As our first location to open in the South, the Atlantic Station Rosa Mexicano combines Rosa’s trademark authentic Mexican cuisine and stylish, festive atmosphere with Atlanta’s southern hospitality to offer a unique dining experience. Wonderful Christmas Eve dinner. The food and service were great. Our table had a great view if the giant Christmas tree and snow effects in the square. We really enjoyed.

Great! Not “the same old” Mexican food - it was creative and tasty while still familiar. Really enjoyed the enchiladas and guacamole. Terrific margaritas too!

Service was terrible. Served us a warm can of cold glass. Barely saw our waitress - the food was average and over priced. This was terrible!! I wouldn't waste a dime on this restaurant! Too many great places in Atlanta to waste a second in this place.

The employees went above and beyond for us when our party size changed last-minute from 6 to 9! The staff were so understanding and accommodating. Thank you for a fantastic experience! We’ll be back! (Oh, BTW - the food was great, too!)

We had the table side guacamole and it was wonderful! I could t stop eating the fresh chips with the homemade salsa. My main dish was the enchilada trio. All three were very good but I love the mole one so much I will get that one only next time. Service was friendly and prompt. My friend had the holiday margarita and loved it too! My husbands carne asada was tender and flavorful. One of our favorite places at Atlantic Station!

Not only was the food very, very good, but the wait staff was excellent - got us in and out in plenty of time for a performance we were attending. Our waitress was so personable and accommodating. The best thing was that we got tied up in unbelievable traffic trying to get to Atlantic Station, and the restaurant held our reservation (table for 6). We were almost 45 minutes late!!! Although we had called to say we were going to be late, we never expected to be seated immediately upon arrival - because we were SO late. But seated we were - right away - and we really appreciated that!!! Would recommend Rosa Mexicana anytime!!!

In to celebration a promotion, so we had a long leisurely lunch. It was delicious and Jonah was fantastic. He gave great recommendation and did a great job of attending to our needs while leaving us alone to celebrate.

This was a great choice! We loved everything! Our server was very knowledgeable and all of his recommendations were spot on. You can’t miss with this place no matter what the occasion. The food was so good I couldn’t even do dessert. Although it was so tempting. It was a great date night!

Tableside guacamole was prepared with Avocado's that were not ripe. Taste was very unpleasant.
Steak quesadilla was mediocre at best.
Overall very disappointed with food.

My wife has been insisting for ages that we go to Rosa Mexicana, and I had resisted bravely until last week, when we had to go to Atlantic Station for a show. We live in Dunwoody and very few restaurants are worth the drive. This is one is.

I travel to Mexico once a month, and know the country (and the food) very well. Mexico is a very diverse country, and the food reflects that. You can spend a year eating a different dish every night, and you still will not have covered the whole country.

Covering (some of) the country is what this restaurant tries to do, each dish comes from a different state. Though most of them are variations on well known themes, they do reflect some of the particularities of each area. Many of my Mexican friends would scream that this is just a cliffs notes version of Mexican cuisine, and they'd be right, but it is worth it because you get to see some of the very tasty geographical variety (instead of all tex-mex), and because the food is GOOD.

Order the Guacamole (prepared at the table with fresh avocados). I don't think much of Guacamole, and I LOVED this.

Great service too, our waiter was Luis, and he knows his stuff. Brought me the bill early without being asked because we were going to Cirque du Soleil. That earned him an extra tip.

Disappointing for a special occasion that was not acknowledged. Apparently, this was either not communicated by Open Table or the reservation notes were overlooked. Restaurant acted blameless. They did offer to do something about it, but the moment for acknowledgement was lost. Table side guacamole was bland, though preparer was lovely and accommodating. It is wildly overpriced at $15 plus. My large portion of salmon was surprisingly delicious as was my margarita. Birthday boy’s tres enchiladas were of average quality but not average price. Wouldn’t go again for a special occasion, but maybe before or after a movie. Bottom line: pleasant service can’t make up for price/quality discrepancy.

This was absolutely the worst Mexican food I have ever been served. Soft tortillas were cheesy and thick not tasty. Queso was so thick and full of cheese you could not enjoy any flavor. Quesadillas were cold.

Drinks were good- Margaritas.

Would never suggest this restaurant to anyone for any occasion

We arrived about 15 minutes before our reservation and were seated immediately, as the restaurant was about 20% full. I was glad they could accomodate us. The menu was interesting and it was hard to choose from multiple appealing entrees. Unfortunately, our server was highly inattentive. During our meal, the restaurant increased to about 60% seating capacity, but was by no means overwhelmed and seemed to have adequate wait staff. Our server was friendly, but we could not get his attention to help us with any of our needs. The dining room is open and we could see him almost constantly, but he never looked our way in order for us to flag him down. For the price point of this restaurant I expected better. The food was good, but I was disappointed in the service and likely won't return.
