This staff went above and beyond! One of the best places I have been in terms of food and service in a long time! Accommodated my diet and went above and beyond for me. I really had the best time and would 10/10 recommend to everyone.

Street parking(free) can be tough but there is a pay parking lot right across the street for $5. Totally worth it and very convenient

Overall very good spot, all food and drinks were consistently tasty. The menu is pretty limited, and most dishes have lots of interesting ingredients, so this is more of a boutique/foofy place. Service is excellent, and the restaurant is very nice (although we ate 'outside' in the closed-in patio space, which was fine).

I can see why Root Down is consistently near the top of Denver's restaurant scene. Great atmosphere, wonderful service, innovative cocktails, and excellent food and selection. We'll go back soon!

The food is always excellent. The only complaint I have is that it was chilly with the doors open.

Chose Root Down as our first indoor dining experience since Covid and they did a great job as expected. Ambience was amazing as always, our drinks were perfect, and the food was amazing for the most part - the special salad was just a little off and the special short ribs could have used a little bit more seasoning. I think that’s the first time anything has been less than perfect. It was a great night out and I applaud Root Down for their professionalism as always but even more so during Covid!

First time back since COVID! Root Down did not disappoint! Food was great! So was the service. Changes to the layout for Covid made tremendous success! Hope to be there more often.

We came to this restaurant with our children. My young sons found it extremely distracting to see a very large picture of an almost nude woman on the wall. If she had not been in our sight, we would have LOVED this restaurant.

The food is always wonderful here! The winter gnocchi plate did not live up to the quality of the carrot gnocchi which was previously on the menu. Dessert was phenomenal. Overall a great meal!

We went for Valentine’s Day. We had an amazing time. The food was soooo tasty and our server Marika was amazing! We will definitely be back.

Spent Valentine’s Day here and the food was wonderful! Our server was very friendly and everyone was helpful. Awesome drink selection!

Really impressed with the staff, service and food as well as the pandemic precautions being taken. Really a great experience.

It was not worth the price. 1) Their insulated porch is not constructed well, with a gap between the canvas that made me feel as if I was in air conditioning. 2) the sweet potato fries seemed as if they were from the bottom of the bag, crunchy/small/unappealing.
Service was great though, and I like the way this restaurant looks on the inside.

Food was good - we went for a late lunch and didn't feel like there was a lot to choose from on the menu. Vego friend really wanted something hot as it was freezing out but not much of a selection.

We really enjoyed our dining experience at one of the huts on Saturday! Our waiter was very friendly & went above and beyond to make sure that we had a positive experience.

A gluten-free birthday celebration - a really perfect evening! The food was wonderful - don’t miss the scallops! Masking, distancing and dining in a heated hut on the patio made us feel safe.

Tiffany is the best server, and the food is amazing, as usual.

We love the food at Root Down, but they’re having problems with staffing, perhaps as a result of just-relaxed Covid restrictions (more patrons than they are used to?) and/or recent minimum wage increases (trying to do the same kitchen work with less staff?). Wait staff were inattentive, sweet potato fries ordered as appetizer were warming-lamp warm, not fryer-fresh hot. Asked for ketchup for the fries, never received it. Took an unusual amount of time for food to arrive.

Our server only had one table in our seating area, perhaps she was overworked with too many tables in other parts of the restaurant?

We’ll be back, but maybe in 6 months when they’ve had time to iron things out. The food is still great, as long as it hasn’t been sitting under the warming lamp for too long

First time having brunch here. Went for my mother’s birthday and it did not disappoint. We had doughnut holes, the breakfast burrito, huevos rancheros and pancakes. Everything was super delicious and we would definitely go back again!

Amazing in the little outdoor individual green houses- they matched their excellent food and service with a super safe environment. My first time eating out in an age and I felt totally safe and superbly well fed.

Food is always excellent and we absolutely loved our waitstaff. She was so attentive and sweet.

Rootdown always amazes the taste buds, from cocktails,apps, entrees and dessert. Perfect fit for everyone in our group with wide range of dietary restrictions.

Excellent services as always. I was a little disappointed by the lack of veggie options, but realize that the pandemic has destroyed supply chains. That said, the food that we did get was quite delicious, the staff very accommodating and kind, and a home run experience.

Whenever in Denver we always stop by Root Down. The food is always prepared to perfection, they offer cool atmosphere and great ambiance! Love this place can’t wait to come back in February!
