Appeared to be short-staffed but food was great!!
From the botched greeting at the host stand, to the late cocktails, to the undercooked brussel sprouts through to forgetting to bring us the dessert menu--it was not a great showing. The staff were friendly but unorganized. Great potential but they need to figure out what they want to be when they grow up.
Food was great, price point fair. The service was slow. We had to mention a couple of times to the waiter about retrieving drink orders as well as removing dishes from table.
Brought my mom here for a birthday dinner on Friday night. Service isn’t the greatest but the food and drinks were good.
Terrible!!! I don’t know if this was her first time ever serving but it was a party of 11 celebrating a birthday. She was overwhelmed, very slow, took food order first then the drinks last. Never checked on us or anything. It’s a shame the manager didn’t see or feel the need to assist her with the service. I ordered the pasta it was good but barely hot. Other members of the party ordered sushi which was good, but to top it off she charged my card 3x!!!!! Expected soo much more highly disappointed.
Our reservation was for 4:30, as we had a show to attend afterwards. Upon arrival we were told that that we couldn't be seated until after 5:00 (not a big deal). We went to the bar for a drink while we waited. 10 minutes later we were greeted and the couple beside us (who were still getting seated) were served. After waiting another 10 minutes we were asked if we would care to order.
We were double charged for our glasses of wine, with a $10 gift card for a future visit in case the extra charge didn't clear.
5:00 arrived and we paid the bar tab and were seated for dinner, where we sat for approximately another 10 minutes before anyone approached us. We ordered Oysters Rockefeller one additional glass of wine. 15 minutes later the wine arrived with the offer to order dinner. Dinner was ordered and we waited. Did I mention that we waited? 10 more minutes passed, still no appetizer. The Oysters finally arrived they were inedible (first time we've had Oysters Rockefeller with mustard). Several were also gummy and couldn't be eaten. The dining room manager inquired about the appetizer and we told her how awful they were. She said "well that's how we make our hollandaise", with no apology. Dinner was served almost an hour later and was fair.
We were paying partially with OpenTable points and the staff couldn't figure out how to handle it. Again no apologies.
We will NOT be back and suggest that you do not dine here either.
Sorry excuse for a restaurant that shouldn't be on OpenTable.
We were visiting Atlanta from out of town and booked reservations at this restaurant. We were so excited and traveled all the way from our hotel to the restaurant only to be turned away. The restaurant closed early with no notice to us because they were filming a movie. We were not informed of this and they turned us away at our scheduled reservation time, leaving us out on the street with nowhere to eat because many other restaurants were already closed. They just sent us away with no apology and no recommendations on where else we could go.
Waiting to be greeted by waiter 10 mins.
Table next to us stood up and left.
Ordered a bottle of wine and water and asked a question about a sauce in the menu.
Waited 10 more minutes.
No water, no wine, no answer.
We stood up and left. I don’t think they even noticed.
Plenty of better choices nearby.
We had a ladies lunch here. Great restaurant but wasn’t told the name is no longer Room at Twelve, so it was very difficult to find and park. The food and service was great! Hits were the adult grilled cheese, crab cake sandwich and steak salad. Great wine list too. We will be back! Please update the name on this site and all others.
Server was nice and needed more help.
Very slow service.
Food was great
Horrible service. Dirty chairs, table and glasses. We ordered a 3 egg breakfast and got two. The entire experience was odd.
Really don’t care for the new menu. Old menu was fantastic at breakfast and especially lunch.
Love the salmon, steak, burgers and fries. Clean , great service and comfortable seating. This must have been at least my 50th time eating at this establishment. I used to eat lunch at least 2 times a week in the summer when I worked across the street from the restaurant. Took my sister who ordered and loved the Cob Salad. She’s since gone back twice. I’ll be back.
Loved it! Food was great, staff was so nice and they made my birthday very special.
Once ambiance. Service was super slow.
It was terrible. It took them an hour to get our order, then our food and then the check. It took 3 hrs in total and we were the only people at the restaurant. It was terrible service . I would not recommend this place at all.
Great service and food. I would totally recommend to anyone that's looking for great flavor at a great price and really nice ambiance.
Food is very good. Was part of a large party (10). Staff was very accommodating. Original reservation was for 8 but were able to move to Iarger table on short notice. Service was very friendly but somewhat slow. We had one waitress, could have used 2. Not a deal breaker. Would definitely return next time in town.
