Went to Roosters before a show, food was well prepared and flavorful, service was great and personable. Overall great experience and farm to table! Worth a trip.
Arrived for early dinner(4:30) so things were very quiet for first hour. 3-some ordered several menus items to share and all were excellent. Service was very prompt but unobtrusive. Food arrived freshly plated and sizzling hot. We expected to bring home leftovers but ate every bite! Excellent reasonably priced bottle of wine. Can’t wait to go back!
Our chicken was not warm. They do chicken for a living...
The food in general is good. However, do not come here if you are lactose intolerant because this is not a priority for them. I asked if the vegetables could be made without butter and was told yes except the butter beans. Great. So I did not order butter beans but sure enough they cane to the table with loads of butter on them. I told the sever that they had butter on them and was told no they did not that it was olive oil that just tasted like butter. Then my husband pointed out that it was butter beans and that the sever had told us they could only serve those with butter. The server then says oh no I checked and they do not have butter on them. Then I pointed out that I had not ordered butter beans anyway because of the butter but instead ordered roasted corn. The server then brought roasted corn loaded with butter again. I gave up. Having been repeatedly told I was wrong I just did not eat it as it was too late to order something yet again. Still tipped 20% but moral of the story is don’t come here if you have dietary issues. Too bad because the mandarin sorbet was awesome and we were well taken care of otherwise.
Overall good, food was good, service was pretty slow. Waitress was very nice but just slow
Still would go back
We had booked a reservation but they seated us in the overflow seating in the back room. It did not have the same feel and we left disappointed after making the reservation.
The menu has been changed and a few of the most popular items were not listed or they were out of - disappointing
I have always enjoyed Roosers but this night underwhelmed.
Our service was very good however and she did a great job with recommendations!
This was our second attempt to love this place and it just didn't happen. Loud and too casual for the price and menu. Duck was cold, they ran out of asparagus and I have never eaten cold Derby pie. Just not great.
Service was good, food was mediocre and not worth the price. Kitchen and bar were both out of things, with such a limited menu they really don't have the ability to impress if ever item is not available. Visited uptown location and had a better meal.
Meal and service was fantastic from hostess to service ...
Corbin is great !
Pleasant experience! All good !
Loved it. Always good food and excellent service! It was my birthday!
Very diverse menu selections. My party thoroughly enjoyed fish, pork and poultry dishes. My dining partners raved about the oysters. I had the rotisserie BBQ chicken and au gratin potatoes. Both were very tasty. Service was excellent.
Be aware that the noise level (Sat evening) is very high. Don't expect to have a quiet conversation over dinner.
The experience was fine, just not enough that I'd recommend it.
I ordered wings and an order of Mac and cheese. My bill was $33.00 plus tip. I won’t be back.
The service was OUTSTANDING!!!! The food was okay, but not good for the price point.
One of our favorite restaurants. The food, wine, and service were all wonderful. Heartily recommended
I have been to the South Park restaurant on several occasions. They always have interesting appetizers, sides, good chicken wings and great BBQ CHICKEN. Everything is freshly made and they do interesting flavor combinations. Service can be somewhat inconsistent . Sometimes we have a great server who is very attentive other times we have one who isn’t. It’s to the point that we have started saving the names of the servers that we like so we can ask for their table. They could probably use some better staff training.
Remains one of our favorite spots in Charlotte. The service and food here are absolutely impeccable every single time.
New chicken bowl on special
Delicious and Healthy
Great mix of farm-fresh ingredients, original recipes, delicious food.
Great menu. Solid service. Wonderful ambiance and atmosphere. Too many menu favorites to list here... Just go. Try one of the new "chicken bowls"
They put us in the “private dining” room that they use for overflow. Felt a little like being at “the kids table”. and the service wasn’t great there either. Food was great as usual.
This is our third visit and by far the only bad one. My date's meal was missing one of the key components that was advertised as a part of this. Pointed it out and the item still never arrived until dinner was over. Server was pleasant and blamed the kitchen...but we were inconvenienced none-the-less.
The food is not near worth the price. Will not dine here again.
Hadn’t been in a while but so happy to be back. Food is always consistently good and our server was outstanding!
I loved my server and the food was great, the scene was nice and my daughter and I had a wonderful time.
Wonderful overall experience. Outstanding servive, ambience and food quality and prep
Food was tasty. However, it was quite obvious that they brought in additional staff as well as rented tables to take advantage of Valentine’s Day. We were seated in a hallway that had rented tables (metal legs with stickers and chairs that were different than the inside of the restaurant) and fake plants. They did try and spruce up the space, but for a $100+ meal the abandoned 1990s shopping mall ambiance didn’t cut it. A bit shortsighted by the restaurant in my opinion. Regular customers can make or break a business. The overall experience did not create a returning customer out of me. While the regular part of the restaurant is quite trendy, I wouldn’t risk returning due to the weird experience we had.
My husband and I visited Roosters for Valentine's dinner, based on recommendations from our friends and co-workers. It did not disappoint!! We live in Concord, so going to the South Park area is a bit of a drive, however, the food and atmosphere was well worth the drive!! We love trying new restaurants and we highly recommend Roosters, if you have not been there. Everything was wonderful, from the food, to the service and also the eclectic and beautiful atmosphere. We will be back in the near future!!
We had a nice lunch at Rooster's Southpark on Valentine's Day. Not romantic but nice ambiance except for the loud music and the noisy kitchen. Our table was next to kitchen. Be sure to ask for a table away from the kitchen. Food was freshly made with good ingredients, especially the fresh veggies (corn and lima beans) and the chicken wings.
They had amazing food and great service! Perfect for a special occasion.
First time and was very happy. Small portions for the price but food is excellent. Service was great
Always the best food and service
Excellent service and food. Noise volume is high so hard to even visit with husband across the table from me.
Our waitress Rebecca was fantastic. We were celebrating my fiance's big work promotion and she did a fantastic job of making the evening fun and comfortable for us. She had great suggestions on wine and dinner options. She was attentive and timely. Fantastic food and a great evening! We love coming here!
Rooster’s is always wonderful. Service is great, food is delicious.
We had a group of 5 and were seated in the "satellite" dining room across the atrium. It was a not enjoyable. We would have enjoyed our experience a lot more if we'd been seated in the main restaurant.
Took mom for her birthday. Food was great. Service was friendly and very helpful.
Food was fabulous
Excellent meal for adults and kids!
