By way of using a variety of locally sourced ingredients and exercising more eco-conscious decision making, together we are supporting dozens of local farmers and artisans and fulfilling our responsibilities for a "greener" environment. Not what I expected. Price are way too high, fine dining prices just did not make sense in this place. Curtains, fan were dirty and sound blockers on ceiling had thick heavy lint and dust hanging from it. I feel if you’re lucky enough to own a restaurant take pride in it and clean it. The food was good, had sandwiches to try first before jumping to an entree that most were between 40 and 48 dollars. They were good but probably won’t come back.

Food and service were so great. We enjoyed it. However, the interior is so run down anymore. Chipped paint. Peeling ceilings. I would still recommend but would be sure they know what to expect.

Wow, just wow. As my boyfriend would say, “small space, big flavors.” From the cute ambiance, to the phenomenal service, to the outstanding food my boyfriend and I were blown away. The heirloom tomato’s were out of this world and full of flavor. I got the short rib and my boyfriend got the stuffed chicken. Both were exceptional and we couldn’t have been happier. This is a west chester must and beats any of the bigger spots in town! Book a table here and you won’t be disappointed ! We will be back !

The food here was outstanding. My wife and I got seafood bisque, short ribs, and a hot chicken sandwich. All were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

It was our first time dining at Roots. We thoroughly enjoyed our night. Service was exceptional as was the food. I enjoyed the brown sugar jalapeño margarita and my mushroom bisque was the best anywhere. My husband loved his pumpkin bisque and spicy chicken sandwich. Our server was so nice too. We’ll be back again.
