Roots + Seeds Kitchen Garden brings together a sustainable, home-grown and locally sourced dining hub to The Old Kennels in the heart of Cirencester Park, whilst embracing the wider community.

Roots + Seeds café and restaurant together with a children’s area a new beautifully designed light and airy space with vaulted ceilings and large windows. Outside, two courtyards provide dining spaces divided by edible flower and herb-filled raised beds, with access to a new and exciting outdoor children’s play area, as well as the kitchen garden.

Farm to Fork Dining
Open for coffee, breakfast, brunch and lunch daily and for dinner Thursday – Saturday. Modern, fresh, seasonally changing Farm to Fork menus of Modern British dishes with French influences and daily specials. We showcase the beautiful produce delivered by our trusted suppliers and growers within a 25-mile radius of Cirencester Park, alongside our own home-grown produce freshly picked each morning from our on-site Kitchen Garden.

The Scenic Supper is back for July + August. Before Roots + Seeds, there was The Scenic Supper—an intimate dining experience with breathtaking views, nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds. Created as a solution for social distance dining during the pandemic, it was a unique and innovative way to enjoy a dining experience. We're excited to bring this experience back. Join us for a memorable evening in the Kitchen Garden at Roots + Seeds, Cirencester, Scenic Supper style. Dine in one of five bespoke glasshouses and savour four locally sourced, seasonal, and expertly curated dishes. A selection of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits will also be available. July : 4th | 5th 18th | 19th 25th | 26th August (on sale from 1st July) 1st | 2nd 8th | 9th 15th | 16th 22nd | 23rd £45 pp - bookings of four people only. 50% of the payment is required as a deposit. 6.30pm for cocktails in the garden. Dinner served at 7pm Carriages at 10pm We are hoping for hot weather but it is England so bring a coat. If the weather is truly awful we will move the evening inside to our Roots + Seeds Venue. Five Tables of Four only - limited spaces available.

Thanks to Sam and team for your amazing energy and enthusiasm! Our party of 16 plus 13 doggies were made to feel incredibly welcome and we all had a superb lunch!

Very busy, and buzzy vibe, friendly staff. We were there for a meeting, and were pleasantly surprised to find that the buzz didn't deter our conversation. The menu is very attractive with multiple temptations for all three of us with very divergent tastes. My meal wasn't as good as I had hope, perhaps because of my usual request to keep mayonnaise at bay. Despite lengthy discussion when ordering, I struggled to find out whether the mustard sauce on my reuben was mayonnaise based and I think that impacted the quality of the sandwich - the double gloucester cheese was just grated cheese sprinkled on the sandwich, rather than either a slice of good quality cheese or melted cheese. I assume that the kitchen simply made a substitute rather than better describing the mustard sauce, the latter of which would have allowed me to order one of the three or four other dishes I was tempted by. I also felt the type of filling called for softer sliced bread rather than a crusty roll, (it felt like I had the ends of a loaf). Overall, a very pleasant meal in a very tidy and relaxed atmosphere.

Went on sunday, was really looking forward to the sharing board but they had started the summer menu and it was not avaliable. Adults roast was quite nice, beef was well cooked, lovely veg options especially the hispi cabbage but the roast potatoes were very disappointing greasy and hard to cut into. Poor childrens options and burger came in a toasting muffin, which looked dry and unappetising and my daughter barely ate half. Shame there was no childrens roast option. Was just under £100 for 2 adults and 2 children mains only, which felt excessive given the room for improvement.

Really disappointed with my cheese burger. It was tasteless, boring & overpriced, but the fries were delicious. Perhaps using tastier cheese, adding a slice of bacon, some relish & a burger bun that’s not dry would work much better. Shame as the location is great, lovely staff & a great ambiance, but was most definitely not worth the money.

Efficient, friendly staff. Lunch was a very generous salad even though it was a side portion.i. Chips were the best ever. Light and airy restaurant, down flight of steps. Good for families with toddlers as play area inside restaurant and outside.