Fantastic experience overall! Excellent service and the sushi is really high quality (we weren’t sure given how diverse the menu was). Our only complaint was neither of our meats were cooked to the temperature we requested. Would go back though for sure.
This was my second visit to this restaurant. I went a couple years ago for my birthday, and this year, when my best friend decided she wanted to go to Atlanta for her birthday, I knew this place was perfect. The atmosphere was awesome! They were playing awesome music, a nice R&B mix. Our server was attentive and never too far away. The food was delicious and the drinks were too! I ordered the Bistro Filet and substituted the asparagus for brussel sprouts. The steak was tender and cooked to perfection, the potatoes were fluffy and tender, and the brussel sprouts were cooked to perfection. My friend ordered the lamb chops which were cooked to the perfect temperature, the potatoes were crispy and her asparagus (from her opinion) was tasty. We shared the grilled sponge cake, and that was the perfect cap to the delicious meal. I will definitely be going back during m future visits to Atlanta.
Very slow poor service. The food was good when we finally got it. The restaurant wasn’t even busy.
Nice area set up for the girls get-together. The food was fresh, just AMAZING!!
Server was apparently new. It took 30 minutes to be told a bottle of wine was not available. The water was never refilled. We we overcharged fur the bottle of wine not available. The wrong steak was served. Nothing at all was comped as a result of poor service.
Charming place excellent service. Good was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend for a healthy delicious meal in the downtown area
I had eggs benedict for breakfast, yet unfortunately they were as good as those I have had in other locations.
Previously reviewed this establishment.
Love this Hotel. Awesome service and beautiful accomadations. Will stay here every time I travel here to Atlanta. Thanks
It was a wonderful experience. The staff was very attentive and made sure that everyone was accommodated. They explained the menu well. The prices were great and the quality of food was amazing. I will most definitely dine again.
Room at Twelve was great. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. The decor and live DJ was a bonus.
The food was great but service was terrible. It took three hours for dinner because our waitress kept disappearing.
Danielle was awesome . Food was amazing! Atmosphere was calming. Great dinner.
We were sat expeditiously, but we not able to order for a good bit of time. The server was more interested in wiping down already clean tables or being in the back area than taking our order. Wasn’t until the hostess/possible manager walked by and was flagged down that our order was taken. Of course the server popped up then once it’s been handled. We then had no check ins until the pre-meal salads arrived. Then ignored until the food was delivered. One meal was cold and the French fries were dry and stale. Wine refill was ordered when dinner arrived and the order was never put in. The filet was fantastic. The only saving grace. Won’t be dining here again.
This was our second visit. Everything was great this time. Food and service excellent. Valet parking was much better on this visit.
The ambiance and food was absolutely amazing! Was limited on customizing drink selections, but understandable during a huge gameday weekend in Atlanta. I ordered the Herb Chicken, which came with mashed potatoes and sautéed carrots. Food was extremely fresh and well prepared. Will definitely be coming back.
Took a team of 14 here for a business dinner. Great ambiance. Great food. And can't beat 1/2 price sushi rolls on Tues/Thurs. We'll be back again.
Food was delicious! Service was quick and professional. Atmosphere was great for us, we went for our anniversary.
Thank you Ryan H. We are always glad to receive positive feedback! I am happy that you had a good experience with us on your anniversary.
One of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time.
Food was terrible. Service was friendly but slow and incorrect
Great customer service. This was my first time in ATL and, I would say this was a great experience. Thank you for your hospitality, I hope to see u soon.
Muy buena la atención, magníficas las sugerencias
It was awful from the start. When we first arrived, we waited at the desk to be checked in but we’re not greeted for about 30 minutes. There was only 3 other guests in the entire restaurant, however no one was willing to seat us. I went to the bar to ask what we should do, but the bartender told us he was unsure and to probably sit anywhere. My group and i went to try and find seats, but all of the 4 person tables were dirty and still had used dishes on them. So we stood around a little while longer until a lady with red braids came from the back to greet us. She was pretty nice. She gave us menus and walked away without apology or any explanation. My party and I looked at the menus to try and see what we wanted, however they were all different menus. We waited about 10 minutes, and still no one came back. It was then when we decided to make a different selection on food and try a new restaurant.
