly mediocre. Like the appetizers, everything came out lukewarm so as to say "we are so busy that we could not bother to bring you your food as it became ready nor place it under the heating lamp to give off the appearance of freshness." Overall, I think my days as a customer of Rosa Mexicano have come to an end.
Food was excellent! We had the table side prepared guacamole , chicken enchiladas suiza.
Our service was slow. We asked for sour cream twice and finally got it when we had finished eating. The place was loud. We had a hard time hearing each other. Overall the people were very friendly and the food was excellent. I would recommend and would definitely return.

Excellent food and ambiance, we went there for new year and had a good time.
Wait staff was not attentive. Had to get up twice to request dishes and utensils. When the food was brought it clearly wasn’t fresh. They managed to ruin churros as they were clearly not freshly done.

I was very disappointed by our meal at Rosa Mexicana Brickell. I have eaten at the ones in NYC several times and been happy. Although the atmosphere and service at Brickell were alright, the food was not good. It was also very pricey. I was sorry I wasted one of my vacation dinners at this spot.
Unfortunate that the manager was working on a holiday but I’m glad he was. He is on top of his staff and is a perfect example of professionalism in a town that lacks a lot of it. Great asset to the establishment.

The best guacamole in the world!! Great service!! It was my moms birthday and they let me bring in a mariachi. They even gave me complimentaryr desserts to celebrate! The place is really beautiful and charming. Everything was amazing.
Too expensive for the service. The music sucked, too. Their nuevos de tacos are really good. Unlimited drinks for brunch are a great deal.
