We loved our dinner at Rooh. The drinks and the food were delicious and creative. The service was excellent and attentive. I saw some reviewers complained of small portion sizes for the price, but we did not find that at all. The restaurant is newly renovated and beautiful. Overall, excellent and we’d highly recommend.

Biryani was outstanding and the star of the night. Apps were avg, 8 paani pooris were $34 which is ridiculous but we got a 25% discount so we appreciated that but may not get it everytime so def not going to pay $34 for 8 pieces of avg paani poori. Katori chaat was not good at all. The yogurt was melting even before it reached our table. Galouti kebab was not good. Chicken dynamite tasted decent. Daal Bukhara and the lachcha parathas tasted very good! Overall 4 stars for service and effort, plus the biryani was yummy! But pricing is ridiculous because it’s NOT “fine dining”

Portion size of some of the dishes were really small. Server was extremely polite and courteous. Tasty food. Good ambience.

Growing pains. Room for improvement. The curries are generic and fusion Indian rarely works. The only restaurant that has successfully done that is Indian Accent in NYC. The drinks were refreshing and naan breads were very good. Small place in little Italy.

Fantastic experience at Rooh. The drinks were strong yet refreshing with a lot of Indian flavors infused in them. The service was incredibly attentive, helpful and they were also very kind in giving a cake on the house for my birthday. Finally the food was absolutely amazing. This is probably the best high-end Indian food right now in Toronto and with the 25% off grand opening promo it is incredibly incredibly worth it. The food here definitely punches above its weight class.
