Roots + Seeds Kitchen Garden brings together a sustainable, home-grown and locally sourced dining hub to The Old Kennels in the heart of Cirencester Park, whilst embracing the wider community.

Roots + Seeds café and restaurant together with a children’s area a new beautifully designed light and airy space with vaulted ceilings and large windows. Outside, two courtyards provide dining spaces divided by edible flower and herb-filled raised beds, with access to a new and exciting outdoor children’s play area, as well as the kitchen garden.

Farm to Fork Dining
Open for coffee, breakfast, brunch and lunch daily and for dinner Thursday – Saturday. Modern, fresh, seasonally changing Farm to Fork menus of Modern British dishes with French influences and daily specials. We showcase the beautiful produce delivered by our trusted suppliers and growers within a 25-mile radius of Cirencester Park, alongside our own home-grown produce freshly picked each morning from our on-site Kitchen Garden.

Roots + Seeds is unveiling a new Pop-up dining experience this June. Before Roots + Seeds, there was The Scenic Supper—an intimate dining experience with breathtaking views, nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds. Created as a solution for social distance dining during the pandemic, it was a unique and innovative way to enjoy a dining experience. We're excited to bring this experience back. Join us for a memorable evening in the Kitchen Garden at Roots + Seeds, Cirencester, Scenic Supper style. Dine in one of five bespoke glasshouses and savour four locally sourced, seasonal, and expertly curated dishes. A selection of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits will also be available. Four nights in June 6th | 7th | 13th | 14th £45 pp - bookings of four people only. 50% of the payment is required as a deposit. 6.30pm for cocktails in the garden. Dinner served at 7pm Carriages at 9pm We are hoping for hot weather but it is England so bring a coat. If the weather is truly awful we will move the evening inside to our Roots + Seeds Venue. Five Tables of Four only - limited spaces available.

The food was excellent, well presented . The vegetables were in separate dishes which I really liked. The food was a good sized portion. The wine choices were very pleasant. The venue was light and airy. I have recommended it on WhatsApp.

We come to Roots and Seeds quite a lot. It’s great atmosphere, food and drink are excellent. It is also very child friendly which is important to us as we have an energetic grand daughter

Roots & Seeds is a really interesting idea, well executed. It is a friendly, relaxed and child friendly restaurant that serves excellent, high quality food with friendly efficiency. We visited for Mother’s Day lunch. They were very busy but extremely accommodating when traffic made us late. The food is really excellent. All the adults and older children had roast lunch. The meat was delicious and well presented. The vegetables were almost the star of the show though - often overlooked and underwhelming with roasts they were the opposite. Sweet perfectly cooked carrots, leeks in a creamy sauce, crispy roast potatoes, red cabbage and cauliflower cheese. The youngest of us had a nicely cooked burger, chips and salad. The only thing to be aware of is that it is a noisy environment. Its child friendly nature means that there were a lot of families with young children. If you are looking for a peaceful adult lunch, weekends and holidays may not be the time to visit but we didn’t mind this. When our children were younger we would have loved being able to eat super food without worrying that we were annoying other diners. The service was quick and excellent. We then enjoyed walking off the feast in Cirencester Park. With a location like this they could have put in a standard “National Trust” style cafe but they have done something much more interesting and it’s really worth a visit.

A bustling cafe in parkland on the edge of town, which was perfect for lunch and better still, a cafe that you can book, which isn’t always easy to find. They had a varied menu and catered easily for various dietary needs, so no one was left without a choice, and some very different and delicious options on the menu at a very reasonable price.

This is a confused place, can’t decide if it’s a restaurant or a cafe. Food is good, tho quite limited. Burger was very unimaginative tho still tasty. Service friendly but haphazard and chaotic. Really want to like this place, just not sure.

We really enjoyed food, it was very good and yummy. The atmosphere was very busy for us, but we understand the idea of the restaurant.It's a family place and it's great.Maybe if the weather is warmer we could sit outside and enjoy calmer environment.Thanks.
