Roo’s Leap Restaurant already has a great reputation… fresh ingredients cooked to order, and a friendly efficient service with a laid back Aussie attitude.Whether you’re looking for a great night out or you just can’t be bothered cooking, we’re sure we’ll have just what you’re looking for.

So what’s on the Menu? Well although we have an Aussie theme you’ll be pleased to know that Australians don’t typically eat Ostrich or Kangaroo… so neither do you! We have a fantastic international menu including our wonderful prime steak burgers, various warm sandwiches, steaks, salads, pasta dishes and, of course, our special “barbied” meat, chicken and fish dishes. We also have a number of vegetarian options. Our menu has over 50 dishes to choose from!

Please note we are dog friendly in our lounge during lunch hours only.

Roos leap in Montrose is a fabulous restaurant to dine at. Been a few times now and I’ve never been disappointed.

Great service, staff very attentive. Good selection of wine of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Food is delicious good quality produce used. Bit expensive but it was worth paying for a great time and food.

All staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was all delicious and the venue was lovely. Haven’t visited for many years but cant wait to return!

Family meal out and the big guys liked their incredible burgers, Aunty liked half portion fish and chips and I liked the duck salad with additional greens added on request. Service was gracious but leisurely, perhaps slow at times. The duck on the duck salad came with a couple of lethal bones, maybe need a bit of care with that. Excellent standard for the area and highly recommend.

We have been coming to Roos for many years for special occasions and just good food nights out in general the food is always amazing the menu is outstanding and the service is always good as well as value for money. Best restaurant in the area for something to suit everyone and a good evening out for a social dinner. Thanks again for another fab family birthday dinner

Had a lovely lunch yesterday. Service was absolutely wonderful. I had asked for a couple items to be taken off my wrap and our server was amazing she noticed they were still there before the plate was even on the table and had it remade. Was remade so quickly. Loved out experience!

We had a lovely meal on a busy Saturday evening. Food was delightful, albeit big portions. Attentive staff and met all our requirements. We always enjoy coming to Roo’s for a meal.
