Everything we ate was delicious! (Duckfat fried chicken, cappelletti, pork belly, red fish, cornbread, yams, fried green tomatoes) Bree took great care of us and explained the menu well. Live music was a nice surprise. We had a great time!

The food is always delicious at Roots! The Springtime Pea Salad was my favorite this time. It was so fresh and crunch with an amazing dressing! I wish it was on the menu permanently!

We love coming back! The squash blossoms wee a perfect summer surprise…so good! The New Zealand lamb chops and the fried chicken were delicious. Service by Trey was 5 stars!

Maddy was an amazing server and was the food runner he kept our water glasses filled! I had the crab spinach pasta and it was sooo good. The fried chicken was good, but not earth shattering. The drinks were also super good! I had the purple rain and my friend had a drink with pear in it and it was also really good. The orange butter cake was AMAZING!!!

First time trying. Enjoyed all of the food. Nice atmosphere, kinda loud. Live music with trumpet & keyboard was a nice touch. Please consider adding another location in the Southern sector of DFW (ie. Desoto, grand prairie, etc) and lowering some prices to reach more clientele.
