When we first started serving food in 2016, we just wanted to show people that plant-based food could be more than healthy, but a meal that is satisfying and inspired. The entirely plant-based brunch and dinner menus have options that will be adored by all. Being in Buffalo, we have put our stamp on local favorites, while also pairing west + east coast flavors for a unique menu right in our hometown. We wanted to create a space that was charmingly vintage, while still fresh and modern. A space that you'll want to come back to, again and again, to meet friends on the weekends.

Fabulous experience at Root and Bloom. We had one member of our party stuck at work and they were very accommodating. Food was excellent. My daughter in law is vegetarian and it was her birthday so it was a perfect fit. My son and I are not and it was still a perfect fit. Waffle taco was great. Seating is limited so reservations are a must.

I made a reservation for 4 of us, and I’m glad I did because it was busy! The place is small but cozy. Unique decor like mismatched vintage furniture and plates. Great food with something for everyone (even non vegans). Will be going back!

It was my first time there, and just from the outside I felt like I was in NYC somewhere. I loved everything about the place before I even sat down. The staff was great, the food amazing, and despite the fact that I was with a friend, I eat everything. I guess she wasn't hungry. This will be a favorite go to moving forward. If you care about clean eating this is your place. Thanks for being here.

Very cozy-although, it is a very tiny place. Our waitress was sweet & nice but the service was a bit slow and she was not as attentive as I'd hoped. The food was quite good but the coffee and non-dairy creamer were not. I was a slightly disappointed with my experience.

This place is such a gem. Vegan friendly restaurants are not popular in Buffalo so it’s so refreshing to have somewhere to eat out.

My new favorite restaurant in Buffalo! Amazing vegan food that even non-vegans will love. I have had the jackfruit buffalo wings, french onion soup, cauliflower steak, and the pedro (breakfast taco thing on a waffle). Everything I've had was great.

One of my favorite vegan restaurants ever! The food is outstanding and you can most definitely convert any vegan skeptic into realizing that vegan food doesn't mean raw veggies.

We loved the charcuterie board appetizer and the restaurant was beautiful, but our entrees were not good. My husband's dish was served cold and didn't have any flavor, and my dish just didn't taste good. We did not feel they were worth the hefty price tag. Also be advised that this restaurant only accepts CASH tips.
