The Titanic experience was very unique and we enjoyed the actors, the story, the private room, and the food. Very well done!
What a wonderful night. The food beef was unbelievable and so was the dessert. Everything else was okay and the titanic theme was enjoyable
We went to the Titanic room service experience. The “crew” were energetic and attentive and the atmosphere wonderful. The courses were spaced well and were delicious. Would recommend.
A spectacular evening with excellent food and drink and wonderfully curated entertainment. A great idea, well executed, and I wish for more like this.
Room Service at the Goodwin - Titanic theme. What a lovely evening we had! Food was great, and the experience was even greater. Highly recommend. Kitchen was sensitive to my food allergies, and modified the menu to accommodate them. Everything fit in with the theme - choice of cocktails, menu, even a curated Spotify playlist to listen to. And private dining is FABULOUS; our waitress was attentive without being intrusive. The actors for the evening were wonderful. Definitely a time to dress up and enjoy First Class!
Enjoyed the entertainment but the food was not at the level I was expecting for the price. The peas and carrots and the potatoes sides were bland, beef was cooked well done (asked for medium rare). The butter for the biscuits was tasty and so were the desserts. The lamb was cooked well. Just wasn’t wowed by the meal itself. Overall an unique experience. The people who served us were wonderful and definitely made the evening fun.
This event was such a novel idea. All four of us enjoyed the entire evening, is setting the staff and after us, the food, the seating in our own private “1st class” suite where we are able to laugh and enjoy each other’s company while enjoying the entire event in solving the “mystery”. Sad to say we did not survive but we had an excellent dinner as we rode the ship down LOL
This was my first time dining at The Goodwin and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The food was superb and our server was delightful.
Had a great evening and dinner via the RMS titanic themed presentation at the Goodwin hotel!! Staff was very excellent in there dress and progression of the events that concluded our desert and after dinner drinks!! Bravo!! Please keep it going!
Enjoyable evening of dinner with excellent food and fun and friendly atmosphere.
We went to a special event, The last dinner on the Titanic. Simply fabulous, the food, the decorations, the servers in character, all just very well done. The six of us loved it.
It was a very pleasant and unusual experience. Each party was in a separate hotel room dining on the last dinner menu served in first class on the Titanic before it sunk. Food was good, but not exceptional, while the service was excellent. The staff added some intrigue about surviving the disaster with clues throughout the evening; this was a nice added touch. Overall, I would enjoy a similar experience in the future.
A very enjoyable theme dinner at a historic hotel in Hartford that was very nice. The experience was very good, the staff made the evening memorable and the food was good. A bit pricey but a nice evening out nevertheless.
The Titanic dinner concept was delightful and very enjoyable overall. Our only complaint was the price of half bottles of wine.
Titanic was an awesome dinner experience, great food and service paired with a story. Very authentic recreation of the last meal served on the ship.
Excellent atmosphere and service. The theatrical event of the Titanic adventure made the evening all the more special. Our group really enjoyed ourselves.
An amazing, unique and safe experience. Would definitely do again!
It started out great. We all sat in one room ordering drinks and looking at our people cards (who we were supposed to be). Then we went to our rooms. Looking in the safe and getting the cards was the funnest part of the evening. After that, it wasn't so great. The food was awful. We sat in our room for two hours by ourselves and saw no one. There was no story after that. We just sat there and ate bad food. Plus the bill was $350 for two people!!!! Outrageous. I could have just gone to Max Downtown and paid half that for a fabulous meal and extraordinary ambience. I will never do this again. Very disappointing and very expensive.
Already wrote this however went to look for photos so not sure the first one went thru.
We all had such a wonderful time. The theatrics of the whole thing was great. Food was delicious, service was great and accommodation was perfect (only us in the room, own bathroom, room temp 👍). We only hope you can do another themed event. Told many friends how great it was and they too hope you do something again. Sheena Landfear
Wonderful experience. All about being on the Titanic. Actors were great and food was even better. Very accommodating to our needs. Barley soup and asparagus salad first. Main courses- chicken, lamb and vegetarian were all great. Sides for sharing also. Desserts amazing. All four of us enjoyed the evening.
