The service was awesome. The staff was friendly. The only thing is new guidelines about Covid can be informed in advance.
Overall had a great time! The manager or owner came over to our table to check to see how everything was going which was thoroughly appreciated. The service was very slow which was a bit frustrating but all and all a good time!
had the shrimp ceviche and the cod as a main course. I've been doing KETO and both dishes fit well with my diet. Food was outstanding. Service (Michelle) was excellent as well.
Fun Mexican place with some great flavors. Best thing I had was the side of plaintains, which were delicious. While the entrees were good, they didn't seem to put enough sour cream or guac with the food, which made it seem a little dry. Server was friendly, but never came back after the food arrived, so we didn't order a second round of drinks or get to ask for additional sides.
The menu options were immense and creative - the margaritas were the best we ever had, and the service was outstanding. Will be back!
Quiet Saturday lunch with two kiddos …. Slow but friendly service, some ingredients listed didn’t match what came out in dishes (which creates a challenge with picky children), lots of overcooked peppers and onions mixed into recipes dominated presentation, flavor and texture profiles, but the place was very clean and the decor was very inviting.
Micheladas were very bad, wey do not drink
The chamorro was very dry and not tasting, and the quesadillas were not tasting too
The carnitas and guavas drink were very good
The table need to be more cleaned
Food was excellent and came out quick . Wait staff was just nice . Only negative experience was when we arrived and told the manager we had a reservation. He looked at us first then told the hostess to take us to the table that was next to the noise and high traffic wait station and next to the patio door where people were going in and out in December . We asked to be moved as there were many other empty tables . After a few minutes they moved us .
Food was delicious. Service was a little slow, but not that it was an issue. We did have to ask our server a few times for the check and then there was an issue on the check that he did quickly resolve. Paloma’s were delicious, margaritas could have been better.
Mediocre food. Service was super slow. The place was quite dirty. My feet were sticking to the floor as they don’t seem to cleaned spills etc in a long long time. Worst experience I have had while paying top dollar for their garbage.
Great Food with Even Better Drinks
Mediocre service and food. I was expecting more. It was just ok.
Brunch is great. Jalapeño cornbread terrific !
The food was exceptionally delicious! The guacamole made at the table was superb. As with every establishment these days they appeared short staffed. The gentleman host who checked us in was not at all warm and inviting which was our first impression but our waitress was pleasant.
Got to our reservation early. Didn’t mind waiting since we were early - Sat there watched tables stay empty the entire time we were there. Finally sat- no red sangria left. Ordered apps… the apps never came. The waitress had no idea and was about to give us the bill. Then we informed her and she brought them out after the meal. Nothing was comped. Sad because the food was good. Drinks are not strong.
It’s incredibly noisy. Impossible to hold a conversation unless you’re willing to yell to reach the person seating in front of you. Too bad because the food and service are good.
Very loud. Not a place for conversation.
Each time we go the food quality has decreased
Slow service. We had vegetarian selections. Portions were small and overpriced although the food tested good.Service was slow and patchy.
We sat at the bar while our table was being prepped and we had an awesome bartender. Made us a couple drinks not on the menu and lit a couple drinks on fire (safely). I would definitely go back.
LOVED the guacamole, margaritas and entrees our server recommended - the atmosphere is nice and fun at the same time!
Great experience, I’m happy to find a place with some vegan options
We have been to Rosa Mexicana in Manhattan several times. We decided to try the Boston Seaport version for brunch last weekend. The food is good but not outstanding. The service is amateur but friendly. Overall, the ambiance is not the same as the one near Lincoln Center in Mew York
I loved the impossible chorizo chille relleno. The tres leches was not good.
Server forgot to put in our order. Fresh guacamole but did not have much flavor.
Wonderful experience. Service was terrific and food was fresh, hot and tasted great. Our first time at this Rosa M but we will certainly be back!
Great experience overall!! Will be back real soon. P
Food was great, the service was a tad slow, but all in all I would and will come again.
An interesting experience to say the least. We first got there and had to wait 10 minutes even though we had a reservation. Once seated, it was frantic. Our waiter, while entertaining, seemed like he was hammered. I know everywhere is short staffed, so we did not mind having to wait for food and drinks (that took forever). The food was not great. Would go back just for the experience of the hectic waiter, but that’s about it.
Service was a little slow in the back bar area but great experience overall. The guac is a must try
Service and food was great. Relaxing atmosphere made the night even more enjoyable.
If you want outdoor
Arrived on reservation time. Took 15 minutes just to be seated. No one to greet, and waiter never came to get our order or serve water. We left after 10 minutes of waiting.
Excellent Mexican Food! Great location and atmosphere!
Went here with my brother and my hubby delish food and wonderful Service I had the chicken quesadilla it was delicious and i am not a fan of big spicy food and this food was not spice the waiter was nice and attentive my hubby got a chicken dish with tortilla he said that was delicious as well and my brother got the tres enchiladas he said it was really good and the drinks are delicious too I highly recommend coming here for dinner
Seated promptly at reservation time. Nice atmosphere, modern and lively but you could converse fine.
The food was delicious and gourmet. The only negative was the service was a bit slow. It was not our servers fault. She was very pleasant and helpful. Likely struggling to get staff like everyone else caused by the pandemic. Manager did come around asking everyone if they were happy and how the service was so I give him credit for gauging the situation. 5 stars without this note.
The food was good; however, there was a lot of miscommunication among the staff as to who was serving us. There were two other tables seated after us who received water and their food way before us and no one came until we asked who was serving us. Once we did receive a server, she was very kind and apologetic however, the management did nothing to acknowledge and we had a reservation. The main course took 40 minutes to arrive and no one came by to apologize or update us on the time. Overall, food was okay but service especially management and hospitality was subpar.
Food was terrific, including shrimp ceviche, pork empanadas, carnitas (with nice corn tortillas) and very good fried fish tacos. Drinks were excellent.
The wait team was understaffed - i waited five minutes at the hostess table for a waitress/waiter to come to the front and greet me. A second round of drinks took a long time but the waitress/bartender made up for it by upgrading our tequila quality for round 2, on the house.
