I was able to make a reservation on Open Table but when we arrived (2 hour drive from Page, AZ) the restaurant was closed. When you try calling, the phone is disconnected. Open Table needs to remove them. Recent Yelp reviews confirm it is closed. Go across the street to Tinderbox Kitchen.

The restaurant was closed - out of business! Brown paper over the windows and no lights! How can Open Table still be booming reservations for it?! Very disappointing!

Made reservations through open table only to show up to the restaurant to find out that it was closed. Not sure how this could have happened, as I was sent a confirmation text the day before confirming my reservation. Fail!

Root Public House is a real find near NAU. The friendly, attentive and informative service is exceeded only by the delicious food and specialty drinks. Everything on the menu is a hit. We especially like the 5 spice ribs and the shrimp and grits.

Booked this for my birthday dinner after reading the reviews . Root had it all, causal yet thoughtful ambience, attentive service and outstanding appetizer offering “the Board”. Only tweak for me would be less volume on the house music although I did like the mix.