This was our first time at the Goodwin and granted it wasn’t a typical dinner but it was wonderful. The attention to detail was remarkable , the service excellent and the food exceptional. Our first impression was a WOW!!!
Beef and lamb cooked perfectly. The staff delightful and energetic!
We (6 of us) had a wonderful time. Even the teenage boys! The food was excellent and the story's fun.
We had a wonderful experience at the Goodwin Hotel. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. I would definitely go back!
After doing both the Titanic experience and the Yes-or-No Morgan experience, I can share my thoughts. The Morgan dinner was very expensive but all-inclusive and the food and liquor was excellent. It was worth every penny. A lot of thought went into keeping people separated and safe. The Titanic experience appeared cheaper, but we were charged for each drink and the drink prices were a little misleading. The wine prices were for half bottles but we thought they were full bottles and ended up spending A LOT on drinks. The food was very good, but not as good as the Morgan dinner. I would have preferred the all-inclusive price so you know exactly what you are paying for. Overall, they were both a lot of fun!
Great event! Can't wait for another one. Loved the dinner, theme, and the hotel stay, too.
Fun to be part of a story experience (Titanic themed). Great characters, pleasant sorry, and spectacular food. We did have a significant delay in receiving our ordered bottle of wine, which we were comped as it arrived after we finished our dinner.
Unique dining experience. Titanic dinner was a fun concept and dining in a beautifully appointed hotel room was special.
We did the Titanic dinner theater. Coincidentally our son had just received a job offer that day so we were celebrating. It was a delicious meal with a fun set up in a safe environment
We enjoyed the mystery and trying solve it with the clues in the room.
The food was amazing. The hotel is beautiful- we will consider a night there even though we live nearby. We loved the creativity of the Titanic theme.
Very enjoyable experience. Nice to do something different, and very nice to not have to wear a mask while doing almost all of it. Thanks.
Another creative and fun dinner experience at the Goodwin. The food and service were excellent!
Really cute idea and was a different and fun way to dine! Overall, had great night. However, we wished there was a little more mystery involved. And the food was good but not amazing, I think I had higher expectations.
Nothing like the Yes, No Morgan experience. The initial greeting and drink were nice but things went downhill from there. Lots of people and noise around our room. Door handle was broken and the Bluetooth speaker that was supposed to be on the mantle was missing. We went into our room and the first course was a cold, already plated soup. Printed "clue" cards were confusing and didn't always make sense. For example, one told us to be very careful for the "very hot broth" that was actually a very cold consomme. I did not eat the soup. The biscuits were good but would have been amazing warmed. I don't do well with dairy and am allergic to strawberries and when we came for the Morgan experience, the staff had clearly taken those issues seriously - I received a delicious dairy-free, strawberry-free and (for some reason) gluten-free meal for that visit. For the Titanic experience, there weren't opportunities to voice much other than my strawberry allergy (which I'll get to later). The main course was good but nothing like our last visit. We both had the filet of beef, which were cooked perfectly but we had to guess which was med rare and which was medium. The side dishes were not warm and one was clearly dairy, so that was a bummer. The other was a rice/raisin combo that neither one of us enjoyed. Both desserts were dairy, so that was also a bummer. At the end of the meal, we received a box with a combination lock on it - that actually had no bearing on whether or not you could open the box, which was strange. Inside were cookies filled with cream and berries. Now, I should say that the cookies are one of the most delicious I have ever tasted - but being dairy intolerant and allergic to strawberries (which I had alerted the staff to), I had to just nibble little bites around the edges because the "berry jam" wasn't identified. We had asked to only have service outside our room, with no staff entering. That was not honored. More to share but no room...
We absolutely loved this experience. It was a brilliant way to enjoy dining out in a safe way during Covid, with some added fun mixed in. The mystery part was fun while also being simple enough to relax and enjoy our drinks and dinner. One of the best nights out we have had in a long time. We will be back for the Titanic!
This was a beautiful experience! Absolutely lovely, and a great idea for the hotel to use their rooms in the era of Covid.
So much fun! I hope the concept continues beyond COVID.
This was so much fun! Totally contactless but everything was planned out so well. Highly recommend trying these ‘room service’ dinners!
Great way to get away for a dinner and activity all in one. Great food, atmosphere and amazing service.
