I Have eaten there several times and thoroughly enjoyed it. However, this visit was not up to par. The waiter was not particularly attentive and rarely checked on us. We had to wait 20 minutes or more for our entrées, and they were not delivered by the waiter. With the lack of attention and subpar service, I did not order the dessert, for which I had saved room, but paid the bill and left. I have seen them deliver better service on busier evening.

We've been a fan of Rooster's for many years, both uptown and South Park. The food continues to be good, although the side order of asparagus was terrible and they didn't charge us for it. They said it must be a bad batch, but if so, why bring it to our table! It was stringy and shouldn't have been brought to the table.

Something we've noticed in our last few visits is a tendency to rush us through our meal. We just sat down and within seconds the bread arrived and after ordering our meals, they arrived within seconds! I kid you not. I joked and said they must have read my mind as I walked in. I don't think this is a good trend in a restaurant and the once reliable Rooster's is becoming a place I'll think twice about visiting. We haven't experienced this at South Park and hopefully it's just happening at the Uptown location. Possibly Jim Noble is distracted!!

The food was excellent, and the wait staff was very attentive. Unfortunately, we had a rather rambunctious group a few tables over who had spent most of the day on the golf course doing more drinking than putting. It was impossible to carry on a conversation at a moderate level and be heard across the table.

The food was amazing! We got greeted immediately and was given directions as to where we should go, which was upstairs. I initially arranged for a dessert for a birthday but because we were sooo stuffed we could not even get to the desserts! Our waiter, Grant was exceptional he had an impressive knowledge of the menu and gave advice on what to get. Everyone greeted my mom in law with Happy birthday and went the extra mile. The hostess was cute and funny, she was jokey as well. I noticed that there was two men who were always walking around making sure that all the tables were attended to and that every thing was going good and not just by not just our table. The chefs I could see always keep an eye on the guests to see if we were enjoying it too. I would like to thank even the younger gentleman that were always making sure the bread bowls were full and olive oil plates were filled. Overall the communication between the staff was great! Thank you! I can seriously not wait to come back for the short rib, I was way too impressed by the Duck on the menu! The Food was really really really amazing!! Oh did I say that already?! Hahahaha

Rib meat not served on the bone gave me the impression if was processed. Served as a square meat patty. This was a house special - hmmm.

Great service.

My only complaint is that we were told the wrong parking garage for validation. They said “the garage across from the Epicentre and across from Aria”. That is the Omni garage, but it’s the only one across from both Epicentre and Aria so we parked there and were forced to pay $22. I’m not really sure why they didn’t say “the garage entrance right next to our bar”. Other than that, our experience was a positive one.

Always a treat to visit Roosters. This was a dinner visit prior to the Symphony(very convenient).) Drinks were very goo and service was excellent. Enjoyed a light meal and desert. Would recommend Roosters for pre Symphony dining!

Remarkable experience! Originally made a reservation about 2 hours ahead of time, ended up having an extra person join us and arrived about 20 minutes early. Regardless, they sat us right away and got us an awesome booth. Grant was our server and he honestly might have been the best server we ever had. We almost asked him when he was getting off work to come grab beers with us. The food was incredible and had great portions. If you’re not sure what to get, get the wings. Thank you for turning a last minute get together into an awesome night! I never leave reviews but had to make sure I did for this dinner.

What can I say...I was very impressed. Our waiter Eric was excellent. He made several suggestions. From his suggestions we ordered the duck breast (medium well) the chefs nailed it!!!! We also ordered the smoked chicken wings...delicious. They were cooked to perfection. We started off with a kale ceasar salad and a mixed greens salad with a champagne vinaigrette. Our side items for the main course included grits with bits of bacon and buttered wilted spinach. Simply amazing!!!! The ambiance was awesome and in great location to the venue we were attending. I will definitely be back.

Overall really good experience. My first time at the restaurant. Overall the food was very good. The beets where outstanding. The service was above average but there were a couple long spans of time when we were looking for our waiter. While the food was good, it felt a little overpriced. All in all a good experience.

Our pre-theater staple. Great food, great service. If you like beets you gotta try the roasted beet side; and add some goat cheese to make it EXTRA special. Brisket burger is among my favs as is the hangar steak. Good wine selection too. Grant was our server and he was fantastic; very attentive and accommodating. Made sure our order arrived perfect.

The food at Rooster's was some of the best you will find anywhere. The preparation and attention to detail was first rate on all items we ordered. The staff was attentive and checked on us often once we were seated in the dining area. The bar also has a large selection of good options with many being local to the area. The only weak spot I found was after checking in the with hostess, and we did arrive early, we were instructed to check back in closer to our reservation time. A great hostess would have come to us and let us know when our table was ready versus placing that responsibility back on us.

The service and atmosphere were great. The food was pretty good as well. My only issue is the duck confit I got could have been hotter. I think it might have sat at the pass a bit too long.

My son and I had a reservation for Roosters for last Saturday night but, due to circumstances beyond our control, we found out that Saturday would not work, so we decided to try our luck going one night earlier. When we arrived, we were told that we would have about a 90 minute wait, but we could eat upstairs around the open kitchen - first come, first served. We decided to try that, but we weren't too comfortable. We weren't upset, since we had decided to try to come a night early, so we stayed.

One of the managers, named Bo, must have heard us talking or just noticed that we didn't look too happy, so he said "sitting near the kitchen has its advantages," and gave us a free appetizer - some cured meats and crostini - which was very good and much appreciated. A few minutes later, Bo told us that there had been a late cancellation and he had a table for us.

Meanwhile, Grant, our waiter, who had started out with us at the open kitchen seats, moved with us to the table. He was terrific, with good suggestions about the menu.

So the service at Roosters was beyond excellent - above and beyond what we could have expected coming to the restaurant on a busy Friday night without a reservation.

The food also exceeded expectations, which were high based on the reviews that my son and I had read. We had calamari for an appetizer. It was tender and cooked just right with a good marinara sauce. My son had the hangar steak, which he devoured after saying that it was cooked just right. I had the smoked chicken wings, which were juicy with a crispy skin. Really tasty. My son and I shared two sides, asparagus and mac and cheese - both very good and it is difficult to get fresh asparagus cooked just right at a restaurant.

To top things off, my son had the brownie and vanilla ice cream dessert (which I shared a bit with him).

All in all, it was a great night out at Roosters. My son and I had a lot of fun and really enjoyed our meal.

Our expectations were totally surpassed. My wife, and this is GREAT testimony, said that this would be a good place for special meals like anniversaries, birthday's, date nights, etc. Absolutely loved the food from salads to entree's and sides...The Mac & Cheese and the fried corn were superb.

The food here is spectacular! Our server was very knowledgeable as well. Only drawback I'd say on the uptown location is the frequency of large groups on business meetings. This can slow down service.
